16/04/2025: We were passing through and came to the restaurant more or less by chance. The food and the view was wonderful. The only thing that was a bit of a shame was that we seemed to be forgotten towards the end. We would have liked to order another dessert. But since it was just before closing time, we think that was the reason. Highly recommended!
30/03/2025: We went here for dinner and it was excellent and great value. I had ceviche, steak and a posset and enjoyed the lot. Service was also very friendly.

26/03/2025: Attended a wedding here last weekend and wow what a hotel! The rooms are fabulous and I would say they have been recently remodelled. The service, food and spa are all top tier! Will return for sure

01/11/2024: I didn't find a breakfast room as I read on other reviews, but I bought an Apple pie and a scones. They were excellent. Especially scones which tend to be a ball of dough, whereas theirs maintained an excellent balance between the crunchy outside and the center which remains cooked but moist thanks to the generous portion of raisins

18/03/2025: Kebab was disgusting. God knows what they put in it. You can tell this stuff is processed meat & god knows what else.. Plus the prices are way to expensive. Never again.
22/12/2024: Had this takeaway about a year ago and got it again last night. I was pleased to find that the standard has only been raised from the already very high standard last year. We have eaten in famous restaurants such as Dishoom and the Indian dishes offered in Mr. Kebab can hold their weight against any. Pleasant driver and food arrived in good time. 10/10

Grovemount House

24/09/2024: We had a great stay at Grovemount House. Our room was large and spacious with incredible views of the sunset. We loved hearing the cows in the pasture in the evening. It is close to lots of attractions and the towns of Ennistimon and Lehinch for shopping and restaurants. The hosts were the nicest people we have ever met. We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
08/08/2024: A disappointment. From the outside the place wouldn't be bad either, unfortunately the inside is all very old from the rooms to the bathrooms to the furnishings without even breakfast. Definitely expensive. The property is now for sale
