24/02/2026: Quiet and relaxed. Very professional and a well run service. Food exactly as ordered and the chef should take a bow, very good. Desert should come with a government health warning, but you would die happy. After a few weeks in the gym, I'll look forward to the next one. Highly recommend a visit.

15/03/2026: Very rude staff member on the phone tonight my card was used as fraud today in this restaurant.i had asked the man could he tell me who signed my receipt as it was a Mastercard so I could contact the Garda regarding this transaction and all he could say was o I don’t know I’m to busy not a very nice manner at all as I live nowhere near this restaurant I was very worried as I have my card so they obviously have a copy of my card all I was looking for was a bit of information so I could report it to c

19/03/2026: Visited Lakeside Manor today, lovely location and food was brilliant. Although the place is beautiful the staff lets this place down unfortunately. We had a lovely waiter at the start and then a woman continued the service for the rest of the evening. We asked for drinks, she could not have been any more rude and we felt uncomfortable from her responses. We were given no cutlery or basic condiments. When we asked for some, we were walked away from with no acknowledgement. As people who work in hospitality we thought this response was absurd and it put a damper to our evening. We will still return as it’s a lovely spot and the food is great, however this could be worked on for future reference.

14/04/2026: Good food, very poor service, very disappointing restaurant experience with many issues which I did email to the GM (no reply many weeks later). Also pointed out to the waitress that she had missed a zero off the bill when paying, someone else may not have bothered after having such a disappointing evening there.

21/09/2025: every time my family go to cavan we always go to dinner here!! the staff are so lovely and attentive and we’ve never had any problems with our food. They also offer gluten free and can cater to other options. Definitely recommend this place!! :)

23/03/2026: This place is amazing, unique in Ireland. Also Virginia is a beautiful town, with amazing lake. Amazing pastries and amazing atmosphere. This has been renovated and it is even better. I would leave Dublin and go on a road trip to this town and get breakfast and lunch here.
