02/06/2026: This is a truly local Irish pub. Great, eclectic decor. Very traditional and homey with lots of regulars coming in. Drinks only. Nice covered outdoor area, too. Absolutely worth stopping in for a pint!

13/05/2026: We came for the set menu on a weekday and the restaurant was relatively quiet. Overall I enjoyed the meal and my personal favourite was the langoustine course, which was light and the langoustine was super fresh. The courses that I didn’t enjoyed was the fish with the prawn broth (v salty) and the main paired with the beetroot sauce and Szechuan pepper - somehow it over complicates the dish and the combination don’t work. One of the course was a round croissant served with some beautiful Irish butter - but again I’m happy with a simple good warm bread that could highlight the flavour of the butter .. instead of putting butter on a croissant that’s already made with a lot of butter.

04/05/2026: An amazing experience, superb tasting menu and paired wines. Impeccable service. The culinary highlight of our 10 day trip to the south and west of Ireland.

29/06/2026: Great coffee, tasty home-made treats and cute merch!! I bought myself a mug & sticker here and my friend bought some beaded bracelets. New favourite coffee shop!

19/06/2026: I discovered it quite by chance, but I'm all the more delighted. A fantastic shop with a lovely café and matcha. They also have great modern items to buy. A visit is definitely worthwhile!

08/07/2026: The doors were open and there was a draft through the venue which wasn't ideal for my dad. The food also wasn't that flavor strong. The oysters were my favorite but apart from that nothing really interested me. You might like the fish pie if you're into a hearty creamy meal, but I wasn't feeling it. Felt like frozen veg to me

09/11/2025: Great and very nice space! It’s relaxing and quiet, perfect for taking a break or spending some peaceful time. The atmosphere is comfortable and well cared for — highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to unwind, have a glass of wine a pint or two..

10/07/2026: The scones were the best I've ever tasted. Perfect crust, not too moist, not too dry, add the accompanying jam and spread and it's fantastic. Wish I could go there everyday.

06/07/2026: Lovely little place, pastries were great! Only downside was the reusable cups policy, kind of inconvenient especially since I was just down for the day. I do appreciate the sustainable efforts, but it might be helpful to have takeaway cups available for visitors who aren’t local 😊

28/06/2026: The shop looks attractive, a bit different. However, the food did not live up to the hype of the shop. The toasted ham and cheese sandwich was so lathered in French mustard I couldn't taste the cheese and ham. I hoped the apple and custard 'bun' I bought with it would vanquish the mustard 🙏 No chance, it was tasteless, where was the apple and custard? It certainly wasn't in the bun, maybe still in in the pantry? What a hype, I've travelled in Ireland from north to south, had fabulous food, but not in Kinsale, 'Seeds' is a big disappointment.

28/06/2026: I came here because it was highly recommended, unfortunately the service was terrible. We waited at the door no one greeted us, another server didn’t even tell us the specials. However the waiter who was a women was very kind such a shame that the other two waiters ruined my experience.

29/05/2026: Went for an evening meal. Food was average. Service was transactional with serving staff not engaging or particularly interested in their customers. It may help if a singular member of staff were allocated to a certain set of tables to try to create some connection. We got a different person at each stage of the meal. We didn't leave a tip...

12/07/2026: Absolutley amazing food wonderfull staff we have been going to cobra for a good few years went yesterday evening 14 people and I could not recommend them enough outstanding service 14 starters 14 mains and each and every meal was amazing well done and thank you for having amazing food

08/07/2026: Frozen lamb that was dry chewy and unpleasant to eat in our curry. Served me a cold pre made roti which is a sin. If you are unfamiliar with Indian food you might think this place is ok. If you are familiar with good Indian food you won’t be happy.

20/06/2026: My wife and I had an excellent vegetarian meal here tonight, Indian inspired but different from any Indian food I have had before, from locally sourced ingredients. The courses were flavorful and varied, filling but not overwhelming. The paneer in a corgette blossom and the chocolate dessert were highlights. The wine recommended by our sommelier was very good too, and we felt well cared for by the staff.

15/06/2026: Michelin star quality, excellent service, unique food. This restaurant is one of a kind, combining Irish produce, Indian flare and French methodology. I've traveled extensively in France and India, and this experience really combines the best of both. The staff were very attentive but not overly formal. The food was exquisitely balanced and not overpowered with spices. The setting was calm and relaxing, with a great view into the kitchen behind glass. A perfect start to a wonderful evening in Kinsale.

03/07/2026: We spontaneously decided to have dinner here without a reservation. The restaurant seemed quite full, and we only got a table outside. We ordered the chicken tikka, the fish curry, the salmon, and the catch of the day (hake). After ordering, the staff ignored us. It was very windy and getting colder and colder. Our food arrived over an hour later, after we had to ask the staff about it. The portions were rather small. The food tasted fine, but the mashed potatoes and vegetables were already cold. We didn't want to send them back, though, as we were so hungry by then. Only after we had finished eating were we finally asked if everything was alright, and our mood had plummeted. The service seemed overwhelmed the whole time and wasn't particularly friendly or attentive. We wouldn't recommend it.
