20/04/2025: fantastic to find a place in Ireland that serves perfectly prepared Breton galettes, excellent flavours, delicious place and friendly staff, average prices.

25/04/2025: This is the hotel everyone should stay in in Ireland. The warmest of welcomes, the loveliest of staff, a beautiful location. We come here time and time again and always enjoy it. Stayed for Christmas 2024 and again for Easter 2015 having stayed many times before. We love it.. it’s just the most perfect of places. Stayed in the hotel and the apartments as a family of 4. We just feel so relaxed and happy here. Just book it!

20/04/2025: Super lovely lady behind the bar! Ordered an Irish coffee and she gave lots of tips on what to look out for! Really enjoyed our time spent there and overall really great pub!

05/01/2025: Brilliant pub. Great atmosphere, pints were gorgeous and Joan behind the bar was incredibly nice. Even went out of her way to help dry our clothes after coming in.

08/04/2025: Lovely food (cheese toastie of course), coffee and lots of local products from books, cards to cheeses and drinks. Very friendly staff as well.

30/03/2025: Nice little place with very good coffee. The cheese toastie and pies were ok. Not bad but not great either. The cheese toastie wasn't cheesy enough and was overpowered by the other ingredients but each to there own.

10/05/2025: This bar has delicious pizza and beer. Very good coffee. They have a wonderful outdoor area by the river but unfortunately it is only open in the evening and only in good weather. It took me a while for everything to coincide and I was able to visit their area by the river. Everything was great

04/05/2025: Lovely atmosphere, warm & welcoming staff. Manager Conor was very informative. Fire in the stove & the wonderful guitar musician really added to our experience. Our mearls were excellent, Seabass mains & homemade lemon posset & tiramisu. Good coffee & lovely french white wine topped off our meals. We will definifsly return to Byrne's.

29/04/2025: My friend and I went to Byrnes restaurant in Ennistymon. We got a table looking out at the falls, weather was lovely. Conor the manager came down and introduced himself. We looked at the menu and we both ordered the Thai fish cakes and Seafood chowder from the starter menu. The Thai fish cakes came with a salad and sirachi mayo, they were delicious. Then we had the Seafood chowder which was even more delicious, loads of fish in it. We decided to have dessert and my friend had Baileys cheesecake and I had Berry and apple crumble, it was yummy. They also have a vintage shop. I just want to say that the restaurant was lovely, Staff and Manager were so friendly and compliments to the Head Chef and his staff for the gorgeous food. We will definitely be going back again. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and families.

01/11/2024: I didn't find a breakfast room as I read on other reviews, but I bought an Apple pie and a scones. They were excellent. Especially scones which tend to be a ball of dough, whereas theirs maintained an excellent balance between the crunchy outside and the center which remains cooked but moist thanks to the generous portion of raisins
