The Lake Room

16/07/2026: Chose to eat here for a special occasion. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Food and wine were delicious and the service was amazing, decor light and spacious. Would highly recommend.

Lakeside Manor Hotel
31/05/2026: We enjoyed our stay at Lakeside manor. We had the suite and felt it was spacious, had great AC, a comfy bed, and nice view. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel as well. We would love to visit again!
06/05/2026: Zero stars if I could. €20 to use the slipway, that's not on. It's way to expensive, in other places it's only €5-€10. Rip off.
The service at the hotel is hit and miss and the prices are too expensive for what you get and being charged €3.50 for a pint of MiWadi...... Come on, get it together.
The current state of the carpark is like the surface of the moon, be warned.
The price of the Mi-Wadi may have changed, since we were there.
We and others I've talked to will not be going back.

10/07/2026: Food is freshly cooked, Staff are pleasant and it's Irish Owend and Run - I have eaten here several times for both breakfast and lunch sittings and food is to a high standard and reasonably priced 5*
30/06/2026: A quick stop in Virginia to recaffineate led us to stop off here. Good coffee and a proper selection of bakery items, such as you only encounter in a local place. I had a slice of coffee cake and my wife had a bowl of trifle, both delightful. Picked up a ginger cake to bring home, well received.

Très belle et bonne assiette, tout comme les desserts
Service sympa et efficace,dans un joli cadre loin des décors des pubs avoisinants (et repas plus calme …)
Tout comme l’eau, la note est un peu salée (130 euros les 2 plates + 2 desserts + 4 verres), mais c’est l’Irlande …

25/01/2026: Amazing food, flawless service, beautiful restaurant. Left feeling perfectly looked after, pleasantly full and purely content. Had the scallop, venison special and apple tarte tatin. My husband had the special creme brûlée which he adored. Special shout to Niamh who was such a wonderful person and provided us with amazing service. Will 100% be back! Absolutely gem of a restaurant
