22/05/2024: The restaurant is next to the printing museum where we visited. The setting is pleasant and welcoming. The whole menu is tempting, not to mention the many pastries. Everything was very good! I highly recommend this establishment đ.
19/05/2024: Lovely hidden gem, food is great and the service is fab too. It can get very busy on the weekend so you might have to queue a bit for brunch during âpeakâ brunch hours, but itâs always worth it!

Beautiful ambience in the heart of the city with skilled, professional welcoming staff who know not only how to pour a great pint but also a delicious cocktail.
Hats off to Lee - one of those rare gems of barmen who seem to have a sixth sense of what patrons need and when ⊠national Treasure!
12/10/2024: Disappointing and uncomfortably poor service - we arrived at the Sidecar Bar - and were essentially turned away. We were asked three times what we wanted, whilst watching two parties being escorted to tables in the bar. We were again asked by a more senior âhostessâ followed by a question about whether we were guests of the hotel. When we said ânoâ we were (patronizingly) told there would be a âlengthy waitâ for a table. Hospitality? No, none at all. Deserved - most definitely not.

09/11/2024: Gave away our pre-booked, pre-paid table because they said we were 30 minutes late. Wouldnât accommodate us at all. Manager came out, looks like a little 15 year old boy, obviously on a power trip, handpicking from the group who he thought was âtoo drunkâ. đ What an absolute kip wouldnât go near it again, plenty of other bars in the area happy to get the business in a time where pubs are struggling to pay their bills.
05/11/2024: We had diner tonight for the first time at the restaurant , John made sure the service was perfect for us , we will definitely come back!
