28/11/2024: Clean and modern rooms, good location cos clifsen has lots of eat and drink options plus close to very nice scenery. Station house restaurant has good food and nice ambience.

13/08/2024: Lovely place, with a great buzz. People of all ages and very busy. They have live music sometimes that can be really good and heated seats in outside area.
08/07/2024: I had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon with three teenagers and a young adult. Service was very friendly and competent. We all enjoyed our meals and our vegetarian was very pleased with her Halloumi burger. Only disappointment was the lack of vinegar to accompany the really excellent chips.

29/11/2024: I have tried 3x emailing - I’ve tried to contact on instagram by sending direct messages as well as commenting on posts to get into contact with someone at this hotel. No one has replied. I need to cancel my reservation - my card was charged when it was not clear any change would be made before 48 hours of checkin (my reservation is for May 2025) I need to cancel my reservation and don’t wish to contact Visa but I guess that will be my next step as it’s been two weeks and I cannot reach anyone whatsoever.

22/09/2024: I’m not being dramatic, but when I took my first bite of the mackerel with the salad and that caramelised rhubarb.. my hands praised a higher power in the sky , as if my body somatically reacted to the food, before my brain could even register a response…
Yes it was thaaat good! Everything about the food here, from the salad grown out front, to the little crunchy seeds and onions and the dressings and sauces… would not change a thing, try everything, it’s all delicious, fresh, absolute satisfaction on a plate,

15/09/2024: A unique and fabulous spot for lunch in Inisbofin! We stopped off during a cycling tour of the island...4 adults, 4 children. The food was phenomenal especially the fish tacos. The hot dogs went down a treat for the children. Highly recommend and so glad we stopped!

24/11/2024: Would rate 0 stars if possible, my cocktail came with a dead fly as garnish, when I asked for it to be remade I got the same cocktail with the dead fly only partially removed, the manager Aisling Hall, delivered the 3rd attempt at a cocktail within 60 seconds of the 2nd one going back and when confronted about the quick turnaround stated “this is the 3rd free cocktail you are after getting” and at no stage was there any apology for the initial fly in the drink or any acknowledgment of the fact that she didn’t remake the initial drink.
Would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the taste of dead fly and terrible customer service.

31/07/2024: Came here recently for a party. We had a good time. Finger food was good and there was a band playing we enjoyed very much. Staff were very slow though at the bar.
13/07/2024: En nuestro camino a Doolin desde Westport paramos para un almuerzo fortificado. El jamón y pavo de cara abierta sobre puré de patatas y verduras con aderezo estaba bien, pero un poco seco incluso con salsa marrón.

19/11/2024: Ordered a cake for our mom’s 80th birthday dinner, the cake was described as ‘best ever in life’. Also ordered gluten free cupcakes and they were delicious. Can’t recommend Ann and the White Gables team enough, the food and service is incredible. A definite must for any occasion. Have ordered breads, cupcakes, cake and hampers from White Gables, 10/10 every time. Thank you Ann and team.
14/11/2024: Ordered a chai latte from here, drink felt suspiciously light when I picked up the cup but when I got home I wanted to see how much of the drink was actually in the cup, this is a picture with all the foam and then once all the foam was removed, I paid full price for a barely half filled drink. Won't be back again.

17/07/2024: Always great service and good food, a great place to also meet with friends as they have a variety of dishes on offer. There is always plenty of parking at the side and around the back. Very popular and once went in and could not get a table.

30/03/2024: Great coffee. Busy popular spot in Barna Village. The pancakes with yogurt and berries were great and copious serving. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating if weather good. Warm and cosy indoors when weather otherwise. Local staff and which is becoming the exception..keep up the good work
