15/09/2024: A group of 16 ladies stayed in the Clifden Station House Hotel in a combination of hotel rooms & apartments, to say we had the best time would be selling it short, from the time we arrived we were treated so well, by the time we left we were on first names with all the staff , Martin , Darren & James to mention a few, & the owner also came to our table over dinner to say Hello, we were also blessed with fabulous weather for our weekend trip,
We will definitely be back, hopefully in 2025 😊😎🥂☀️

22/09/2024: I’m not being dramatic, but when I took my first bite of the mackerel with the salad and that caramelised rhubarb.. my hands praised a higher power in the sky , as if my body somatically reacted to the food, before my brain could even register a response…
Yes it was thaaat good! Everything about the food here, from the salad grown out front, to the little crunchy seeds and onions and the dressings and sauces… would not change a thing, try everything, it’s all delicious, fresh, absolute satisfaction on a plate,
On all of thee levels physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually 💜💜💜🌸🌸🌸💚💚💚 the best the best the best!
15/09/2024: A unique and fabulous spot for lunch in Inisbofin! We stopped off during a cycling tour of the island...4 adults, 4 children. The food was phenomenal especially the fish tacos. The hot dogs went down a treat for the children. Highly recommend and so glad we stopped!

11/11/2024: In the heart of the town of Clifden is a nicely kept well presented cafe/restaurant come B&B. The room was spacious clean and came with all you needed. The breakfast was a lovely traditional irish fry that keeps you going for the day. Teas/coffee for all tastes. In the evening the menu really catered for all tastes but Tappas and pasta a must to sample.
07/11/2024: Restaurant pretty poor.Several Items not available from menu(it happens)Wines not available from menu(unusual)Waitress returned to table several times to check,confirm orders etc.Below average low grade charcutarie.Duck breast inedible.
Not sure where the great reviews are coming from.Overall disapointing experience.

13/08/2024: Lovely place, with a great buzz. People of all ages and very busy. They have live music sometimes that can be really good and heated seats in outside area.
08/07/2024: I had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon with three teenagers and a young adult. Service was very friendly and competent. We all enjoyed our meals and our vegetarian was very pleased with her Halloumi burger. Only disappointment was the lack of vinegar to accompany the really excellent chips.

With a semi-Olympic pool, you just have to wear a cap to
Swim. In general very good hotel.
07/10/2024: Stayed here with my family for a few days and it was lovely. Room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. The pool was great and child friendly . The staff are very nice and accommodating. Not far from the sea and different amenities. Great value for money.

31/07/2024: Came here recently for a party. We had a good time. Finger food was good and there was a band playing we enjoyed very much. Staff were very slow though at the bar.
13/07/2024: On our way to Doolin from Westport we stopped for a fortified lunch. The open faced ham & turkey over mashed potatoes and veg with dressing was OK but a tad dry even with brown gravy.

17/07/2024: Always great service and good food, a great place to also meet with friends as they have a variety of dishes on offer. There is always plenty of parking at the side and around the back. Very popular and once went in and could not get a table.

30/03/2024: Great coffee. Busy popular spot in Barna Village. The pancakes with yogurt and berries were great and copious serving. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating if weather good. Warm and cosy indoors when weather otherwise. Local staff and which is becoming the exception..keep up the good work
