23/11/2025: Fish and chips is excellent from here really enjoyed them. We were watching dolphins playing in the estuary while we ate.

07/12/2025: A cold wet and windy evening in Ballycotton, this is the closest pub to the pier, where water rages and crashed over the breaker onto the pier and street, the perfect experience, pre-pints.
The bar was warm as was the welcome.
I was looking for a pint of local Beamish or Murphys, but was willing to settle for my favourite pint, Guinness.

01/10/2025: Great seafood, we had been recommended by the tourist guide in Kinsale, so happy it lived up to his recommendation as from the outside one would bit think yo go in - very unassuming but obviously old.
Small & a bit cramped inside & too cold to sit out when we were there although there is a sizable garden with seats & tables.
30/09/2025: We enjoyed an excellent dinner here in a lovely country pub setting on our holidays

02/01/2026: Amazing hotel and town for quiet relax , with small leisure center , multilingual staff and kind , exotic and delicious food , very cute restaurant and bar with people that speak spanish,french inclusive , so servicial and professional staff . One of the most wonderful places in Ireland

08/01/2026: While I was waiting in line to order I saw an employee drop chips on the floor and refry them… after this I left as I was DISGUSTED at the clear lack of food safety.

26/08/2024: Busy spot in Schull harbour. Food is excellent. Really fresh fish and excellently cooked and presented. Owner is French and has a great no nonsense approach to his food. Highly recommend.
