16/12/2024: Very nice atmosphere. Service was quick, friendly, accommodating.
Food was good, we especially liked the pepper sauce with the steak.

29/12/2024: Used to have great toasties here. But their toasties have really gone downhill. They don't even bother to use butter in them anymore. Last time we went the toasties were dried out and left a lot to be desired.
Please go back to how you used to make them.
Will change back to 5* when you fix the toasties.
Very good, albeit expensive, selection of specialty food available in the shop.
11/12/2024: Lovely shop, can see the waterfall from just around the corner. Had some tea, coffee, and a lovely chat with the owner. Hope we can return to visit one day!

04/10/2024: One of the best bakeries we have ever visited. We are from Spain and stopped by after being drawn to it. Upon entering, we were welcomed by a charming German couple. They were delightful, and the place had a warm, family atmosphere that made conversation enjoyable. They were wonderful and even prepared coffee for us to take away. Additionally, the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the pastries and coffee. We highly recommend it for anyone passing through the town, and we will definitely return one day.
21/09/2024: iontach 🤩 the best bakery in Ireland. Apple strudel is 2nd to none - I’ve German friends who travel here for it. Unglert and his wife are beautify talented people

18/01/2025: We came expressly to dine at this place and it is closed. According to Google it was open and there is no "closed" sign either.
06/01/2025: Have been here several times and whilst the food is usually decent, I’m always disappointed by the level of cleanliness.
This time we ate inside and I noticed that the same spider web and spider was in the bathroom that had been there a month previously.
Tabletops and floors were similarly grubby but the staff member seemed to ignore this and was happy to do anything else. This place desperately needs a manager. It’s quite flakey and service is very hit or miss which is a pity because it could be fantastic.

01/11/2024: I didn't find a breakfast room as I read on other reviews, but I bought an Apple pie and a scones. They were excellent. Especially scones which tend to be a ball of dough, whereas theirs maintained an excellent balance between the crunchy outside and the center which remains cooked but moist thanks to the generous portion of raisins

22/12/2024: Had this takeaway about a year ago and got it again last night. I was pleased to find that the standard has only been raised from the already very high standard last year. We have eaten in famous restaurants such as Dishoom and the Indian dishes offered in Mr. Kebab can hold their weight against any. Pleasant driver and food arrived in good time. 10/10

24/09/2024: We had a great stay at Grovemount House. Our room was large and spacious with incredible views of the sunset. We loved hearing the cows in the pasture in the evening. It is close to lots of attractions and the towns of Ennistimon and Lehinch for shopping and restaurants. The hosts were the nicest people we have ever met. We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
08/08/2024: A disappointment. From the outside the place wouldn't be bad either, unfortunately the inside is all very old from the rooms to the bathrooms to the furnishings without even breakfast. Definitely expensive. The property is now for sale
