The best restaurants in Mullingar

20/12/2025: Some days ago I went there with a couple of friends and we were delighted. They were so pasionate with their job, and they offered us an incredible experience. We'll come back without any doubt!!! We were amazed with the treat and with all the details they had to us🥰

09/12/2025: This was truly a dream come true experience. The service here was so kind and helpful. We went to see all the Niall Horan stuff and we were truly amazed. The owners son showed us everything and helped us with all. We are absolutely delighted and very grateful. Sincerely I can’t recommend this place enough.

09/11/2025: We had a fantastic morning coffee here! This is a lovely little cafe to visit, where the staff are very welcoming and helpful; the coffee is also delicious and strong, accompanied by a perfect carrot cake recommended by one of the baristas. There are many different areas in which to sit, each offering a different atmosphere and comfortable vibe. The music was a nice, upbeat addition, and not so loud that it was hard to chat. I noted the premises is dog friendly, which makes sense given the outdoor area. The front of shop is bright and seating is well spaced throughout. The baristas brought the coffees to the table, my flat white was good and strong which was great for early in the day, and good value for €3.70 and the carrot cake with walnuts was top notch for €3.80. They have a wide selection of individual cookies, cakes and other treats on offer, as well as some more filling options.

05/11/2025: The best cappuccino and espresso in Mullingar. The Brazilian asai was nice. Lovely place, an amazing atmosphere and music. I recommended it.

01/12/2025: He went to Mullingar to get to know Niall Horan’s hometown, it’s a good place, little variety of food since it’s a buffet, but a pleasant atmosphere

25/11/2025: This is a nice hotel. I rented a double twin room and I arrived later than anticipated. The woman at the reception was nice and helpful and I got my room right away. The hotel is complicated to maneuver while getting to the rooms but it has some nice featured rooms. It has a restaurant, a bar and a dining area for breakfast. And other areas that are nicely decorated. My room is nice and fairly large. One thing I noticed when I got into my room was that it was overly hot. Almost like a warm sauna. I looked at the radiator in the room to dial down the temperature and then I noticed that the dial was broken. I went down to reception and they offered to move me to another room. I declined and just opened the windows to let the cold in. Mullingar weather is nice and cold at the moment with plenty of rain so it helped to even out the temperature. The room is nice and the beds are comfortable. The table and chairs are a nice touch but a little cramped for the space. The bathroom is nice and clean. There are nice touches that make this hotel a nice place to stay. I highly recommend a visit.

09/11/2025: Brought our 9 year old daughter in at the weekend for her second ear piercing. There is so much more to Angel Art than meets the eye. We were brought upstairs by Angel to a large 2nd floor which was divided into smaller rooms so customers had a little bit of privacy. Angel was wonderful, explained everything in a child friendly way and made our daughter feel really at ease with her. The piercing was done with a needle which I wasn’t expecting and was done so quickly even our daughter was shocked that it was over and said that it was so much easier than when she had her ears pierced the first time with the gun. Angel also gave her a squishy as a distraction which she was delighted with. Would highly recommend Angel Art for children’s ear piercing. Our daughter had a wonderful experience.

10/10/2025: A wonderful quirky place. An atmosphere of calm, wonderful collection of new age stuff, incense in the air, kate bush on the sound system. I could spend all day there and not buy anything and leave with much more than I had going in. Great place with wonderful staff. 10/10.

23/09/2025: Nothing to say top place in towm great staff cosy and amazing food and coffee well done to all staff and management. I'm a regular visitor and a local my favourite place in towm.

06/12/2025: My partner and 3 family and friends stayed in the Annebrook hotel last week. She was asked to leave an honest review, which she did and they edited it into a favourable review. Not good.

01/12/2025: Lovely place to go for something to eat, staff are very obliging, food is always good, breakfast served until 12, then a carvery lunch and evening menu

30/08/2025: A brewery on Mullingar's main street with a very pleasant terrace overlooking a pedestrian area and outdoor heaters. A very Irish feel! And good beer!

20/08/2025: Had breakfast here a few times, always excellent, good product used Aug2025 had lunch, if you're hungry or have a big appetite this is the place to go, food is not only piled on to the plate but it's delicious, I had the lasagne and my wife had the fish and chips

07/12/2025: The portions are very large, but the food is good. The restaurant is inside a shop, which is a bit odd, but otherwise everything is fine.

28/09/2025: Food, service and atmosphere were okay, but overall the price didn’t match the quality. Staff could pay a bit more attention to the room — for example, we asked for the bill but had to remind them again before we could pay. An average experience.

08/09/2025: Pleasant staff. Menu has a large range of options and choices. Was there on a Thursday evening in August, and was very quiet.

12/11/2025: Good old fashioned bar with excellent Guinness. Friendly owner and staff. Comfortable lounge area and has bar full of characters.
