27/11/2025: This is a big cold, but they have the best sausage roll in all of Ireland. No greasy, or cheap sausage meat…full of rich flavour and delicious flaky pastry.
The Portuguese Pastel de Nata, straight out of the oven was better than any I have had in Portugal…well at least as good as!
Great coffee as well! Friendly people!

30/10/2025: Went in here recently ordered a Guinness and a vodka and sprite from the blonde younglad behind the bar(who was busy chatting and took ages to acknowledge me) .My wife poured some of the sprite into the vodka and took a sip.She asked me to taste.No taste of vodka at all(she normally checks before pouring the mixer if we are in a bar for the first time)Guinness wasn't great so we left and made our way to Frawleys and had a great night.
27/10/2025: One of the best pub grub lunch’s we’ve had in a long time . Figured because we’re near the sea we’ll have to pick the sea food lunch , we weren’t disappointed . Food tasted amazing . Had the Thai style mussels and clams and prawn pot .
Great size portions . Staff real friendly , kid friendly . They serve a good Guinness and a wicked good irish coffee .
To bonus it off the background music was a Waterboys playlist 👌👌

17/11/2025: Really good! Had a great, proper espresso and the loaded sourdough that I had was amazing, so flavourful and well spiced. It was a real standout meal on my Ireland trip!

03/11/2025: We visited as a group of 7 whilst visiting Co Clare on a short break.
Our experience was mostly very good, the chowder was excellent, the vol-au-vents, pasta dish and fish were very good, however the burgers were dry and chewy, edible non the less but the only downside.

09/10/2025: After a long days travel from Dublin this was just what I needed. The waitress was top notch when I asked about the different beers and I tried a local IPA. Service was also superfast and the food came in almost as quick.

24/10/2025: This is the place to stay when visiting Lahinch. Less than a 5-minute walk to both the town and Lahinch GC. Onsite restaurant is excellent for both breakfast and dinner, and the staff is marvelous.

05/11/2025: We were there on holiday. We had a salami pizza and tortillas with dips, all topped with melted cheese. The tortillas were nice and warm. There were several layers of cheese between the tortillas, and on top were three different dips, two of each in generous portions. It was very plentiful. The salami pizza was well-topped, and the size was excellent for the price. All in all, we were very satisfied.

01/10/2025: We were on holiday passing through Lahinch and selected The Edge for an early dinner at the recommendation of the owner of (or a worker in) Sue’s Lahinch Limited clothing store. It was an excellent dining experience, from the service, atmosphere, cleanliness and timing. But what’s most memorable for me and my husband was the SEAFOOD CHOWDER!! It is quite literally the best soup I’ve ever had in a restaurant! I am certain, the next time we visit Ireland we’ll plan a few days in Lahinch for sole purpose of enjoying the seafood chowder, oh and dining experience too! Kudos to the chef and the creator of the recipe. Know that I will be craving your soup from Ohio, likely for the rest of my life 😍. Well Done!!

30/08/2025: We had a round at Lahinch Golf club and one of the caddies recommended we head to Frawley’s bar after the round for a “proper pint.” We had the best creamy pint of our trip and had an absolute incredible experience. The owner of the bar, Peter, sat with us telling stories, and spent time explaining how to properly pour a pint of Guinness. Shout out to the locals who we had so much fun with, and to Thomas N in particular who could actually be the Irish Shivas Irons.
This was a supper fun and welcoming bar where you can get a proper pint. I absolutely recommend to anyone in Lahinch.

29/09/2025: Great hotel in a fantastic location.
We had a fantastic trip to Lahinch in September 2025. The hotel is location 5 mins walk from Lahinch but in a very quiet location. The host (Thomas) was great and we had a lovely breakfast each morning with homemade brown bread.
Will definitely be back.
03/09/2025: Proximity to Lahinch Golf Club and town pubs is a big part of what makes this place great. Rooms are small and dated. Thomas the proprietor is service-ortieted!! Stay here every time I go to Lahinch.
