19/10/2025: Love, love, love the food served there. Sadly only managed to get to eat there once while we were on holiday in the area, as cafe seemed to be closed on other days we tried.

05/09/2025: A lovely place to eat traditional Irish coastal dishes, with a very relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. We tried the seafood soup and fish and chips with fresh fish.

The Old Bank House

29/09/2025: The hotel has a great location and a rustic feel. Unfortunately, it's quite dated and rather noisy. However, the breakfast was delicious.
11/09/2025: Very old room that needs renovations. Elevator didn't work on main floor. Beds very comfortable. Windows had bird poop all over them. Tub very dangerous to get in/out, so that meant no showering. Quiet room. Way overpriced and definitely not 4 or 5 stars. Jude very welcoming upon arrival, but, paying up front not ok. Breakfast was fantastic!

10/10/2025: It’s so beautiful restaurant with delicious food and above all excellent service. Mr. Khaled, who served us was very friendly and accommodated our requests. I would suggest this restaurant to everyone who would like to try Indian/Pakistani food. Lots of food options be it starters, main course drinks, deserts, and nice cozy environment, clean and hygienic too.
06/10/2025: Ordered 2 kebabs for takeaway. Sauce was dripping out that much it was disgusting. Could not enjoy it because of that and to be completely honest, both were tasteless. Did not enjoy whatsoever. Didn’t even finish, threw 3 quarters away. Staff were friendly in the front of restaurant though but I won’t be going back.

20/09/2025: I stopped in mid morning after strolling around town. Just wanted a tea and snack nothing heavy or big. The hot chocolate brownie and ice cream I ordered was easily one of the best things I’ve eaten since I’ve been here in Ireland! Every bit was savored! I left not a crumb!

23/10/2025: This spot is SO lovely. I wandered in to get some baking and was really happy with the selection! I carrot cake was delicious! I highly recommend it. The girls at the front were so friendly and the vibe was just chill and happy. Worth checking out if you’re in Kinsale!

Stopped into Jo’s Café for a cappuccino and a coffee — both were excellent. The lady working there was very friendly and welcoming, and the place had a great atmosphere. The food looked absolutely delicious, so I’ll definitely be back to try it next time. Highly recommend if you’re in Kinsale!

24/09/2025: Unfortunately they were out of scones. If the waiter could have baked them I'd say he would have, he was so apoplectic. We had coffee and the apple and strawberry crumble instead. Beautifully presented with homemade vanilla ice cream. 10/10. Am already looking forward to going back.

06/09/2025: We ordered a decaf and regular latte, a yummy cookie and received amazing service as a bonus. We had the outside patio to ourselves on a lovely rainy Saturday afternoon. Great place to sit, sip and scroll when you’ve nothing else to do but relax. The atmosphere is calm & cozy, highly recommended.

The owners are great craic, and the pint of Guinness the best in town by a country mile. Really enjoyed the couple of nights that I spent here.

30/08/2025: We had a take away this evening, Saturday, it was very busy there.
Sadly when we got back to our van to eat them the chips were so hard, dry and overcooked they almost broke our teeth. The fish was good but the batter was oily.
Very disappointing.
29/08/2025: Very disappointed. Take away is frozen pre battered fish dropped straight into the fryer. Tasted like it too.
Restaurant may be different.

27/06/2025: Visited here for lunch during the week. The place was fairly quiet.
We were sat at a nice window table but it took 10 minutes to get menus and a further 15 to have our order taken.
We went for crab salad and fish and chips. The food arrived pretty quickly and the portions were large.
Both dishes were very disappointing. The fish was not fresh and totally overcooked. It was mushy inside the thick hard batter. The crab was quite watery and not very tasty.
All in all, not a very good experience.
