04/02/2025: As we didn’t stay I can’t rate rooms but evening dinner and hospitality was exceptionally. Fine dining at its finest and the food was incredible 🤤👌🏻 and very reasonable price wise for what you get. A must go and I’ll definitely be returning for another meal soon 🙏🏻

19/02/2025: I came into the restaurant and i was told by a man to take a seat at a table, then a lady came over just as i was about to sit down and with a very rude tone and attitude, ‘you alright??’ To which I said yes and was about to tell her we were told to sit here but she interrupted me by saying ‘It’s just there’s a sign saying to wait’ her tone the entire time was so rude and I was shocked along with my parents, we left the restaurant and went to the one across the street where we were taken care of much better and the food was amazing! I would not be going back to the durty Nellie.

Traditional Irish Night-Cornbarn at Bunratty Folk Park

19/02/2025: This was a great experience well worth going to see, especially if you have an interest in irish history, irish society in the past, or want to be nostalgic about your own experience of the past. Perfect for all generations. They have a great playground for kids between five and twelve, a nature walk with a fairy named Ellie and animals to see. The guy playing the police man is very good, so knowledgeable and passionate about irish history. A great day out for all. The castle itself is amazing, so we'll be preserved and quite fascinating. Really enjoyed it.

The starters & mains were all outstanding, along with the service. Would really recommend. We will be back.

23/06/2024: Grabbed a quick coffee prior to going into the castle. Not much for gluten free food options.
30/05/2024: We ate here while visiting the castle. It's located between the gift shop and admissions into the castle.
The food was reasonable (menu includes options such as sandwiches, quiche, soup etc) but as others have commented, no prices were visible. So we don't actually know what each individual item cost. We paid €40 for lunch for three.
There are around 20 tables here.
