Not gonna lie might be one of the best chippys I’ve had. It’s always a good sign when a chippy makes you wait rather than getting something out from under a heat lamp. Very fresh not overly fatty and comes in proper paper not a horrible polystyrene tray. Well priced too 12-13 euro for a big portion.

Delicious fish & chips! I had the cod. The batter was fried perfectly - brown and crispy! The chips were a little chewy, but still tasted great! Very generous portion served with vinegar and salt. Declan is an absolute legend! Had a good chat while I was waiting and he even gave me a complimentary home-made tartare sauce because I came all the way to Dingle from Australia! Thanks Declan. Great to meet you!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Dingle. We’d spent the morning walking Ventry Beach and some time in the Dingle shops. Fortunately my sister had done some research and we knew this is where we wanted to have a late lunch. The three chairs at the counter were open so we were able to eat in the restaurant. The catch was cod and monkfish for the day and I love monkfish, so I was happy. We had a nice chat with the owner and heard about his 30 year career fishing and now using local friends as his fish supplier. The interior of the small shop is so well decorated.

Little beach shack, take away fish and chips, can't go wrong. Fresh caught, best monkfish I've had. Well worth it!

Amazing place + food right in Dingle. Better half and I ate Fish/chips and a hamburger at the side counter. Unbelievably great. So many flavors, incredibly fresh with a reasonably priced menu. You know it’s good when there’s a steady stream in and out of a place. To top it off, the owner/cook is super cool and talented. A+

The gentleman who served us was really nice and helpful, and especially with my allergies, he tried to be very detailed about the ingredients and the type of fried food.
If there are two of you, I don't recommend getting both the fish (cod) and chips and the cheeseburger, because we finished the latter for dinner. The fish and chips are fried in lard, so plan accordingly based on your hunger.
I enjoyed both dishes, but I enjoyed the cheeseburger more, with a really good homemade sauce (slightly spicy).
Not all the fish is available, and that's because they rely on the catch of the day, which should be a sign of the freshness of the ingredients.
We took what we ate, so they provided us with everything we could to take away the delicious sauce as well.
The only flaw is that the restaurant needs a bit more cleaning.

This is a take-away--and do stop in for take-away. The staff there is friendly, informative, sweet and funny. There were many choices for the fish--haddock and hake, yes. And several more--I had the monk fish. Oh, so delicious. The chips are crispy on the outside, soft and luscious inside. I'm a vinegar and salt lover, so that was my choice. There are picnic tables and walls to sit on at the harbor. Some pubs will allow the food if you order a drink. I sat by the water--and watched the boats and enjoyed the beauty and devoured this delicious late lunch.

Stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon. We'd had a recommendation that this was the best chipper! And it was.
Hake and cod were sweet and tasty. Chips were excellent. And don't pass up the homemade curry and tartar!
