29/06/2025: Hello, I'm not one to make these kinds of public complaints, but I think all foreigners in Ireland, and especially in Dublin, should be very careful and aware of where we are and the human scum among the Irish, of whom I assume there are also many good people. It turns out that yesterday, June 28th, my partner and I stopped for lunch at the Wowburger on Westford Street, not really knowing what we were getting into. We are a Spanish couple from Seville, Andalusia, both over 30 years old and with rather dark skin, which is quite normal there. The place was empty, so we decided to order lunch around 3:30 p.m. When we were served, about five minutes later, about four middle-aged Irish guys came in, making a lot of noise and displaying the usual manners... They sat relatively close, and aside from the excessive noise and poor manners (which can be tolerated as normal in a burger joint), they started looking at us and commenting on their own language (as if their mouths were twisted and all that)... A very bad vibe was already starting to develop... Well, before my partner and I had even finished the burger, about 25-30 beings of light, like the ones I described at the beginning, gathered in the "restaurant." Guys in their thirties, like the "hooligans" you always see on the news... I'm a 6'11" man, heavyset, with a beard and dark hair. I never pick a fight with anyone. I've always dedicated myself to studying and working, but I've dealt with many types of difficult people (I've worked security for 13 years) and I knew I was in trouble... because these "men" started hovering around our table and continued speaking "animatedly" in their language. My partner didn't notice, since her back was turned, so I told her about the situation that was developing, and she told me I should go to the bathroom... While she went to the bathroom, I couldn't take my eyes off my cell phone, sensing that any glance would be an excuse for the 30 guys gathered around my table (yes, more had come) to try to humiliate us at best, or destroy me at worst, and God knows what else with my wife. Well, it turns out my wife didn't come back from the bathroom (she later told me she had a problem with the door and got locked in) and she didn't come back. And well, although she was very Nervous, I stoically held my ground and looked up, as everyone started laughing, and one of them, standing right in front of me, turned around and looked at me. When I looked, they were all there, from every table (I emphasize, only "Irish" men with those looks we all know), staring at me and laughing their heads off. Thank God, my English isn't good enough to understand the insults they were "throwing at me." Knowing what was going to happen, I called my partner on the phone, in case he had any problems, and thank God, he appeared, his face white, seeing what was happening (we've never experienced a situation like this), and with all the dignity we could muster, we left as if nothing had happened. And nothing, this was just because I have somewhat dark skin and speak Spanish... Thanks to my lack of English, they left me alone, thinking I was "dumb," and we left feeling only humiliated. But I tell you, friends, If I take the bait, they'll kill me, and we're talking about men over 30, not those gang members everyone talks about... 25/06/2025: Have been going here over 10 years food was always excellent and service was to! But gone down hill quality of food now is appalling I used the delivery service quite a lot and as a family of 5 our it’s always a bite order so got our delivery chips where soggy and oily 5 burgers and onion rings where all cold an had to be put in the microwave Which was disappointing my daughters ordered 3 milkshakes and they never came so rang up to complain about the food and why we didn’t get the full order and was told we would have to wait another 40 minutes for milkshakes but staff member was so rude I told him l was a long time customer but he didn’t care I ask to speak with the manager but was told she was on holiday till the following week so he took my number and said he would definitely look after us on the next order for free and said manager would contact me but didn’t rang again to order the following week as was told to and they said no they didn’t hear anything and would get the manager to phone me so didn’t get any call so I have given them a chance to resolve the matter but they didn’t So that’s why I’m leaving this review I won’t be ordering from them again and neither will my friends and family !

02/07/2025: As usually kids wanted have a happy meal especially when the popular you is in the box , so I will make a standard review as I can , I fly all around the world and without much time having this habit to eat occasionally, what I can say that here is not the best example , so the oil where they do fries is very old because it’s terrible , the taste is not potato it’s old and bad , the only stuff and you actually can eat is new burger arch , and a coffee it’s not very good but you still can drink it , eat inside no napkins where possible to get and service officiant from till didn’t give any , and I didn’t make any picture to not spoil appetite but this place is not clean , not at all especially the bathroom , irony that they lock it on password but it’s still very , very , very dirty …so please add there some stuff because the location is great but obviously the place not running at level that it’s need to be , I just think that maybe should read what customers write here as the are many not good things …and on optimistic note , If you ever find yourself lost in Dublin, just follow the scent of chips and the sound of teenagers arguing over who ordered the last McFlurry. The local McDonald's is less of a fast-food joint and more of a cultural hub — part café, part youth centre, part accidental tourist attraction. You haven’t truly experienced Dublin until you’ve queued behind a lad ordering 20 chicken nuggets while giving life advice to the staff. It’s the only place where your Big Mac comes with a side of banter and a story you didn’t ask for — but you'll definitely remember.

03/06/2025: I've been in a lot of McDonalds over the country, from ones in the Northside to Southside. Somehow this one is one of most offensive. Somehow they were out of soft drinks... all of them, which is a pretty big nail in the coffin but the store was also not clean. Usually McDonalds are cleaned very well but not this branch it seems. This one has food all over the floor, almost every table had something under it, some tables had stuff on them. Seemed very understaffed, so comparing the service to other McDonalds I frequent, this one obviously isn't good, but passable at least. Despite a few people in line the food didn't take that long to be served, and wasn't all that bad, I have had worse. Food was warm but not too hot, and was cooked well. All in all rather disappointed by what Blackrock's McDonalds had to offer.
