01/01/2026: Had a really enjoyable chicken curry as main but I was very disappointed with the creme brulee as it was served on a large plate as a set custard. No caramelised top. I've had it before & I always look forward to it. I was going to make a point about it when we went to pay but we just got our bill & weren't asked if we were happy with the food or service.

21/09/2025: every time my family go to cavan we always go to dinner here!! the staff are so lovely and attentive and we’ve never had any problems with our food. They also offer gluten free and can cater to other options. Definitely recommend this place!! :)

Lakeside Manor Hotel
18/12/2025: Our Retirement Group (32 people attended) had our Christmas Lunch Party here and we had a great time. Manager Claire and all the staff were very accommodating in every possible way, from the moment we booked the party. The room upstairs was beautifully decorated, the room was lovely and warm, the set menu choices (every course had two choices) was delicious and festive. The food was delicious. All the staff were very kind, patient and helpful. They truly went out of their way to give us a very special and enjoyable Christmas celebration. All our members were extremely positive in their reviews. I highly recommend the Lakeside Manor for an event like this.

15/02/2026: I stayed 2 nights for business. Hotel rooms were clean and comfy. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was OK, but nothing special. Although the coffee machine made really nice coffee. Happy with my experience.
04/02/2026: Beautiful hotel. THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Our room the first night unfortunately had a bad smell. (Plumbing problem). The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and moved us to a second room without hesitation. We will most definitely be back for future family functions. 100% recommend.

25/01/2026: Amazing food, flawless service, beautiful restaurant. Left feeling perfectly looked after, pleasantly full and purely content. Had the scallop, venison special and apple tarte tatin. My husband had the special creme brûlée which he adored. Special shout to Niamh who was such a wonderful person and provided us with amazing service. Will 100% be back! Absolutely gem of a restaurant
28/10/2025: My husband and I had the best culinary experience in all of Ireland here. And I truly mean it was a wonderful experience, not just a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, the service was at a relaxed pace, and each course was beautifully curated (both flavours and presentation). The dining space was cozy but spacious too, so it felt intimate. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

Très belle et bonne assiette, tout comme les desserts
Service sympa et efficace,dans un joli cadre loin des décors des pubs avoisinants (et repas plus calme …)
Tout comme l’eau, la note est un peu salée (130 euros les 2 plates + 2 desserts + 4 verres), mais c’est l’Irlande …

21/02/2026: I had booked the spa over night package as a treat for my mum, sister and niece which included a 30min back massage and we paid for an extra 10min lava foot massage for an extra €15.
Myself and my sister got a 20min back massage with 5 mins on the feet with a hot stone and a few effleurages up the leg.
The therapists nails was very long, the room was not playing any relaxing music I was listening to i-radio with dance music and the news for the whole duration as were the rest of the girls.
The 'relaxation room' was really outdated, the snacks were melted and Aldi brand, the cheese was warm & smelt sour as was the fruit.
We mentioned this after our massage and she said she didn't know how to fix or handle this and we still had to pay.
Two of us are skin massage therapists ourselves and wouldn't ever go back no disrespect to the therapists as it's down the owner and her work ethics at the end of day.
