28/03/2024: This is the 2nd time we've eaten here. Deke is an absolute gentleman and a real Dublin character. My daughter had the gouging meal chips& drink. I had the half pounder burger meal chips& drink total was €20.50 excellent value. The burger is definitely worth trying 👌 totally fresh & dripping in flavours. Definitely 8 out of 10 on the food. I'd highly recommend the burger meal good quality beef & fresh crunchy veg. Well done Deke! We will be back. Brendan Cowzer

28/03/2024: Probably the best fish restaurant in Skerries. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Range of delicious options on the menu, reasonably priced. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the Fisherman's Curry, Moules frites and fish and chips. The fruit pavalo was fresh and delicious, and big enough to share. Tends to be popular and busy, particularly in the afternoons, so it is important to book to ensure a table. Highly recommended.

25/03/2024: Perfect all around. Huge selection of delicious cocktails that we had to try two each. The mains were superb. The vegan poke bowl has so much flavour unlike most place’s vegan options. Staff are very attentive to your needs and there’s no delay with the food or drink. Best meal out I’ve had recently.

02/04/2024: I was really looking forward to this but the food was terrible. It was around 7pm but my food seemed old and overdone. I didn't eat 80% of the things on the plate, I mentioned to server as leaving, genuinely not looking for anything, just giving opinion. I was told "you cant have anything off, you should have mentioned it earlier so we could give alternative". Apart from the fact I wasnt looking for anything off, this wouldn't have been possible unless they were going to make mash, cabbage and pureed carrots from scratch, which would be impossible. I was told, if you didn't like cabbage we could have given you something else, but I do like cabbage, just not overly chopped up brown cabbage and carrots like baby food. All I was expecting was an acknowledgement. Kids food was okay. Won't go back.

02/03/2024: Never disappointed by the food in Piccolo and the wait staff are always so pleasant. Had the cod starter, which was so delicate and then the vegetarian tortellini for mains. I could have eaten it all over again. Delicious!

21/03/2024: Great pint of guiness and the food is lovely,chicken burger is gorgeous, the staff are excellent and very friendly. Tv's are alll around so you can see the sport from anywhere ,Depending on the time, it could be quiet enough ,but the pints make up for that 👍

03/04/2024: As always, a visit to the pavilions in swords is a must, there are so many shops to browse or spend lots of money if you have it. What ever takes your fancy be sure it's in pavilions. I'm a wheelchair user and there's plenty of room to scooter around even when it's busy, to top it all off is PENNY'S just can't resist this shop Happy shopping at the pavilions swords, lovely swords. And now thanks to transport Ireland who have recently introduced a new local link rural bus service from Balbriggan to swords, The 192 service, I'm now able to get the bus from oldtown to swords in my electric wheelchair, I still have to pinch myself to make sure my comfortable journey to swords on the bus is actually real 😁👍

03/04/2024: Popped in to see Godzilla with the kids. Was shocked how fuzzy the projection of the screen was. Nothing was sharp, I found the experience frustratingt to watch, I felt like I was watching a pirated copy. I asked the girl at the desk could anything be done to sharpen up the picture in screen 5 but the question was met with confused concern that went into the land of crickets. On the was back I popped my head into screen 6 that was playing ghostbusters and to my surprise it wasn't much better. I think home entertainment has surpassed the Cinematic experience. I did Google the issue ans it seem there are 4k projectors in circulation but only make up 17% of the market. Looks like Swords Cinema ain't got any decent projectors and the bulbs in the projectors are passed their best before date. Not happy, spent €32 for 3 of us to watch what felt like a pirated movie. You can do better Swords Cinema.
