The best restaurants in Dublin

26/02/2025: A nice restaurant with a friendly staff. We ordered the burgers and they tasted really good. The drinks were delicious and looked cool as well. The menu is not too big, but everyone will find something for themselves. Our little daughter got the fries and ate the whole portion - although she is quite a picky eater. Special thanks to our waiter Oleksiy who provided the best service and was super helpful. He directly brought a high chair for our daughter, gave us the best recommendations for food and drinks and was very friendly. We are definitely coming back!

17/12/2024: Wait staff were lovely. Food was not. I ordered the vegetarian "snack box". The warm fillet (i.e. squished vegetarian chicken nugget) just served to heat up my rocket leaves. Those rocket leaves were not dressed, as the menu stated they would be. My 11 chips were floury. My sriracha sauce was actually taco sauce, and somehow tasted watered down. I asked for ketchup sachets instead. My apple pie for dessert was cold, despite it being a wintry food in December. I am grateful to have been so consistently amused at how poor the food was.

16/11/2024: Highly recommend these guys for any event - they are absolutely worth it. We booked Shaw for a house party on Trim and it really took the event to the next level. It allowed me to focus on the food and the cocktails went down a storm! They're also happy to make unusual cocktails and made a perfect version of one I had my own recipe for. Worth every penny and I'll definitely be booking them again.

03/09/2024: We booked cocktails in a click for day two of our wedding! They absolutely made the day, everyone raved about the cocktails, they were delicious. The service was immaculate and Shaw was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend this service more and will definitely be using cocktails in a click again for our next event.

03/03/2025: Service was good and the staff were nice and polite. The place smells musty as did the prawn crackers. All went in the bin after one bite.

08/11/2024: Just moved into the area looking for our new local Chinese and had no luck. Then Changs menu came through the post, gave them a go and havent looked back. Delicious Chinese, no issues with delivery. Great prices. It has quickly become our weekly takeout.

05/08/2024: The food was very tasty-5/5 ratings. Excellent customer service. Quick delivery and great customer servive by delivery driver as well. Would certainly recommend if you are looking for great food at a reasonable price.

26/06/2024: *** Chang’s restaurant… Avoid avoid avoid *** Myself and my mam wanted to get a Chinese for our girly night and treat ourselves. We decided to get Chang’s in Lucan village. My mam called for collection. When she called a lady answered and said there was seemingly a number of complaints and that she was black listed and hung up the phone without allowing my mam to speak back. SO RUDE. So mam called Chang’s back and a young man answered the phone and said to stop calling and again.. hung up. (We haven’t got Chang’s in well over a year) So myself and my mam went down to the restaurant to see what the problem was and to speak with a manager as this was all quite a shock to both of us. The young man (whose name I have but won’t share) standing behind the counter in a pair of Nike shorts and a T-shirt - no uniform (totally unsanitary) greeted us. After asking for a manager his reply was “em name?????” We said who were were he told us to get out that we weren’t going to be served. He was so so so rude and refused to get anybody else to speak to us. The lady who answered the phone the first time came over and said that the ‘owner’ said not to serve us.. I asked for proof of the said complaints on the system as we hadn’t order in a very long time. No manager there and they refused to give us an email or any sort of contact for their manager and we were told to go across the road to another Chinese. No customer service skills whatsoever between them. How they spoke was an absolute disgrace and disrespectful. We were treated horribly and with no backup of their accusations. I have heard so many people say the rudeness of the staff in there is awful.. but now Iv experienced it myself. I hope nobody else has to deal with customer service like this. Just avoid it to save yourself the hassle. Disgusting behaviour.

28/07/2025: As a Korean, I try to leave only good reviews out of support for Korean food. Sometimes, when I crave Korean food, I'll buy it at the Dun Laoghaire Sunday Market, but the japchae I had yesterday was just... I wouldn't buy it again, but I'd be upset if foreigners bought this food thinking it was Korean, so I'm leaving a review. I visited around one or two in the afternoon for lunch, and the glass noodles were swollen and falling apart. The only vegetables were paprika and spinach, and it wasn't seasoned at all. I don't think adding sauce or crispy onions would have made much of a difference. I hope they'll improve on it next time I visit.

20/04/2025: Beautiful place, but my sausage roll was served ice cold when asked to be served warm. I didn't say anything as I did not want to upset others. Disappointed as it was like eating a leftover cold piece of meat from the day before !!

06/03/2025: Always lovely. On my own today but usually with company. Staff are always good no matter how busy they get. Food is always tasty and presented beautifully. 5stars every time I visit.

12/07/2025: Servicio rápido, lugar concurrido. La comida llegó rápido lo cual es bueno. El lugar podría mejorarse y actualizarse un poco los precios en línea. No lo llamaría "publicidad falsa", pero las diferencias de precio son muy notables. Buena idea si tienes prisa y buscas comer en el local o fuera.
