27/02/2026: Beautiful spot - delighted with the new look. Café far far too expensive for what is being served. A baked potato with cheese and coleslaw cost a lady €30!! She had to return it as it was served cold! But you garden varieties and implements and decoration but don’t eat here. Food isn’t very tasty either - needs an uplift of flavour and not so high dependence on starch like potatoes and rice. Cmon now Arboretum you’ve been there a while and still no change to the cafe.

01/02/2026: The coffee, focaccia, and desserts were amazing! I felt like I was in Italy and it brought back wonderful memories. You can really tell everything was made with love and the staff was so kind and attentive. Highly recommend! 😊

19/01/2026: Very good coffee ☕ the pastries are also a treat, the Italians here are super friendly, just like the ones in Milan (hahahaha, it's an inside joke with them) haha. But very good service, friendly, exquisite coffee and pastries, and a super warm atmosphere in Bray, where you get used to having coffee around six in the afternoon. In Ireland, usually four or three in the afternoon, there aren't any cafes hahaha, so it's much appreciated 😊😊😁

23/02/2026: Absolutely divine coffee service exceptional and the foxy breakfast cannot be topped all locally sourced meats and sourdough bread i travel the country with work and this is the NO.1 breakfast I have had in an establishment out of hundreds will return when in the area and I can bet money my recommendation is not wrong id put the house on it.

01/03/2026: Absolute class hotel! Astonishing rooms, views, and team, who care deeply about your experience and are beyond friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bray. Do yourself a favor and splurge for one of the Oceanside views- absolutely wonderful views! Highly recommend their restaurant downstairs and received amazing hike recommendations from Raj, one of the owners. We even accidentally left something behind we forgot to pack on departure and Raj reached out to help us right away. 5 stars!

01/10/2025: We stopped in for lunch here with lower expectations after striking out several times in Donegal Town. We arrived around 1:30pm to a full house except for one table for 2. Great atmosphere. Lovely welcome/greeting from busy but accommodating staff. 4 lunch specials were offered in addition to the menu in this smallish bistro! I ordered the carbonara pasta and asked for a side Caesar salad which was no problem even though not available on the menu as a side. Hubby ordered the special chicken curry. Both were delicious! I loved the pasta but was especially impressed with the flavours and fresh ingredients of the Caesar salad. All food is made fresh to order. My husband commented on how perfectly cooked (ie not overcooked) the vegetables in his curry were. Looking forward to breakfast there tomorrow 🤗

28/02/2026: Just poor, I paid 13 euro for a toasted ham and cheese sandwich - it wasn't toasted, made from two odd cuts of bread with a slither of ham and sliced cheddar. Can't believe I paid for it. The staff walked into me twice as I was sat eating so they could clean the table next to me.

28/01/2026: One of the best crêpes you can have just outside Dublin. Also my French friends approved it :) very very good crêpes and galettes bien sûr. Nice little crêperie,cozy atmosphere with loads of nice little souvenirs,postcards and little furniture pieces from France. Friendly staff. Good location not too far from seaside front of Greystones.

14/01/2026: This place is my favorite spot. Me and my husband have been so many times and it's our go to on weekends. I have also brought all family and friends who visited, recently 2 weeks ago my auntie and she absolutely loved it. Only thing I wish is that we could book a table as they are super busy sometimes the wait can be too long. Other than that absolutely fab.

22/02/2026: I was in the middle of placing my order when my two year old daughter ran off I started panicking and asked the guy who was taking my order can you please help me to find where my daughter went and he turned and said no sorry im busy!! I said can you please get me the manager then so I can put out an alert she came upto me a dark haired lady with a face saying its your problem to look after your own kids thank god 2 seconds later she turned up if not they weren't willing to help im shocked at the customer service and the tone I was spoken to by this lady thats the manager retraining is needed!! Customer service is so important and its something thats not up to date here you can have nice food but its how you treat your customers that will draw them back building a rapid custom with your regulars! I will never spend my money here again due to this experience so upsetting! I hope my review will help other families not to have this experience going forward and I hope it brings it to someone's attention that there's improvements needed on behaviour and customer service.
