25/09/2024: Nice pub, pity about the absolute pr**k of an owner. After speaking in other pubs I found out most of the people in Kinsale feel the same about him. Hamlets pub nextdoor is a by far nicer pub.

31/10/2024: This very great location townhouse allowed us to enter the centre of the Kinsale Community so easily…the breakfast was served in a very comfortable setting and the food was very good and a nice wide variety was available…my room was very comfortable…the staff were full of great information and proved quite helpful with requested information..

02/08/2024: This has sadly been our worst experience in any restaurant/coffee shop during 2 weeks in Ireland. We entered through the café and went into the “garden”, where we were not served, not being sure if we overlooked a sign that says it’s self service. After waiting for quite a while outside we went inside and ordered our coffees there. We originally also intended to eat some cake, but they seemed a little dry and didn’t look very appealing. There were 3 employees who all didn’t seem motivated at all and were more busy with their phones or each other. Even though there were so little costumers at the café, there have been dishes on several tables outside. Outside we also had old dog-poop right next to our table/chairs and spider webs on the plants on the table and everything was quite dirty. The garden didn’t seem like anybody cared about it at all - even though it would have great potential. The coffee itself was good, but it’s a pity that this cute location isn’t managed better.

30/07/2024: The coffee was good but...... the staff were ignorant from the minute we walked in. For a dog friendly café they didn't give off that vibe when we walked in with our dog. The male who served us the coffee genuinely had one word answers and had a horrible attitude towards my wife when serving her. For the price we paid i thought we could at least enjoy the coffees but ended up talking about how rude the staff were Won't be back but I'd have a word with your staff after reading this if you do. Thank you.

26/08/2024: The owner is so kind and all the food/drinks were fantastic! We loved it so much, we got a big box of pastries to go. If we ever come back to Ireland, this Cafe and city is a place we have to visit again. Favorite stop on a 10 day journey around Ireland.

21/11/2024: Myself and my husband are indian food lovers, we always try to eat in every city or country we travel to and we found this restaurant's food really nice and we loved the lamb curry and chicken achari ghost masala we ordered. We will definitely come back again!!

21/10/2024: Good food served by engaged staff in a friendly atmosphere. Busy with both sit-in and take-away business on a cold Friday in October: the Mixed Kebab with a giant bottle of Cobra Beer hits the spot! The best kebab in Cork! The Chicken Karahi is spicy and flavorsome. This is a restaurant to be recommended. Medium pricing.

19/11/2024: Overall very underwhelming. Only vegetarian option ( for me) burrata (cold) with tomatoes ( hot)..did ask for a simple pasta and ? sauce ..told no. Pizzas were heavy .. Side salad just consisting of leaves €8 vastly overpriced. ..overhyped I’m afraid ..

05/11/2024: Came here as it looked really cute from the outside, and unfortunately had the worst almond croissant of my life. Was very stale and clearly had been leftover from the day prior (server grabbed it from the very front of the display). Went back in to let the staff politely know, was very reasonable and the lady was very rude and insisted that they were ‘baked fresh’ and too bad. Definitely head to one of the many other gorgeous shops around town instead of here!

30/11/2024: I did online shopping for collection , online my bill statement showed full price of the items I have ordered, but when I collected items I was overcharged , the prices and the items offer dates etc was clearly shown online , When I went back to super valu in kinsale staff member said it’s nothing to do with them , so they told me to ring Musgrave, I rang them They said it’s shops responsibility, they said they emailed the shop and someone will get back to me , but I waiting till this day no one has contacted me. Absolute ignorance, simply I got scammed and overcharged, lesson learned never will do online shopping again, my advice check your receipt every time you shop online. Coz prices doesn’t match , and that’s where you get scammed if you don’t check the receipt or your bank statement!! I should had returned all the items and get my refund,but it’s to late now , as I was waiting for call back. I never had this issue with any other shops, but here you go super valu kinsale made it first.

30/11/2024: I had a good experience with the store, but a tremendous experience with one of their cashiers, Ian. First, the store prices were not the best. There wasn't much to entice me to return. However, I was quite impressed with Ian who treats each person as if they the only one. He smiles easily, has a gentle voice, and puts the customer at ease. I wasn't sure about which way to use the bank card as I just arrived from Denmark where they use the cards differently. He didn't seem annoyed or look at me like I was wasting his time. He smiled and gently directed me. Most cashiers are adequate and, those who stand out, often do so for being abrupt or rude. Ian is a true professional. I hope you are able to convey to him, that customers believe he stands out in a way that makes the store a true "Super Value."
