24/11/2023: Rang in order over the phone. Arrived and one of the staff told me it was still in the fryer. 10.mins later I asked what's the story. They never put the stuff on. Chef couldn't give 2 fcks. Raw chips, terrible chipper
04/09/2023: They used frozen fish and chips… thick batter and hard fish. I tried many fish and chips but Irish fish and chips was the worst

05/11/2024: Went on Tues, Nov 5th. Hassled from time we arrived about were we ready to order. Pressured to order. While eating lost count of number of times staff wanted to know if we were finished. Had chicken stir fry that menu failed to mention had sweet sauce, ugh!!! Instead of chips or side salad I said I'd have extra veg got cabbage, broccoli + carrots rather than stirfry veg. My husband very kindly gave me his dish as I hated mine.Left with indigestion as rushed incessantly. Such a waste of money for relaxing night. While still finishing food, guy came with bill at 20.40 to say kitchen closing so we had to pay. Could go on. In future, lesson, have a drink and then go to one of restaurants in area to eat.
01/11/2024: Used to go to this pub regularly on a Friday but all of a sudden every fkg table has a reserved label on it!!! It’s supposed to be a public house!!!!

21/11/2024: Ordered an Americano and croissant this morning ....told it would cost 7.80 euro! Had the coffee only. Haven't paid this price anywhere else in Midleton. Definitely won't be back!
10/09/2024: Went in at 5.01pm ( it says online it closes at 6) and was told they were only serving tea and cake . . I asked could I have one of the already wrapped sandwiches that were in full view plus a tea. Long pause from the female server who then said we are closing in 10 minutes . That would’ve been 5.11pm. Obviously I was a nuisance so I left. There were 4 people sitting at a table still eating . She was so rude and dismissive . I will NEVER attempt to be served there again.

08/11/2024: Been getting club sandwiches for the last 4 years here , they are always top class never had a bad one . Staff are also very friendly and happy

13/08/2024: Little hidden gem! The food is very fresh and tasty. Wraps and sandwiches made to perfection. Generous fillings and top notch sauces. Good craic as well

29/09/2024: Nice meal and very friendly welcome and service. I had the hot seafood platter and really enjoyed it. The cheesecake was also lovely.
23/09/2024: Went out for a family dinner.
Six people in our group.
Garlic chicken overcooked hard crust butter had evaporated. Crabmeat in filo pastry was burned. Waitress said it would take 15 mins to replace. Steak??? 😔.
Can’t believe the chef allowed this to be served. Years since last visit to this restaurant

10/08/2024: Lovely pub and friendly staff.
But sort the Guinness out lads, it was absolutely terrible! I took two sups and then left.
22/07/2024: The dining experience was ruined by the state of the floor nearby & under a nearby table-Cutlery under the table on the floor place not cleaned in ages.- a smell of urine also detected in the corner we sat in.
Never again would I eat in this place.
Place was buzzing & out the front was busy
Lighting very low.
