Scotty's Famous Burgers & Wings

06/03/2025: I brought my three hungry nephews to Scotty's on a recent Sunday afternoon/evening. The youngest in our group has dietary allergies which I flagged when I called ahead to make the reservation. Jenny was very helpful on the phone and said to let the server know when we arrived.
All of the team who looked after us were very friendly, Jenny was on hand when we were there and she really went to great lengths to make sure the dietary restrictions were considered. I couldn't have asked for better service in this regard.
Our food was very good. The 'small' nachos were plenty big for 3 of us to share before we got our mains of burgers, ribs and grilled chicken. The boys were delighted with their rocky mountain brownie and sundaes for dessert. 10/10.
I've been coming to Scotty's since the '90s and their place in Middle St. They serve up consistently good food with great service. We'll be back again no doubt.
01/03/2025: Just dined at Scotty,s with my family, for my Birthday. As always, the Food and the Service were second to none. It would be a real challenge to find a better place to eat in Galway. Great food nice atmosphere, Staff always kind and happy to help you in any way they can.

10/02/2025: Very delicious food and at a good price, so it met our expectations in that sense. I didn't like that the cutlery was made of plastic. The place is quite simple. There is no terrace. I don't recommend the onion rings, but the rest is very good.

Tuve ribeye con una patata al horno.
No deberías esforzarte en cortar un filete mediano. De alguna manera logró cremar la grasa circundante en una textura casi cecinada, para ser honesto, todo el exterior de la piel estaba tan seco que casi se cura. Aún así me las arreglé para ser rosa dentro de lo cual me emborracha un poco.
La papa al horno parecía que podía canjearla, pero las esperanzas se desvanecieron cuando noté que la piel era dura como el cuero y no era comestible.
Un colega había disfrutado de su comida allí ayer y esa es probablemente la única razón por la que no anoté un 1 y pasé parte de ella a una noche libre.
19/02/2025: Our dining experience at the restaurant was not great, as my boyfriend had stomach problems the next day, although we did enjoy the meal itself. The food was tasty but not worth the price. We also booked a table in advance to ensure we had a good seat on 14th of February but we were given a table in the corner near the emergency exit, which was drafty and lacked atmosphere. For the price, we expected a better experience. However, the waitress who served us was friendly.
