12/07/2025: Just wanted to show my love for the staff at Darwin's the wago burger and sea bass we both had were absolutely awesome . special shout out to the Dublin lady. ( Long black hair ). She was one of the most professional hospitality hosts I've seen in years . I only work up the street in a pub myself so wanted to give you guys a mention . We will be back .. . Top food great prices .

15/07/2025: We went on a tour and were recommended to eat at any FX Buckley steakhouse if we could. It just so happened that we walked past Bull & Castle on my husband's birthday and decided to stop in. We were advised that there weren't any tables available, however, they offered a limited menu on the top floor which included some of their steak options. We decided to give it a try. We ordered appetizers which were pretty good, (sausage and the beef croquets) although portions were scarce. For dinner we ordered two ribeye dinners and a hamburger. The ribeyes were terrible. They were tough and chewy. We were completely disappointed. The hamburger was good. The best thing about this place were their fries, believe it or not. They are very thick cut but unlike mushy steak fries, they were fried to perfection and very delicious. The waiter was a bit standoffish at first, but, he was actually quite friendly as the dinner went on and had a pleasant conversation with us. I'd like to point out that I never really leave reviews, especially negative ones. However, I think it's necessary to inform when places like this have steep prices and pride themselves on a very niche menu. Overall, as a family, we decided that this place was overrated and not worth the money spent on our meal.

14/07/2025: The place overlooks Christchurch with a great view. I order the 16oz bone-in sirloin – excellent meat (highly recommended), although slightly on the salty side, as were the onions served on the side. A more self-managed approach to seasoning would be better. Average-priced bill. Recommended.

03/06/2025: Sadly I will no be returning to jds steak house ever again. The new management is terrible. As he was giving out to staff and rolling his eyes at the lovely waitress . The food has gone a little down hill, I ordered the madalions of beef . And the dish looked like 3 strips of bacon.🥓. To be honest a Bacon strip would be twice as thick.. very disappointed with that. The ribs for starters where nice. And my children enjoyed the wing's and fish. We had 4 early bird dishes and the meal came to 180 euro. expensive for an early bird menu to be honest . And remember you will be ask to leave after 30 minutes of eating.witch was not ideal

19/07/2025: We are blessed to be diners of very good Italian food all over thr US and UK This small but Vibrant authentic Italian restaurant is off the hook good! Especially since it's nestled in the Temple Bar area of Dublin surrounded by Irish pubs! Who knew? We have been and will keep coming back everything delicious so dont miss out!!!

19/07/2025: We went for breakfast, but unfortunately, it fell far short of our expectations. I ordered Eggs Idaho, which came with just two reheated sausages, two eggs, a few mashed potatoes, and a few tomatoes. It cost €14.95. My friend had Eggs Chiapas, which were cold corn tortillas topped with a bit of invisible guacamole, refried beans, cheese, bacon, and two eggs. We paid €17.50 for this plate! We also tried two mocktails, each €7.80, but they were so sour we couldn't even drink them. Overall, we weren't satisfied. We don't plan on going back for breakfast. Most of the tables around us had ordered main courses, so they're probably more for lunch than breakfast. There are only 15-20 tables inside, so the fact that it looks crowded can be misleading.

19/07/2025: I'm coeliac and had pre booked and informed of that fact. We arrived and the person who seated us included an allergen list. It's a bit of a faff as the list goes in conjunction with the menu and lists what is gf, but did not describe the dish so you have to refer back and forth between the 2. A different woman came to take our orders and she was rude and unhelpful. I was going to order a burger and asked about the chips. She just said cross contamination - no explanation or further info and said I could have mash. Mash with a burger was not appealing to me so I said I'll pick an omelette. At this point she had stopped listening to me and started asking my husband about his order. He referred back to me as I was ready, she had just shut me down before I could speak again. I found it very uncomfortable. I'm not trying to be awkward but I have a condition which can only be managed by being careful with food. I was not rude to her and I was not trying to waste her time but really was made to feel like I was. Luckily the person who brought our order was not her and we did not see her again. What we ordered was nice but a bit small for the price.

13/07/2025: Excellent food. I've eaten here 20+ times. Never a bad dish. It's flavour and it's a takeaway. There are a few stools at the window to sit and eat. Everyone seems to flood this location and with good reason. If you are fussy about chicken and you want excellent quality make sure you hit up the breat in bun range.

19/07/2025: We had a delicious meal. My monkfish was fabulously cooked and my mother's scallop tagliatelle she thought was scrumptious. The view was amazing and the staff were friendly and welcoming. This restaurant comes highly recommended. Thank you especially to Clodagh Our lovely waitress and Pedro for being so welcoming
