23/02/2025: We just came to eat something small so we can’t review the rooms. The location is brilliant and the food yummy and quick. If you are not too hungry go for the soup of the day and the beef burger from the kids menu :) large enough even for an adult! Happy to come back any time

03/04/2025: Just back from a night in the Haven Hotel. Disappointed to say the least. Was in a separate building from the Hotel which has three rooms. Small room and the smell in the bathroom was awful. Lucky for us it wasn’t raining as we had to walk outside to get to the hotel for dinner and breakfast. Evening meal bland and overcooked! Breakfast was nice and lady serving it was lovely. Woken next morning by construction noise on site which we were told about so overall not a great experience unfortunately.

01/04/2025: We stayed here last night. Beautiful old world family hotel. Friendly greetings and very friendly staff. Despite their work on a new function room, we had a wonderful stay with sea view room. Thanks to all. We will be back.

21/02/2025: Beautiful cafe with a wide variety on the menu from seafood to ham & cheese toastie. Very friendly staff, an absolute gem overlooking the busy harbour below.

17/02/2025: Oh my God! On a cold winters Monday, with the roadside strewn with monkeys carrying brass welders, we stopped in looking for a little warmth in the Bay Cafe in Dunmore east. We both had the Tomato and basil soup and a chicken toasted special along with a latte to wash it down. The soup was the perfect winters cocktail while the sambo was the ideal comfort food to beat away the Monday winters blues. The coffee was to the same exceptional standard and the staff and atmosphere were exactly as you would hope for. All'n'all the best spontaneous stop of our few days away. Dunmore east is beautiful and the scenery majestic, but the Bay Cafe makes it worth coming back.
