Groomes Bar & Bistro
Dublin
28/07/2025: Unfriendly staff, zero flexibility beyond their menu. Got the bill without asking for it, as if they want to get rid of us - despite being Hotel guests. Hospitality is something very different... Wouldn't recommend at all.

east
Dublin
15/12/2023: This place has the best spice bags in town no jokes
17/08/2023: This is a solid takeaway. Their satay sauce is lovely. I have asked many takeaways to put extra veg and seasoning on their spicebags, East is the first to actually listen to me, and it makes it a solid spicebag.
If you're looking for takeaway food, not high end restaurant Chinese, this place is fast, cheap, good food x

Diet Box
Dublin
12/08/2025: I was there last week. Plenty of parking beside Fyre Gym. The shop is packed with so much stuff. The lad behind the counter was very helpful.
12/04/2025: just after buying protein powder, the person who i believe was the owner gave my great advice on which flavour to choose and threw in a container of eaas on the house

BBQ Lounge
Dublin
11/03/2025: I had a wonderful experience at this place. The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, making me feel welcomed immediately. The restaurant was clean and tidy, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. I appreciated the comfortable seating arrangements and how well everything was organised.
The food truly captured the essence of authentic Asian flavours, and I found the prices quite reasonable for the quality we received. The service also made a positive impact on our visit.
I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

27/02/2024: Please come back to Dun Laoghaire, the street food truck down at the pavilion was my go to, the masa chicken burritos are top notch! I also visited the pawn shop last year for my birthday for delicious fish and chicken tacos, please tell me you are coming back in some form or another!
28/12/2023: Restaurant is closed permanently but still accepting bookings.

Purple Sage Restaurant
Dublin
31/08/2025: I only had breakfast here, but that was enough to let me know I would never want to come back.
When seated, they ask if you want tea or coffee. I waited, and after 15 minutes, no drink service. So, I picked up my coffee cup and wandered around looking for coffee. A server saw me, had me sit, and then I finally got my coffee.
Second day, Same experience. I sat and waited for 20 minutes, and again, no coffee or tea. I found the server station, poured myself a cup, and as I did, the restaurant manager walked by, smiled at me, and just kept going.
My sunny-side-up egg had a hard-cooked yolk. I love oatmeal and can say this was about the worst I’ve ever had. I’ve had better instant. It was a smooth, sticky mess with no consistency or flavor. The scrambled eggs are powdered as they sit in a big bed of what could be called scrambled egg soup.
Tip: For a full Irish breakfast, select the self-serve option. They take a plate over to the same self-serve bar and give you the exact same food, but will charge you an additional four euros. Skip it and opt for self-serve, or better yet, find an alternative place to eat.
