23/07/2025: I had haddock and it was not pinboned and when I was eating scales were coming directly in my mouth. It was not descaled as well and the quantity was not enough. Very bad experience with haddock. 1/4 and 1/2 pounders are nice.

01/10/2025: I bought battered sausage and batter burger and chips the batter was still raw and undercooked the pork sausage and burger were stale the meat smelled rotten
31/07/2025: The chipper is by no means bad and I come here from time to time but I was here recently and I have say the service left me annoyed and feeling short changed.
The price advertised for a burger and chip was €6.95 and when I handed in my €10 the change I was given was €3.
I know its only 5 cents but if their prices say €6.95 I expect €3.05 back.
I doubt I would have been charged anything more than €6.95 if I had used my debit card.
Giving your customers their correct change matters!!
The other thing that annoyed me, and while I was ok with the outcome, I found the lack of asking problematic.
I personally enjoy salt and vinegar on my chips however, I know a lot of people don't.
When the staff member was serving the customer ahead of me he poured the batch of chips into the tray and asked the customer ahead if they wanted salt and vinegar to which they said yes, the staff member proceeded to dress the chips accordingly and served them.
Then when it was my turn the staff member just bagged the remaining chips in the tray and gave them to me without asking if I wanted salt and vinegar or not.
As I said, it made no difference as I personally like salt and vinegar however, many people don't and I found this to be unprofessional.
I would suggest that the owner and staff need to review their business practices.

14/07/2025: Vino aquí recientemente después de ver un montón de bombo, la cola no era larga gracias a Dios y la comida se sirvió rápidamente después de pedir. Sentí que la comida estaba muy sobrevalorada, conseguí la pitta polinesia basada en la recomendación del personal y no me gustó - era demasiado mostaza y dominado. Tenemos papas fritas de ajo y queso que estaban cubiertas de tanta salsa de ajo que casi parecía un pudín. También tuvimos las patatas fritas chillonas que tenían enormes tiras de pepinillos que era difícil de comer si no tenía un cuchillo. Las alitas deshuesadas eran deliciosas y la porción de salsa de queso azul era generosa. No volveré aquí de nuevo tbh

Mi marido ordenó el pollo supremo
Y esta vez no había verduras dijeron que no viene con él a pesar de que lo había comprado previamente y estaba delicioso esta vez solo un poco de pollo y puré de papas que era todo y dijo que el pollo estaba muy seco
Le preguntamos a la camarera y ella dijo que no venía en el menú a pesar de que lo conseguimos antes, pero
Tengo pescado con papas fritas esta vez. No tengo ensalada y el pescado era muy agradable para empezar, pero estaba muy muy seco para ser honesto, sería mejor salir de una picadora
Así que desafortunadamente, no volveré

14/06/2025: Vamos a Christy’s Bar la mayoría de los fines de semana para comer, hoy fuimos y nos sentamos afuera e intenté pedir en el bar, y me dijeron que solo podía pedir el menú externo, no quería nada de él ya que soy vegetariana, pedí un sándwich de ensalada de queso que he comprado en numerosas ocasiones, pero la señora dijo que tendría que sentarme dentro si lo quería. Dije que lo pagaría ahora y si ella lo abandonaba, dijo que no, así que lo esperé y después de 5 minutos dijo que lo abandonaría. Volví después de 10 minutos y un miembro del personal estaba caminando con mi sándwich buscando ver quién lo pedía, me acerqué a él y le dije que era para mí. Creo que no había necesidad de todo este drama. También había un montón de personal, no estoy un poco contento con su servicio. También el sándwich era pan de sartén rebanado con queso y tomate y lechuga, también lo tostaron , no pensé que se podía tostar lechuga !!!
