07/08/2025: I visited Caffè Letterario in Bray today for the second time, and it just confirmed what a gem this place is. It’s rare to find a café like this in Ireland. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a quiet moment. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I had one of their panini, and it was delicious, fresh and full of flavour.
If you want an espresso like in Italy, this is the place. An amazing spot. I highly recommend it.

03/08/2025: Went in to use the bathroom here during the bray air festival as the public toilets had a 30 minute line. Just to get screamed at by both the Italian male and female owners at the top of their lungs in front of the whole busy cafe, I’m 7 months pregnant and he shouted at the top of his lungs at me “shame on you for using your pregnancy as an EXCUSE” over and over. Such a horrible attitude, left me shook leaving.
Please don’t support this place with such a degrading attitude towards pregnant women. For the uneducated owner:
1. Pregnancy isn’t an ‘excuse’ to use the toilet when in need
2. You should never scream in the face of a pregnant woman it’s very stressful for her and baby to handle
16/07/2025: Wonderful experience, that's the only place in Ireland where I drink coffee as a very good coffee fussy Italian, cheap coffee for Irish prices. Food made freshly from scratch daily including bread and focaccia dough, desserts freshly made from scratch daily, very fresh ingredients with plenty of Italian ingredients. The Italian owners working there make everything and serve both in English and in Italian, they are fantastic people, I always go here every week, super mega ultra recommended. Coffee and wine on sale.

15/07/2025: I live locally to La Fig and can't resist getting a weekly pizza there. It's very reasonably priced for the quality of food provided. Although concentrating mostly on pizzas, the quality of food is above par compared to many high end Italian restaurants found in the capital. They also sell coffee by the bean and preserves from the continent, amongst very well made dips/sides and cakes. The
quality of the products they use is obviously chosen by a very experienced person. There is hardly any pretense in the shop itself, just amazing food, which personally for me is preferable. Definitely not your average pizza shop and a bit of a hidden gem in the area. Enjoy it.

27/08/2025: Arrived late in the day but had a nice welcome and looked after very well by the young lady managing the floor with a couple of other covers, and kitchen by the looks of it. Food was freshly cooked,tasty and there was no rush put on us. Many thanks.visited on 27 Aug 25.
15/07/2025: The staff were very friendly/ helpful and efficient. I asked for coffee to be served when the food landed, and that's exactly what happened .Very clean. Kid friendly. Cappuccino €3.70 .Club Sandwich €9

06/07/2025: Went here after a lovely hike in glendalough and was greeted by the most lovely of servers, Amy, who kept us entertained for our entire visit with quick wit and great service. Would highly recommend going here to meet this lovely woman alone
29/06/2025: We were out as family in and around Roundwood and rang this restaurant to find about food options as we had specific dietary requirements and they were super helpful, knowledgeable. We came down for food and enjoyed a very nice meal 4 of us ( 2 Kids and 2 adults). What made our visit special was the behaviour of the staff, they were super nice. Would definitely recommend and also visit again.

05/08/2025: Really nice garden centre and cafe, with a series of charming interconnected gardens to walk through behind the garden centre. Prices are better than in garden centres closer to Dublin and the new pavilion means all of the plants are under cover. Cafe closes at 5.30 and centre at 6
02/08/2025: Disappointed in the overall care and maintenance here! Toilets were very stinky… even in the cafe it was possible to smell the toilets!

25/07/2025: Absolute dump. Room was the size of a postage stamp that smelled of Indian food and the toilet / shower was so small that you couldn't turn around in.
The carpet was sticky and I wouldn't walk barefoot on it for fear of catching something.
It's a dump, stay clear.

08/08/2025: The food was good here but the service was a bit hit and miss. We only ordered soup and coffee. The coffee came quick but there was a mix up with soup order which took ages to arrive. The cafe is in a modern building at back of craft shops. The car park is fairly small but plenty of parking on access road through the estate.
25/07/2025: Worth going out of your way. Excellent lunch and later in the afternoon cakes.

18/07/2025: What an amazing place..excellent food and service..another plus is this establishment is now operating and exceptionally wonderful camping park .ample spots that will accommodate awning ..very large open grass and gravel space just a stones throw from the restaurant and pub..very reasonable prices ..everything u need is here ..as of now there is some more work been done so bear with the team ...couple of miles from brittas bay..best beach in the sunny south east..so check out this family friendly gym
12/07/2025: Fabulous food in the restaurant as ever and good value, great atmosphere, staff so friendly and attentive. And be sure to head into the bar for music and craic .
