I have asked many takeaways to put extra veg and seasoning on their spicebags, East is the first to actually listen to me, and it makes it a solid spicebag. If you're looking for takeaway food, not high end restaurant Chinese, this place is fast, cheap, good food x

28/04/2024: Four of us had a quick lunch in Grooms before a visit to the Gate theatre across the road. We had soup and sandwiches all of which were very nice. The loos are positively luxurious. But the staff are outstanding! They do their utmost to get you exactly what you want in the time available to you. A lovely place for a lunch in town and although it was a busy Saturday, they were attentive, helpful and made our visit a pleasure! One soup, three BLTs, teas and coffees, total bill, €60! Good value and a lovely experience

25/04/2025: Mientras estaba en casa de un amigo el fin de semana para cuidar de su perro decidí ir a tomar dos pintas a este pub ya que estaba más cerca de la casa. Viernes por la tarde a las 6: 30 así que esperaba que estuviera ocupado. Y así fue. Logré sentarme en el bar y el barman estaba casi inmediatamente y pedí un Guinness. Se lo puso y luego subió al otro extremo de la barra. Había otros dos camareros todavía sirviendo a mi lado y mucho personal del salón. Un caballero a mi lado ordenó un Guinness unos 3 minutos después que yo. Unos 5 minutos después se estaba poniendo nervioso por su pinta y había un montón de pintas de Guinness asentándose en la barra. No hay señales de que mi camarero regrese. Un hombre a mi lado le preguntó a otro barman si su pinta estaba casi lista y finalmente la suya se colocó frente a él. Unos 10 minutos desde que lo pedí. El barman me miró, sin nada delante de mí y me preguntó si había conseguido mi Guinness. Le dije que no, que volvía a las cinco pintas casi se había asentado y luego sacó un vaso nuevo y empezó a servir. Él me miró y dijo que vendíamos el tuyo, yo pondré otro. Dije que no te molestes. Miró hacia otro lado. Cuando me iba vi a mi barman original llamar mi atención. Parecía extrañamente complacido. Personal grosero y descuidado. No les importan los nuevos clientes. Lástima.

01/02/2025: Lorraine, la jefa de barra es tan grosera. Es tan antipática. Necesita ser más complaciente con los clientes. Fuimos a ver el partido del Liverpool, pero se apagó en el descanso a pesar de que el rugby no comenzó hasta dentro de 40 minutos. No volvería.

12/10/2024: La comida y el vino son fabulosos que nos dejó boquiabiertos por la comida, pero desafortunadamente un miembro del personal femenino más joven es terriblemente grosero de ninguna manera ni siquiera un saludo se paró sobre nosotros y no dijo una palabra. Deberíamos haber preguntado cuál era el nombre de esta funcionaria porque había otra joven y era muy educada. De nuevo la comida y el vino son muy agradables, pero cuando usted está gastando esta cantidad de dinero que espera lo básico como un saludo, este miembro del personal nos sirvió toda la noche del 12 de octubre y puso un amortiguador en nuestra experiencia

27/02/2024: Please come back to Dun Laoghaire, the street food truck down at the pavilion was my go to, the masa chicken burritos are top notch! I also visited the pawn shop last year for my birthday for delicious fish and chicken tacos, please tell me you are coming back in some form or another!
