The best restaurantsof american in Dublin

10/11/2024: Be prepared, it is really a small restaurant and gets very crowded. I guess about 15 tables total. Book your table in advance! Very cozy and homey atmosphere. The service and the food were top notch! I highly recommend melanzane, Sicilian style vegan pasta and from main courses beef fillet and ribeye dishes. The wine selection was very good!

03/11/2024: We booked this without having any referral…great find! The prawns and chicken wings starters were a hit…and both my husband and step-son enjoyed their Tomahawks whilst my step-daughter and I loved our steak burgers. We never order dessert….but all did and they were superb! It was progressively busier as the evening wore on…clearly a popular choice!

02/11/2024: We got married in The Mayson in Nov 2023 and went back for our anniversary in 2024 and were treated like royalty by all the staff but Jev in particular who served us in Ryleigh's was incredibly professional while also being warm and welcoming. And that's before we even mention the food. Always great and the atmosphere always matches. Highly recommend Ryleigh's for food, (including breakfast!) alongside The Mayson hotel itself. 15/11/2024: Encore un de ces pubs de classe. Vous avez d'une part les pubs où coulent la bière au son des musiques celtes et qui ont un charme indéniable. Et puis vous avez les pubs où tout respire une ambiance feutrée, douce avec une lumière tamisée où seul le bar semble une illusion illuminée. Décor top, personnel sympathique et efficace et une prestation culinaire de très bon niveau. C'est dans l'assiette que l'on a compris que cet établissement fait la part belle aux meilleures viandes (avec une armoire à maturation). Leur publicité tourne autour de la viande de qualité et la prestation est à la hauteur. Rarement mangé une viande aussi succulente avec une cuisson milimétrée. Un excellent moment terminé avec un Irish Coffe de grande classe dans sa présentation. Très belle étape culinaire que nous conseillons vivement si vous êtes à Christchurch ou au musée Dublinia.

23/11/2024: We went for the share platter for 2 which had the spicy duck wings (fall off the bone tender and flavouful), ribeye steak grilled to perfection- rare and the lobster roll (it was nice but our least favourite on the platter). 2 Sides included truffle/parmesan fries and cashew coleslaw were perfect accompaniment. Dessert included was a build your own cheesecake, unique twist to add 3 choice of toppings. Overall delicious meal. Diego was our server and he was all smiles and very attentive and made sure we had everything and helped us through our selection. He had a very busy section and was constantly checking on everyone. No one was left unattended. Great service! The atmosphere was great but found it a bit chilly and as it got crowded the noise level got a bit too much so conversation was limited to those with big voices. Overall I would recommend it as a very good food and service and I would certainly go back again.

22/11/2024: Brilliant experience! From the moment we entered, to the moment we left, all the staff (especially Wevevton - apologies if that is spelt wrong) were fantastic. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was brilliant and we had a thoroughly lovely evening. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Dublin.

22/10/2024: Still one of my all time favourites. This place delivers consistently good food and the staff are great. Any time I've been there it has been busy. Bar downstairs is staffed by real bar men who know their trade. John often says makes his way around the tables at the weekend too which is a nice touch. A must for a treat in my opinion.

15/10/2024: I’ve been dining at Shanahan’s for nearly 20 years, and it’s always been our “special place.” However, our recent visit was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. One of my friend’s steaks was overcooked, and when she politely mentioned it to the waiter, he was dismissive and handled the situation poorly. Although the steak was eventually replaced, the delay left her with cold sides and the rest of us had finished eating by the time it arrived. On top of this, we were rushed off our table, and after waiting ages for a cocktail that never came, the staff had an unprofessional exchange in front of us. Worse still, when we expressed our concerns, Mr. Shanahan himself confronted us aggressively, accusing us of “wanting a free dinner” in front of the entire restaurant. His behavior was intimidating, unprofessional, and left two of my friends in tears. We were so shaken that we left without finishing our meal. This was not the Shanahan’s service we’ve known and loved, and we left feeling horrified and deeply disappointed. This happened on 3/12/22 the experience was so horrific I’m now only able to do the review

11/11/2024: AVOID! Visiting this "authentic Italian" restaurant in Dublin was a disaster. Left waiting at the door, and none of the staff spoke Italian, which felt misleading. We orderdered pasta which was overly priced and not great, oysters, and wine, only to get severe food poisoning two days later, forcing us to miss flights back to NYC, with one friend nearly hospitalized. With by the way—no apology or concern for the health risk at all. Overpriced, unhygienic, and indifferent to customer safety—AVOID at all costs.

15/10/2024: Really nice brunch here, food came quickly and was super filling. I was surprised that they only had filter coffee but it was also quite tasty so no issues. Prices do let them down as I was really shocked to be charged €4 for each small cup of black coffee, that is more than you would pay for a cappuccino or latte in some places. I would still come back to try something else as the food was really good! But the price of the coffee left a sour taste in my mouth, €4 for a tiny cup of black coffee was a surprise and not nice to feel you have been ripped off.

13/11/2024: Every interaction with the team here was positive. Considering it was a busy Saturday this makes it even more impressive. Nothing was problem. Compliments to all who work here. Thank you all. They were excellent.Would highly recommend.
