23/07/2025: This restaurant is top class. Pizzas to die for as well as heavenly desserts. Peroni on draft and fab coffee also. Pleasant and efficient staff. Can’t recommend highly enough
22/07/2025: Myself, my girlfriend and her family have spent two of the last four nights here at Azzurro, and it has been absolutely wonderful. The food and service were fantastic. They accommodated our big group with ease and made our evening really enjoyable! We ended up staying a lot longer than we had planned because the atmosphere was so enjoyable!would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

The Strand Inn

13/08/2025: Above and beyond for sure. If you find yourself in Dunmore Ireland, find the Strand. After walking from the cruise tender port through the town, we had lunch which was great. BUT because of my walking limitation, we found that we could not get back to the tender. PAUL, the manager, dropped everything and drove us back in his personal car and would only take a THANK YOU for his kindness. I’ve never have experienced anything like this…say hello to Paul when you get there. He is THE BEST EVER! 🍀

The Haven Hotel

27/07/2025: We had a great time here. Fine place with plenty of individual touches from the owner. Ate in the hotel restaurant too, and the food was very good. Nice pints in the bar afterwards too...nice atmosphere and a bit of traditional music going on in the corner, nice bonus.

03/08/2025: Very disappointed. Waited half an hour for food. After a while, went inside, no new orders and staff seemed to forget about us. The food eventually came although i woukd have fathered it didn’t. We ordered the ham and cheese toastie and the “seafood” chowder. The sandwich was extremely disappointing. Cooked in the heat of the moment as cheese was barely melted. Bread was not toasted and it was covered in butter. Chowder was extremely disappointing. Lukewarm, really salty, and overall disgusting. €25 it costed however i think i’d have to be payed €25 to eat that. This place is washed.

03/08/2025: Heard about this takeaway from friends who raved about it. Totally exceeded my expectations- lemon sole and chips to die for. Five star!!
