12/03/2024: Excellent accomodation! We travelled with an 8 month and 4 year old, Maria and the team made sure we were very well looked after. The room was spacious, quiet and cleaned everyday, we had complimentary cookies on arrival for the kids, the breakfast the next morning was top notch and we were allowed to book a suitable time before open! The B&B is the in centre of everything with a gorgeous pier view, food in the restaurant below was delicious. We will definitely come here again and highly recommend to others who would like to visit Castletownbere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The coffees were okay-ish, not up to the pretty high Irish barista standard.
What took the biscuit was the price & quality of the ordered cakes: €6 per piece for a stale brownie and a dripping sweet lemon drizzle cake — and no reaction by staff when pointing out the mismatch.
The other reviews suggest a more pleasant experience with meals; we didn't feel compelled to return.

17/09/2023: Lovely bar. We availed of the food from chefs table across the road. You can go there and order your food and they will deliver it to the bar to you. Fantastic idea.

19/11/2023: I thought our trip to castletownbere couldn't get any better.....then we went to the tea room......this experience was just perfect!!! We were full after an amazing lunch but just had to try some of the homemade treats behind the counter...the hummingbird cake was like nothing I've ever had.......it was so amazing we went back to try different food and treats on our second day....well done and thank you Lorna for looking after us so well, you are a one of a kind type of lady and we can't wait to come back and try more of your amazing cooking....
