I ordered bacon and maple syrup pancakes and they were to die for! Hot chocolate pairs well with them.
Staff were friendly, the place was clean, atmosphere very friendly and cozy, the food was good.
03/09/2026: Today I had a fine onion soup and a delicious, generously topped toasted sandwich. The Americano coffee was decent. Polite service, and a small mistake when taking the order was corrected quickly and without any hassle.
Worth coming back!

09/09/2026: Rip offs, €70 to plug in the diagnostic machine is crazy. Took 5 mins max, told me go for a coffee so I wouldn’t see how long it actually took them.
28/08/2026: Flat tire after hitting a curb. Immediate service and tire change in 15 minutes!!
For a price much lower than in France. Highly recommended.

03/08/2026: Amazing afternoon meal in Foleys yesterday. The staff were excellent and the owner was so welcoming. Menu is very extensive and offers a delicious range of food. The cocktails were incredible. My friend’s father stayed there and said the bedrooms were stunning.
Highly recommend Foleys for anyone staying in Kenmare or anyone who wants to dine or have a drink there. I visit it every time I am down and I will definitely be back in the future.

08/09/2026: Dropped in here today with my wife, 2 year old and 4 month old after a walk on the beach. Classic rural Irish bar. Immaculate inside. Couple of old boys at the bar. Local pictures, lifeboat memorabilia, Irish rugby and GAA imagery on the walls.
Fantastic pint of Guinness and nice glass of wine. Fairly priced.
Only staying for a few more nights but if I get the chance to return I will.
06/09/2026: We spent one night here and it was very good. The room was lovely, decorated in a nautical and modern style, and the accommodation is indeed located at the western end of the island with a very short walk to the beach. All our requests were catered to at breakfast.

19/05/2026: Dan Linehan's bar is the coolest pub in town. Very friendly bartender who helped us tourist with all are questions.
15/05/2026: I can only review the bar and the bartender here – I didn't stay overnight.
Bar: Very good, it has the feel of a pub and sports bar, but seems cleaner and fresher than the pubs in the area.
(No food – just drinks)
Bartender: Confident and friendly (he explained hurling to me).
The pint of red ale is good and poured quickly (€6.30).
The unique feature is the urinals from the men's restroom!
They've creatively repurposed old beer kegs – a great idea!

Bar an Bhuailtin
26/04/2024: Nothing bad to report here. Good service was provided and had a chicken burger, chips, chowder and two zero heinekens. Toilets very clean. Sometimes they have live music. Nice decor.
