11/07/2026: Lovely food here. Had the fish and chips and it was plentiful and really tasty. Better half had the featherblade taco and the prawn tapa. Nice but the prawns were probably from Thailand or some far off place. Impossible to get good prawns anymore.
09/07/2026: My wife, 2 teenage kids, our 6yr old Matipoo and I recently had an evening meal here. We can only speak highly of this restaurant.
The food and top class and the staff were so friendly and accommodating.
It’s great to see a restaurant that is dog friendly.
Best time we’re in Dungarvan we’ll be sure to pay another visit.

31/05/2026: We had a lovely stay at the Viking Hotel Waterford. It is a very nice, quiet hotel that provides a perfectly relaxing environment.
Our room was incredibly comfortable and featured nice, cozy beds that ensured a great night's sleep.
The reception staff were absolutely superb—welcoming, efficient, and very helpful.
It is in a highly convenient location, making it easy to get around the area.
Breakfast: They serve a decent breakfast with a good variety to start your day off right.
With its combination of comfort, great service, and convenience, the Viking Hotel is a wonderful choice when staying in Waterford. We would happily stay here again!

I would like to share a concern regarding my experience today while watching the Argentina World Cup match.
I ordered three pints of Heineken and was charged three different prices:
● 1st pint: €6.40
● 2nd pint: €6.20
● 3rd pint: €6.70
When I asked about the difference, I was told it was due to “human error.” However, I was not able to speak with the manager about the matter.
Please review your bill carefully before paying. While mistakes can happen, customers should receive a clear explanation and consistent pricing. This was a disappointing experience.

31/05/2026: My wife and I celebrated the evening after our wedding, rented out the top floor and had some bar food on service. Great craic and it was nice as many of our guests had come over from Canada as well. One of our bartenders was only too happy to get roped into some scheme with one of my mates and we had good fun bringing me a shot every 10min until I figured out what was going on. Good man! (I won't name any names, but solid future ahead of that lad!)
Everyone had a nice time and it was good to have a space to ourselves as well.

10/07/2026: One of the smaller Costa Coffee shops housed in an older building but with lots of character & olde world feel. Young professional staff with great customer service. Single unisex toilet on 1st floor not accessible to wheelchair users.
13/06/2026: Ignored by one member of staff, other was very polite. Toilet door does not lock, sheet of paper taped to it asking people to knock first. Despite this I was given a code for the door, are all the staff aware? Hand dryer not working/no tissue to dry hands. Drink order was wrong, lid also cracked so drink was leaking down side of cup. Drink was takeaway so didn't bother going back as I had left before realising the order was wrong. Wouldn't bother coming back.

19/06/2024: We visited this hotel while in Waterford. The staff here are friendly, polite, mannerly and helpful. The bar/restaurant staff particularly is what stands out. If I was to be critical I would say I preferred the old food menu, the fish and chips is not the same as it once was. Lovely spot to visit.
24/04/2024: Lovey food and ambiance. Great staff. Was so nice to wind down and enjoy a meal after browsing around boutiques in Waterford all morning. Had the roast beef and it was as nice as the frock I bought earlier. Treat yourself and enjoy a nice meal by the sea.

Copper Coast Cafe

09/06/2024: Superb cafe in a beautiful setting. Great coffee, delicious freshly baked pastries and cake, home made soup, salads in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It is also dog friendly which is a great.
01/06/2024: We’ve stopped at the Copper Coast Cafe about 5 times now. We are always met with a very friendly welcome. The food is superb, really fresh and tasty, with a lot of home made bakes and cakes. I cannot recommend it enough - JUST GO!! And experience it yourself
