15/02/2025: During my stay at the College Green Hotel, I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Morelands Grill. The experience was fantastic, with a wide variety of options, including scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, mushrooms, pastries, cereals, and yogurts. The seating area was comfortable and inviting, and the food was excellent. They also offer a customizable menu, allowing guests to order specific dishes to their preference. The staff was exceptional, providing great service and making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a highly recommended breakfast spot!

21/12/2024: Excellent dinner experience for me. Top shelf service, atmosphere and the dinner was perfection. Considered other local venues I had visited during my stay but chose Morelands. Worth a visit if in Dublin.

12/05/2025: Got shown to our table and then they forgot about us. We had to call somebody to take our order. There was plenty of staff but they were all busy chatting to each other and avoiding eye contact with waiting customers. This is a recurring theme here. If you want service, you have to chase it. Staff are highly mobile but need training in being attentive to customers looking to order food and drinks ( you know, the two reasons the place exists). Chilli con carne eventually arrived and it was barely warm. Chicken tenders were overdone. Caesar salad was good. Fries were ok . A disappointing afternoon all round.

09/05/2025: Mixed feelings about the food here. My previous burger experience was disappointing, but the recent fajitas were really good! The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was a definite plus. Overall, giving 3 stars. Hopefully the burgers got better, will try them again next time, if they are better I'll increase the stars

28/05/2025: Captain America's, Grafton Street: A Former Favourite Falls From Grace It's with a heavy heart that I write this review for Captain America's on Grafton Street, a restaurant that was once my go-to for good food and excellent service in the heart of Dublin. For years, whether it was a quiet meal with my wife or a lively gathering with family and friends, Captain America's consistently delivered. Sadly, my most recent visit revealed a drastic decline, making it clear that Captain America is well and truly dead. The decline seems to have coincided with the departure of Fatima, a truly remarkable individual who greeted us on countless occasions. She managed the operation like a general, ensuring seamless service, perfectly prepared food, and a fantastic atmosphere. It's evident now that the high standards my family and I cherished left with her. Our recent family gathering of five was a stark contrast to previous visits. Upon arrival, the noticeable quietness of the usually bustling restaurant was the first red flag. Despite only about five other tables being occupied, our order took over 30 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, some dishes were cold and had to be sent back – not a good start at all. However, the real disappointment lay in the food itself. The New Yorker burger, once a favourite, was an utter disaster. It looked as if it had been "mugged in New York" rather than carefully constructed. With flat, lifeless lettuce, an amateurishly cooked egg, and a patty that tasted like the sole of an old shoe, it was arguably the worst burger I've had in Dublin City. The chicken wings were hard, and another chicken dish was dry and unappetizing. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. It gives me no pleasure to say this, but I wholeheartedly recommend you avoid Captain America's on Grafton Street at all costs. This restaurant is a prime example of how to run a once-great establishment into the ground. Fatima, if you're reading this, you are sorely missed. I sincerely hope your new employer (if you're still in the industry) truly appreciates your exceptional talent. It's obvious that you were the heart of what was once a truly great diner. It's such a letdown when a place with sentimental value disappoints.

27/03/2025: Very spacious restaurant with very friendly staff who are very quick delivering the food. I got my usual chicken breast sandwich meal and have no complaints. Only reason for low review is the state of the bathrooms, feels almost like a prison. Very convenient location, will be back again!

12/04/2025: it was good but the problem was that there wasn’t so much space inside (we were 8) and that you couldn’t choose cream cheese and little tomatoes or avocado because if you did, you had to pay 1,50€ extra more than the cost of the bowl… however what I had was really nice and tasty and I recommend if you like poke
