10/03/2025: The food was excellent! Very good quality and tasty. Probably one of the best restaurant we have been in Ireland. A well decorated cosy pub restaurant.

03/03/2025: Called in this afternoon for a drink, was served by Ellie, wonderful waitress, lovely warm personality , booked for evening meal, was fabulous ! Had seafood chowder and steak, husband had pili prawns and sea bass, excellent, served by Trinity, very warm and hospitable, lovely surroundings and very enjoyable last night in Kinsale !

03/05/2025: I Just ordered 2 kids chicken nugget meals, 3x batterd sausages, and 2x chicken kebabs. (It cost 61 euros at 08:38pm)
I got x3 kebabs instead.
The food i did get was nice to be fair but the service is crap as I repeated the order to the lads in the shop when I picked it up and they said yes,
Now they won't answer the phone and I'm a 30 minute drive away.
28/04/2025: The young lady in this restaurant was so rude and unfriendly. We were ready to order pizza. She never acknowledged us. When I finally got her attention, I asked if we could sit in the restaurant and eat our pizza. She just shook her head in a negative answer. I asked her if it was closed and she said yes and just walked to the back of the restaurant. Well, you just lost a pizza sell along with a good tip. Enjoy your unfriendly pizza babe!

26/04/2025: Contemplated to be another place in kinsale where you relax, unwind & have great family time without feeling too pushy while having good food, but I was wrong. Being a resident of kinsale, would definitely not recommend this place if you want to spend some time especially with kids , because the moment you step in, the stop watch for the particular table alloted would start. Probably you would be reminded about the time alloted for the table to you, more than once at least to us. Food is ok, if you miss it, you are not missing something great from kinsale's culinary scenes, especially in the price point. Felt unwelcome. From the reservation protocol to the kitchen staffs not covering their hair while preparing food making it unimpressive leading to a high probability of no return.

Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We stumbled in on a day trip to Kinsale. Despite not having a reservation, they were able to squeeze us in. Two other couples after us were not as lucky, definitely call ahead and make a reservation. Ashley (host/bartender) walked us through the menu, made recommendations, and helped us decide on our wine for the evening. We can’t stop talking about how good the food was.

05/05/2025: a bouncer or a manager called Vincent, extremely rude and egotistical to people, shouting being unnecessarily rude, definetly needs more customer service training
18/03/2025: Arrived when it was not too busy ordered drinks and food, after 50 minutes and having to enquire about our food we were told that the order had not been processed. No proper apologies or explanation. We left feeling very disappointed.

06/01/2025: Took a few family members into Kinsale, but the experience here at this particular bar left a very bad taste in the mouth. It's bad enough the behavior and attitude of some patrons, but the staff too? I've been going to bars for a fair few years now, I don't think I have ever experienced the carry on nor the overall tone I heard and seen in the Lord Kingsale. Would not recommend on any level.

01/11/2023: i would never order from this place again. we had a large order and they forgot multiple things on the pizzas, as well as not including several sides and drinks in which we payed extra for. additionally, the burgers and such were simply not good at all - the patties were burned to crisp, practically looking like charcoal. actually, when we had walked in there to collect our food, there was smoke filling up the room to the point that it was not even safe to breathe well in there. we were coughing like crazy, i’m just glad everyone was safe and no one was hurt. when we had arrived at the allocated time of arrival, they had told us to wait for a few minutes - this crept up to being half an hour of us standing there, since the two available tables there were taken. overall, we were not impressed - this was not acceptable, at all 🔥😡😡
01/11/2023: Over all I would never go to this place again. The pizza is nice enough but still not the best. We had a big order they forgot 50% of the order , we ordered some meals with drinks and they didn’t come with chips or the drinks that we paid for and claimed to be in the meals. We ordered 2 burgers and they were burnt . When we went to pick up the order there was smoke all over the place we could smell the burnt burgers . The chips that we got were cold. I would never go here again.

11/02/2024: Close your eyes, and before you even taste a fork full, the aroma will transport you to Italy
There is no sharing of this delicious pasta in our house, its just too good and we possessively guard our plates.
So treat yourself and experience real Italian food, while still in Ireland .
