06/05/2025: TERRIBLE BARMAN/PROPIETARIO. El propietario nos sirvió a mí y a un amigo una pinta de guinness y pedí un vaso de naranja diluida como se sirve aquí. La respuesta del propietario fue “¡Sabes que esto es un pub!” en un tono muy grosero, yo pensando que estaba jugando. Luego procedió a decirme “te daré este y ya no más”, aunque ya le había dicho que era el conductor designado. Él todavía procedió a lanzar mi bebida y alejarse. Absolutamente terrible actitud porque alguien está haciendo lo correcto y no conducir ebrio, pero puede dar un ataque de silbido porque está perdiendo un par de euros.

19/04/2025: 5.30pm 17/04/25. Bad customer service!My girlfriend ordered a vegan burger which was advertised with vegan mayo. The burger came and there was just the burger and onion, lettuce but didn't come with the mayo.We asked about the mayo to be told they hadn't got any. We asked for a refund as without the mayo it was a dry and not what was advertised. The manager was called and in an almost mocking tone said 'what? you won't eat it without the mayo??! No such thing as an apology for serving up something inedible and not what we ordered. Then she said 'you've eaten some of it' in a defensive manner to which we replied that she had only taken a bite and realised there was no mayo. She then literally turned her back on us walked away and just left us there and ignored us until we went to pay..then more or less threw the bill at us saying the burger had not been charged. Again no apology for my girlfriend having only been able to eat a bowl of chips for her meal. Awful customer service. Don't advertise food options if you don't havethem.

11/03/2025: Terminó tirando todo lo que no fuera batido en el cubo. La salsa de curry parecía que había sido regurgitada. El conductor no tenía ni idea de dónde ir y tuvimos que ir a buscarlo. No malgastes tu dinero. Debería haber leído las críticas anteriores diciendo lo mismo

07/04/2025: Popped in for an early coffee & scone with my Mum. Quiet busy place as always. Warm welcome from the team members. Excellent service. Delicious scones, butter & preserves. Pity cream is not fresh cream rather than tined cream.. Overall experience wonderful. Look for to returning they always do superb lunches & dinners too.

04/01/2025: We tried Eddie Farrels lamb shank and chicken masala, food is great. Crowded restaurant, atmosphere is ok. Porsions are above avarage. Efficient service with square porsions. I will visit again.

18/04/2025: Great spot!!! Food was outstanding!!Shepards pie was one of the Best I’ve tasted in the UK….. came with a basket of fries and Asian esq Cole slaw…. Very Delicious. Roasted Turkey breast was Yummy as well. Clean restaurant, nice decor and good vibes, our servers were Great!! Highly recommended

25/04/2025: Haven't been for a number of years. We always went when in Cork. Absolutely lovely food and service. We were there yesterday and not disappointed. Food fantastic. Normally don't eat desserts but could not resist...never had the selection of fruit on a pavlova anywhere and so well presented. Chef who made those fantastic home made croquettes has moved. Hope she left recipes. Beautiful

18/01/2025: Had our table booked and shown too it that was grand, was left sitting there for ages and eventually had to look for someone too actually serve us. Food came fast and was delicious, can not fault the food what so ever it was perfect 👌. But then strangely I'm the middle of eating our dinner the woman came back and asked would we like to pay cash or card and stood there until I paid? I did not appreciate that at all it was very rude. But what ever about the service I would go back for the food it was 100%

21/11/2024: Ordered the bacon cheese burger and fries and a SF chicken burger and fries via deliveroo yesterday. My partner's SF chicken burger tasted good. Halfway through eating my own beef based bacon cheese burger I found the flavour a bit "funny" but didn't think much of it. Circa an hour later I felt extremely unwell. I could not sleep from the level of nausea and this morning still felt very poorly. Once I ate today, I immediately felt nauseous again and have thrown up twice. I fear there must have been some form of cross contamination, bad meat or a bacteria issue in their kitchen. I'm feeling utterly wretched and the only thing that my partner and I have have eaten differently the last few days was my beef burger versus their SF burger so it must be the burger that has caused this.

29/12/2024: Could be a great place cause the food is good but the stench coming from the bathrooms needs to be sorted. Staff must be so used to it they don't get it anymore. A good clean is needed. We were hungry with kids so stayed. Food was lovely.

10/11/2024: Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Food was very nice

23/04/2025: From sticky tables to slow service to not so good food. Not nice. The beef hogie was drenched in butter and just not nice. Suppose the americano and the tea was good.

22/04/2025: A great place to visit. Good coffee and food. Friendly staff. Value for money.

07/04/2025: Called in for quiet casual drinks. Very unfriendly team. We both said hello. Non verbal back. Not even a smile. Thankfully no food served here. Toilets disgraceful, filty. Toilet roll dispensers and hand soaps dispensers all opened and hanging down. 3 toilets filthy. 1 toilet sanitary bucket on top of lid with a stand on floor as not to go in. Loose taps. Hand drys blowing cold hair. Very run down place.

29/11/2024: Como local siempre me ha gustado este lugar, pero tengo que decir que ha cambiado completamente en el último año. Si bien las pintas son un € 5 que es genial, la calidad de las instalaciones no es grande. La falta de mantenimiento parece ser el mayor problema, especialmente en los baños femeninos. Es una lástima ya que podría ser un establecimiento fantástico para todos.

04/05/2025: Food used to be better. Had not been for about a year or so and noticed food was not at previous quality. No recycling in store either. Piry as we try to support local as much as we can. The place was clean and the staff were pleasant.

09/04/2025: Quality of the food is garbage. The fried chicken is tough and overcooked. Don’t even get me started on the chips. Undercooked and below average. The whole meal cost me €16 as well. What a waste…
