03/05/2025: Tuvimos una magnífica cena después del partido aquí, un coyole de minutos wakj del estadio Turners Cross. Gran servicio y un buen ambiente. Entre los 5 tuvimos pescado con papas fritas, lasaña, goujones de pollo, la hamburguesa de ternera y carne asada y todos estaban más que contentos. Delicioso pescado fresco de Kenmare Bay btw. Porciones de tamaño decente, tubería caliente y sabrosa. . Bonito lugar, sin duda volveremos.

06/05/2025: The rooms were luxurious, spacious and clean. My wife and I stayed over night for a wedding. It was a nice venue with nice food. My wife is coeliac (gluten free) so she notified staff of this. 30mins after finishing the meal she was throwing it all back up, having had to run to the bathroom. She spent the whole night in bed feeling unwell and missing our friend's wedding. Something must have been cross-contaminated or not prepared gluten free. I spoke to a member of staff that night to log the issue. On check out there was no mention of it so I had to raise it. The duty manager advised that all processes were followed and that it often happens at weddings with so many meals being served and it was just unfortunate. He seemed to be just trying to fob it off - i.e. these things happen and it's unfortunate. I think if the food you serve is often causing people to be sick, you should revisit your processes. We have never had issues at other weddings and often go out for food. The duty manager eventually offered us complimentary afternoon tea and made sure he had our details and would email us in a day or two. We have not received an email in the month since then. ___________________________________________________________ Update: The Guest Relations Manager contacted me the day after posting this review. She was very apologetic and could see in the hotel’s notes that there had been a mix up in handling this issue. She assured me that they take dietary requirements seriously and that it should not have happened my wife. We were offered a complimentary experience to make up for the error and were impressed with how the Guest Relations Manager handled it. She did not prompt me to change the review - her intention seemed to be that we were looked after. She also asked how my wife was since which was appreciated.

06/05/2025: We really enjoyed our stay here. We visited for 3 nights and the beds were comfy, there was a fridge in the room and the bathroom was very spacious. The grounds are lovely and we went to the fairy trail and played in the playground with our little girl. It was easy to get Bottled water to make bottles which made life easier. Breakfast in the mornings was absolutely class We loved it! The breakfast staff were top class! The rooms were cleaned daily and staff very friendly. We went to the swimming pool at the spa which was quite cold for a baby (26 degrees) and there weren't many facilities for baby changing. I asked the staff could my husband take my daughter and they said that only facilities were in the women's (this was a mistake on their part as there are facilities in the men's too) The only thing i didn't enjoy was our restaurant experience in Amber. I would have expected better service from a restaurant within a 5* hotel.

09/05/2025: Very well located, the rooms are good, you have what you need. The staff seemed neither attentive nor particularly friendly, rather stressed and overwhelmed. By 8 a.m. the buffet was already well emptied.

24/05/2025: Came here with family for a communion and was so impressed. I’m vegan and although our reservation was too early for me to choose from the full vegan menu, there were multiple vegan options to choose from for starters main and dessert. I had the vegan thai ‘fish’ cakes for starters and they were amazing, had the vegan burger as a main and the most incredible vegan brownie and icecream for dessert (my mam isnt vegan and she was jealous it was so good). They had other options for each course too which is fab as most places just have one option! Our server Rachel was so sweet and so so helpful and attentive and well informed about dietary restrictions and allergens and even double checked whether certain things were vegan or not for me. Everyone else in the group ordered from the main nonvegan menu and everyone said the food was gorgeous. They also had a great cocktail menu! Looking forward to coming back and trying the other vegan options, highly recommend

17/05/2025: If you're coming here for the food, it always delivers. The staff were quick and efficient, but the attitude? Let’s just say it was seasoned with a bit too much personality. Inquired about items on the menu and got snappy replies. Drinks served efficiently and timely but flung our way. Gone are the days of friendly service.

01/05/2025: This pub is in the best location in Cork city, right in the centre, and when the sun is shining, it is always full. It is very well attended by very well-educated people, many of whom have just finished work and are now enjoying this magnificent evening. Many tourists stop here too, especially the French, perhaps because of the name. I have met many here and they really like Cork. In fact, they always love it. When there is a week, they come by plane and in the blink of an eye, Cork always comes here, but it is all year round. These gentlemen who own it never stop. My congratulations to all of them.

14/04/2025: ¡Nos encantó! Es una posición privilegiada, es un gran bar viejo, el servicio es bueno, va a atraer al turista, por lo tanto, probablemente un poco más caro que otros. Lo sabíamos, nos sentamos allí durante dos horas y disfrutamos mucho! Había algunos lugareños allí, charlamos y simplemente disfrutamos de estar en una calle bulliciosa con un montón de cosas pasando, tomando un par de copas y disfrutando del ambiente. El personal era genial, el servicio era bueno y sin duda volveríamos a visitar. Una pinta de cerveza pálida y un café irlandés era de alrededor de 16 euros, no el más barato, pero era bueno.

29/04/2025: Fantástica experiencia aquí en un evento familiar. Grupo de aproximadamente 10 adultos y 6 niños. Servicio impecable, la comida realmente sabrosa, porciones grandes, gran relación calidad precio fijada comida en 40 € , absolutamente impecable. No había estado aquí antes pero volveré. El menú tenía una gran variedad y creatividad para un menú fijo, y el ambiente era tranquilo y cómodo, tanto dentro como fuera.

26/04/2025: El menú del desayuno Brook Inn era excelente, razonable y tenía ingredientes de calidad. El personal era profesional y cortés. Pedimos el desayuno Brook diezmo, el Mini desayuno y las tortitas con fruta. Desafortunadamente no fue posible tomar yogur natural con las tortitas. En general, el desayuno era muy bueno, aunque las 3 tortitas se quemaron en la parte inferior. Cuando estábamos liquidando la cuenta, me cobraron 20 centavos por la mermelada extra (no recibimos mermelada en primer lugar) y el personal se disculpó por “la regla” en la mermelada. Dejamos una propina ya que el personal era excelente.

05/05/2025: We've been traveling across Ireland for a week now. This Italian restaurant is by FAR the best we have eaten at. Service was super friendly and the food came super quickly. Quality is bombastic I don't understand the negative reviews, some give too few stars because it was too fast for them, others it was too slow. The most important thing is the quality of the food and it was good. Thank you for this culinary experience.

05/05/2025: We ate there on 2 consecutive evenings. It was incredibly delicious. The best Bolognese I have eaten in Ireland! I ordered the same cocktail both evenings because it was so good! The service was also very courteous and quick. Can only be recommended. If I came to Cork again I would eat there again at any time.

13/05/2025: We enjoyed our stay at Blarney Woolen Mills. We loved that we could walk over to the Blarney Castle it's so close. Breakfast was amazing.
