Reel Dingle Fish in An daingean

This is a take-away--and do stop in for take-away. The staff there is friendly, informative, sweet and funny. There were many choices for the fish--haddock and hake, yes. And several more--I had the monk fish. Oh, so delicious. The chips are crispy on the outside, soft and luscious inside. I'm a vinegar and salt lover, so that was my choice. There are picnic tables and walls to sit on at the harbor. Some pubs will allow the food if you order a drink. I sat by the water--and watched the boats and enjoyed the beauty and devoured this delicious late lunch.

Unbelievable fish and chips, fish was fresh from the boat that same morning. Cod is 10/10 and the chicken goujons are real chicken in the best batter I’ve ever tasted! Excellent service! Can’t wait to go back!!

We visited Reel Dingle Fish based on a recommendation from our local host – and it was absolutely worth it! Super fresh fish, perfectly cooked, crispy chips, and incredibly friendly service. The portions are generous, the taste is fantastic – and honestly, the garlic mayo alone is worth the visit! You can really tell that quality and care go into everything here. A must-visit spot in Dingle – we’d come back anytime!

The best fish and chips we've ever had!!! The burger was fantastic as well (local meat). Please, do not miss this place! Not only the food quality is top, the guys there are LOVELY! Give a try, you won't regret. Hope to see you soon! Xx

Can't go wrong with this chipper. I am not even a massive fish and chips fan, but the reviews had been so good for this place we had to try it. It was brilliant, we had to wait about 30 minutes or so but that's enough time to get a quick pint in!

Fabulous fish and chips and the owner is genuinely friendly and welcoming. Fish and chips €12.90. Spot on!

Declan was reticent to recommend from the menu, which made sense later as the fresh haddock, smoked haddock, monkfish, and ray were all excellent in their own way. Tartar sauce is an absolute must, but sweet chili sauce was kickass also. Portions were ample. Go in hungry.

If you want fresh fish cooked at its best it is hard to beat Reel Deal. I was there on a Monday night and had the choice of Monkfish , Haddock , Whiting and Calamari. You might be kept waiting for a while but thats totally understandable. Long queue on that night is testament to the great food that they are serving up.
