The best restaurants in Clonmel

16/07/2026: Had to attend a meeting here recently and while decor and atmosphere was nice inside, it took a while to be noticed at the bar when tyring to order a drink. After the staff member served several people ahead of me if finally go my order in.

18/06/2026: Breda is an absolute lady, talented kind znd just a class person, fabulous at her job, some talent, she made a second cske for me went out of her way over cake being fresh cream instead of butter cream, i never said a word, they rang me to say another cskd was being made i wdnt n next day met her n person shes a class lady, was so kind and un needed to go to the trouble, was so nice to my son in shop too, nicest person I met n long time, credit to her, ,x

03/08/2026: Always online ordering now but worked well and staff helpful. Good excellent

30/07/2026: Workers are slow and even though there are so many of them, the food almost took an hour. Would not reccomend.

26/12/2025: So pleased it was open on st Stephen's day ,and a lovely member of staff called Jan was really helpful and a delight to meet

20/07/2026: Ordered for delivery. No driver available to collect the food. I rang them to see could I pick it up, even willing to eat the cost. But no, I had to cancel the order and now I won't get the money back immediately. I used to be a delivery driver. This method of waiting on random strangers to accept deliveries is absolutely ridiculous. I'll never order again from any restaurant that uses this method. It's disgusting and an insult to actual drivers looking for work.

17/06/2026: I ordered food and it never came, it's funking ridiculous, funking scandals, and they never gave back my money.

31/07/2026: We went to this restaurant today after enjoying our family lunch yesterday decided to spend another nice afternoon at the garden center, all our family ordered a meal and one of my family did not like the dinner and we explained this to the staff and asked for something else as we didn’t want to be rude and ask for money back, when the manager came down with a ciabatta ( less than the price of the dinner) she just put it on the table and didn’t speak we asked her what was wrong and she made a big scene in front of the restaurant saying she didn’t understand why we didn’t like the dinner as we explained we just didn’t like the dinner and asked for something else trying to be polite and she was very rude and wasn’t one bit compassionate about her customers as she was so rude and embarrassing after we left over €100 in the 2 afternoons we left her the ciabatta as we were made feel so embarrassed to ask for a exchange on food. There is also no allergy board up to say what is in the food and the food was full of butter and my family member had an intolerance to butter and was made too embarrassed to explain this. Not very welcoming or comforting. This takes from the whole garden center for our family.

27/04/2026: Got two pizzas yesterday. One of them was the wrong pizza. The correct one was on the box but wrong one inside. Had to put mine in the oven to stay warm while I drive the other back. Manager tried to insist on seeing the other pizza. So. What, I was supposed to bring mine too so it could get cold while we waited on him to fix his mistake? My fiance has been making pizzas for years and applied in here before for work. They hired someone we actually knew personally, but who had absolutely zero experience. It shows. Bad mannered staff, bad mannered manager. Imagine insisting on seeing the other pizza instead of apologising for such a stupid mistake? Not ONE hint of an apology was given. Went home and ate my crispy pizza that I had to heat in the oven myself. But I likely won't be ordering from this branch again after that. Spent €32 on two pizzas to be basically accused of switching pizzas or something. And even if I had done, YOU WERE STILL GETTING ONE BACK SO WE'D HAVE GOTTEN NOTHING EXTRA ANYWAY! WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE POINT?? note: slices were cut so uneven that a quarter of the pizza was one slice and the next one was about an inch wide. Also, none cut down to the bottom. I do not expect to have to eat takeaway pizza with a knife. There are other comments here from months ago complaining about EXACTLY the same thing. So they clearly aren't interested in fixing things OR hiring people who know how to make pizza. Fools.

26/05/2026: Not good at all.. rubbery, cheap meat in the kebab. Frozen chips served. Avoid.

22/05/2026: A lovely place to have pizza and milkshake. The mango boat milk shake is wonderful.

13/07/2026: This Café would be my first port of call when I visit Clonmel. Well here and the church up the road for a quick prayer. But for all the times I prayed there God never, ever, made me a breakfast like this. All for a tenner; for me a sinner. While I'm at it, the coffee ain't bad at all.

27/06/2026: I can’t even tell you how many times we have gone there, and got disgusting dirty cutlery and cups. Every time I speak to the “ management “ all that she says is … let me change that for you … there was hard pieces of egg on my knife today, and my cup had dried coffee and lipstick stains on. I am not one for complaining but they just don’t seem to care about the health and safety being in the hospitality business. This is not acceptable for any restaurant to give the customers DIRTY cutlery etc. I have now reported this to health and safety Ireland also, because clearly they don’t give a damn.

12/06/2026: Great coffee, sandwiches and fresh baked goods. Spacious and friendly staff.

14/05/2026: Lovely place to get a bite to eat..Always enjoy having lunch there..
