08/01/2026: Came here for the Fish & Chips we enjoyed a year ago. Unfortunately, the waiting staff was extremely unmotivated. (Gave us a drinking cup: "what is that?" "I don't know, I don't pour the drinks")
Really takes some of the fun out of going out to eat.
Chips were a bit overfried, mushy peas bland. I liked the fish, even though it was not exactly obvious to me whether I actually got the "larger" fillet as described for "Dino's Special".

27/09/2025: Oh what a delicious burger I had! Best in years! The smoke burger is very saucy and delicious 🫶🏻 very good customer service and it was ready in less than 15min. Open until late and will save your cravings on a weekend night.
13/08/2025: Currently on the wild Atlantic way and stopped here for food the prices are great the food tastes lovely and the service is fast , friendly and efficient would recommend to anyone visiting kinsale

01/02/2026: Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and very helpful and smiley staff. Accidentally we left something valuable at the table and they kept it safe for us to return and collect it. We really enjoyed our visit to this lovely place. Will definitely come back again in the future.

07/09/2025: I ate here recently with a group of friends and I was very excited but left extremely frustrated and disappointed. The service was very slow the manager seemed flustered and was very passive aggressive to the young waitress and our table as well. We waited over an hour for our main and all the other tables seemed to be getting seen to and served before us. We asked for a dip that never came. We had to ask for our bill twice as the manager just ignored our request the first time. The food as well was rather flavourless and wasn’t exactly as described on menu. The young waitress was very nice and was doing her best. I simply will not be returning here in the future. Very disappointed!!!!
21/07/2025: The owner of this restaurant must be the rudest most unwelcoming person we have ever encountered. We were left standing in a busy restaurant for 20 minutes and completely ignored despite having made a booking. We then waited another 30 minutes to have our order taken.
I was shocked to see the way the owner was speaking to people who were coming in to see if a table was available. She truly treats every customer as an inconvenience.
When we were waiting for dessert we overheard the owner telling the staff to take our order fast as she has another booking coming in. This delay was completely their fault. I ordered wine with dessert which was completely ignored and the bill was slapped down on our table. I believe we only got an opportunity to order dessert as it was included in the 2 course menu.
This place must be purely running on tourism because nobody in their right mind would return.

01/11/2023: i would never order from this place again. we had a large order and they forgot multiple things on the pizzas, as well as not including several sides and drinks in which we payed extra for. additionally, the burgers and such were simply not good at all - the patties were burned to crisp, practically looking like charcoal. actually, when we had walked in there to collect our food, there was smoke filling up the room to the point that it was not even safe to breathe well in there. we were coughing like crazy, i’m just glad everyone was safe and no one was hurt. when we had arrived at the allocated time of arrival, they had told us to wait for a few minutes - this crept up to being half an hour of us standing there, since the two available tables there were taken. overall, we were not impressed - this was not acceptable, at all 🔥😡😡
01/11/2023: Over all I would never go to this place again. The pizza is nice enough but still not the best. We had a big order they forgot 50% of the order , we ordered some meals with drinks and they didn’t come with chips or the drinks that we paid for and claimed to be in the meals. We ordered 2 burgers and they were burnt . When we went to pick up the order there was smoke all over the place we could smell the burnt burgers . The chips that we got were cold. I would never go here again.

06/08/2025: We first entered Fishy Fishy restaurant only to be told it was too busy which was fair enough, but the host failed to tell us about the overflow restaurant for Fishy Fishy upstairs which we stumbled across ourselves! The Blue Room :)
We had a lovely meal, Scallops and risotto were top notch as was the smoked salmon. Cocktails here also great and the lads serving were so friendly and professional.
Thanks for making our evening very pleasant! :)

03/09/2025: Took over a month to get my voucher, very disappointed had previously used the service and had no issues. This time though they took my money and I never realized until the person I sent the voucher too never mentioned receiving it .so I asked did they receive it and they hadn't a clue. After ringing and emailing Niamh and using the website forms and leaving numerous messages I eventually got a response only to say they had no recoded of it. Normally I wouldn't write these reviews but I feel it needs to be said. After a bit of back and forth eventually they came across it. Personally I wouldn't use the service again. A lot to be said for a digital voucher.
