27/10/2024: Cuando mi marido y mi hijo vieron esto en el menú, tuvimos que reservar (ninguno de los dos había visto The Quiet Man). Fuimos un domingo por la noche, y la reserva era sin duda recomendable. Pat Cohans tiene la sensación de un pub o salón tradicional. El personal era muy amable y la comida era increíble. Aún mejor podríamos traer a nuestro perro. (Nos sorprendió la poca cantidad de lugares en Irlanda que permiten que para la cena, comer dentro). Mucha gente sentirá que este es un lugar turístico, pero la calidad de la comida y el servicio demuestra que este es un restaurante que quiere mantenerse por sí solo (y no por su vínculo con la película)

28/11/2024: I attended a family birthday party in Lydons, Cong and I can't praise it enough. The food was fantastic and excellent service (group of eighty people). Its a small family run hotel and I highly recommend it.

14/10/2024: Delicious! The is where I discovered that the Irish make the most delicious tuna melt sandwiches I've ever tasted. Tuna complete with corn and caramelized onions on hearty grilled bread. OMG! I had a few more that were almost as good on the next 10 days of our trip. Excellent cafe!

18/12/2024: Great food, great atmosphere and a wonderful waitress Maiya who exceeded all our expectations. Excellent service and very kind staff. If I could leave a better review I would!
14/12/2024: The steak I had tasted good and had the right level of cooking as requested, the supporting mushroom and tomato were underdone and the peas were overdone.
The overhead light was harsh.
The service was good and not too slow.

08/08/2024: Return visit to this hotel.
Disappointed with a few things.
Felt the outside area very unclean, and considering its the first thing people see, the dirty plates,empty glasses left for over an hour at unattended tables was so unappealing.
It certainly wasn't down to lack of staff as there appeared to be sufficient amount of them working.
And while the bar staff attentive and friendly, wait staff could absolutely do with some tips on customer service,they all looked fed up, like they didn't want to be there and not a bit welcoming or engaging.
Would not stay again.
Such a fabulous location and could be excellent unfortunately felt it had gone down hill from previous years.
On a side note paying only cash for meals screams Dodgy and customers should be informed before ordering.
15/07/2024: Pensé que podríamos cenar aquí... olvídalo. Bar muy ruidoso gracias a los varios televisores salpicados a todo volumen. Cuando le pregunté a la camarera si podíamos conseguir una mesa me dijeron que "no tenía ni idea, pregunte al personal del comedor". El 'comedor' consistía en muebles baratos parecidos a una cafetería de la escuela sin personal a la vista, así que esperamos y esperamos, pero nadie se acercó a nosotros. La clientela que estaba comiendo allí (descubrimos mientras esperábamos) consistía en una gran familia de la comunidad itinerante!! Hemos dado marcha atrás rápidamente y sin duda nunca volverá. ¡El lugar es lo que mi hija describió como "una inmersión"!

Located at Main Street in the Village of Cong.
02/08/2024: Extremely charming and friendly. We were on holiday and felt immediately welcomed when we popped in for a few things to prepare for lunch. Lovely people and the food is delicious. We would love to return if we get a chance.
