07/10/2025: Popped in here recently whilst on a family trip to the area, 2 adults 2 kids 8 & 4.
We as a couple had a great experience in this restaurant 8.5 yrs prior so we thought we’d give it a go.
It didn’t disappoint. No booking no problem, nice little table. Colours for the kids from get go, very attentive staff. We only had mains so can only guess how good the starters may have been. Mains were tops. Kids then walked over to the ice cream counter were a very patient staff member called out each ice cream flavour.
A must visit for food, comfy atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Hoping it won’t be years again I return 😊

20/12/2025: The place was cold when we arrived, but the staff quickly brought out a heating fan, which was appreciated. The Guinness was good.
28/08/2025: Lovely pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Great hospitality from all the team here. Especially Josh (and his Dad!) and Sarah who helped us link up a football game to watch on their TV. Thank you so much.x

Perfect cold sunny winters day sat outside looking at the beach.
14/12/2025: The fish disgusting supposed to be large piece of fish more like a small piece and so much batter to make it look like a large piece chips were very nice though

Star House Chinese/Asian Restaurant&Take Away

30/12/2025: This is a takeaway and I am not sure I ever had a nicer fillet of beef satay from a takeaway or from a restaurant. Well done. First class.
