It needs a vegan option so I wouldn't come to eat here.
On request it does offer a vegan platter for parties but sadly no vegan option any other time.

07/09/2025: Had been hoping to try Mara for a while now and went for their Harvest Festival tapas menu last night - it did not disappoint! The atmosphere of the restaurant feels really special, the service was great and the food was unique and delicious. Special mention for the burnt basque cheesecake which was amazing! Looking forward to visiting again soon.
03/09/2025: On a quiet Sunday evening we had a ovely inventive tasting menu with Luis fusing Japanese cuisine with Irish produce and his Spanish influences. Also great wine pairings!

08/08/2025: A lovely pub that we discovered by accident on a short stop in Waterford. The stuff we're kind enough to accommodate us in the evening even though we were coming with kids. Cosy beer garden as well!

04/10/2025: You have to go order at the counter and pay first before you get your food.
€33 for two basic breakfasts. Food was actually bland and like rubber. Cappuccino tasted like it was made with sour milk. Staff are nice, ambience is nice, but can't forgive being overcharged for low quality food. Will never return.

10/09/2025: Kind staff, has an upstairs seating which I love and I always come for the berry refresher, wish they’d supply more of that pasta though, but it’s amazing and I’d recommend going for a quiet place to relax and hang out or to get some work done.
02/08/2025: Under staffed and those that were on were dirty looking and rude. Cappuccinos are served with chocolate. Don’t act as if it’s an inconvenience! Tables filthy. Would not use the toilets as manky.
