02/11/2024: From the moment we arrived to the moment we left(one night) the service was excellent. The rooms were amazing and the dinner we had was extremely supreme. Very friendly staff and the atmosphere was lovely. A lovely stay. A memory that will last a life time

10/11/2024: Worst food in Ireland. I guess they think it’s ok to trick the tourists because they are not going to return anyway. A Complete rip off. Nice Pub but went somewhere else for a pint afterwards because the food was so bad. One star for the atmosphere which was created by the tourists. Next time I am in Bunratty I will try the place across the road for food. Had to get a burger somewhere else on the way home.

18/11/2024: Came here in Nov/2024, low season and the entire place was very quiet. I was able to casually walk around at my own pace.
18/11/2024: Absolutely amazing place to visit. So much history and atmosphere in one place.
Lovely helpful staff, Great tea and cakes.

27/11/2024: This is a restaurant that I loved coming to, but this time will probably be my last, the food was good the portions were very small, last Christmas I ordered the black sole €32 and it filled my plate, last week I ordered the John Dory €36 and it was the size of a sardine, to say I was disappointed is an understatement.
I can't understand restaurants serving small portions of food at and very high cost and think its okay,
22/09/2024: Wonderful! The food. The staff. Everything. Better than the Michelin star restaurant we dined in last night in Dingle. A must.

08/12/2024: This place is awesome. Yes it is a total tourist trap but it is full of locals with good stories to share. The food is incredible.
07/12/2024: Experience very very disappointing. Seated at 5pm. Waited at least 1 hour 30 mins for food. Didn’t take orders for dessert and we had to ask tea and coffees. Two tables that came in after us got served before us! Special occasion ruined

15/12/2024: the racism is crazy!! They lied that they don’t serve food when they do, and was completely taking the piss out of me. The atmosphere was completely uncomfortable and unfriendly. Never in my 30 years have I experienced such treatment. Will never return. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

23/06/2024: Grabbed a quick coffee prior to going into the castle. Not much for gluten free food options.
30/05/2024: We ate here while visiting the castle. It's located between the gift shop and admissions into the castle.
The food was reasonable (menu includes options such as sandwiches, quiche, soup etc) but as others have commented, no prices were visible. So we don't actually know what each individual item cost. We paid €40 for lunch for three.
There are around 20 tables here.
