03/05/2025: Fresh Food and Friendly Faces but Let Down by the Plates I visited O’Briens Café in Jervis Shopping Centre with my son early on a Saturday morning. It was one of the very few places open and serving food at 10.30am, which was a real bonus when everything else was still closed. The convenience alone makes it worth considering if you are in the area early. The sandwiches were genuinely tasty. The bread was fresh and clearly good quality, and the ingredients felt well chosen and nicely balanced. What really stood out though was the staff. The two team members on duty were warm, welcoming, and seemed genuinely happy to serve us. That kind of positive attitude makes a big difference and gave the place a bright, upbeat feel from the moment we arrived. However, there was one detail that did take away from the overall experience. The sandwiches were served on basic plastic plates, which felt out of place given the price. It gave the meal a slightly disposable, rushed feel that didn't match the quality of the food or the care put into service. I understand it is part of a food hall setting, but a switch to proper crockery would go a long way in elevating the overall experience and better justifying the cost. In the end, O’Briens offered a quick and satisfying bite with genuinely fresh ingredients and excellent service. A small change in presentation could easily turn a good visit into a great one.

16/05/2024: the worst customer service, phone broke, don't empathise with the customer issues, ( i ordered a vegan pizza, they dont have the option to add extra vegan cheese but they have the other ones, i added regular cheese as extra and called the restaurant to tell them that the vegan pizza with extra cheese is extra vegan cheese, but they failed with logic, added the cheddar, they didn't want to accept that their phone didn't work when i constantly called them after ordering, the guy was saying hello hello and hanged up the call, they finally got their phone fixed and got my call to tell me their excuses and forgot that i was the customer and tried to deliver something i didn't want to pay for and i did what i was supposed to to get my extra vegan cheese delivered) right after at 2am the delivery guy come to my street, the guy that got paid more than he should because the guy lacked empathy as well and never parked the car in a easy no way out street and made me without shoes, and pejamas with him in his uniform and with no cars around at 2 am in my no way out street but as he knew i was "a difficult customer " as i called them about the cheese and the guy played superiority to make me cross the street instead of him doing his job that is deliver at the door. very unsatisfied with customer srrvices which should be a good one atbany shop focusing on customer needs and requests but they are unhappy people working in a place that they dont care for their customers, so i decided never to order anymore this energy in my food , and tell all my friends that order with them my tonight's experience.

22/12/2024: We always go there and get good sushi and burgers. The Asian waiters are so kind and very fast. Will be back only for it

12/10/2024: Went to a Japanese restaurant , but it’s actually just a bar. Then the waiter says that they DONT have sushi, sashimi or any kind of seafood at all. Very dissatisfied, I ordered ramen that was bland and tasteless. I don’t recommend this place at all.

24/04/2025: Asistí a un funeral en este lugar el 22 / 4 con un gran grupo de familia. El personal era muy servicial y respetuoso y tuvimos una comida carvery. Los chefs eran tan amables y eficientes y honestamente puedo decir que fue el mejor carvery que he tenido. Muchas gracias ☺️
