10/03/2024: Myself and my lovely wife Charlene had a break here in Sligo this weekend and have popped in here for a few drinks for a few hours we thought it was very friendly and the stuff and bouncers are helpful and nice all so we will go back if we are here in this town again thanks for your service 👍✌️😊

02/01/2024: Owners? / bartenders were very nice! Atmosphere was great, classic pub. Some music, although not the main attraction of the night as people weren't really listening. We joined the band nonetheless and had a great time! Classic drinks, no surprise there, a few non alcoholic options for beers (Heineken 0% and the likes). But crowded when trying for the bathroom.

20/11/2023: Absolutely the best pub experience I have had in Ireland. Miriam the bartender/owner is SO welcoming and immediately makes you feel like family. (which is nice because when a tourist walks into many pubs in Ireland you can feel a bit out of place or even unwanted but you will Not feel like that here). Plus the pub is very traditional & you get to experience that old Irish pub feel. My friend & I were taught how to pour our own pints of Guinness by a real expert who has been pouring frothy pints for many decades (Miriam). The lively atmosphere was great and we had wonderful conversations and entertainment! Live trad music changes from place to place throughout the week in Sligo. So it's best to find out from a local pub or shop where the trad music will be on certain nights (there is a weekly printout of the lineup). Hit up McLaughlin's when there is live music here and it will be a highlight (or THE highlight) of your trip to Ireland. The pub got packed out during the trad music. So best to get there a little early. BTW, it's cash only so run by the ATM first. Miriam was so sweet and friendly that she even came outside when we were leaving the pub and gave us all a hug. I seriously cannot say enough good things about her or her pub. Wish I was there right now!

07/11/2023: We often go to this place. They serve the freshest oysters here. And pancakes with bacon and honey are an unusual combination, but very tasty. Here inside the cafe everything is dedicated to oysters, films and paintings and various interior items. And the workers are great.

26/09/2023: I didn't do the tour but I did walk in for oysters! Very good oysters, and for those who can't handle the brine-y taste like me, the cooked oysters are super fresh and delicious. Warning - They can run out for the day so come early if you can

04/04/2024: Mid hotel. Lack of parking it's a joke, I was forced to drive around and look for space to park. Hotel car park is for merely 10 cars! River view was nice, be aware though, it's really loud. Room had poor isolation, so I could hear other guests, but at least I was clean. Also someone from the staff accidentally turned on the fire alarm and woke us up early am ...

21/03/2024: Great pub in Rosses Point with unusual decor. Fish and from the sea. Guinness top. There were free sausages and chips for watching rugby.

24/03/2024: We just returned from a brief trip. Stayed in the moonlite cruiser. What a trip it was. We were greeted by Michelle who was extremely welcoming and a great person overall giving us great ideas for our stay and being the hostest with the mostest! The location is breathtaking, the comfort was unmatched, the hot tub was so relaxing and the no phone service/WiFi was a massive highlight. Not to forget the animals. We had a lovely time. The only complaint we have is that we couldnt stay there forever. Thank you so much for having us and will be returning for sure!!!

04/04/2024: Quick, delicious, cheap, with fantastic service and staff. It's become such a regular lunchtime spot for me, the portions and quality are fantastic, especially at the price point. If you've been on the fence, go next you have the chance!

31/01/2024: I eat here on a regular basis and why not? The food is simply and absolutely delicious. No additives, just pure fresh ingredients, always served up piping hot and with big friendly smiles. It is in a great location, a lovely spot to take a bit of time out, get some fantastic food, read the paper, watch the world go by, chat with the friendly staff and leave with a smile on your face. I do think that the shopping centre owners could do a lot more for the Thai Post Team and add some wind barriers to stop the draughts from the nearby entrance doors. After all Thai Pots has increased the footfall in the centre by a considerable amount. Bill
