13/06/2025: My recent visit to Deep South Pub was nothing short of exceptional, truly making it a standout choice for any occasion, especially a corporate event. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was incredibly inviting. It struck the perfect balance for networking and relaxed socializing. The food deserves a special mention. The BBQ was delicious, well-prepared, and served with attention to detail. It's clear that quality ingredients are a priority here. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that every need was met without being intrusive. This level of professionalism is exactly what you look for when planning a corporate gathering. And the DJ? Absolutely fantastic! The music selection was spot on, creating an energetic and enjoyable vibe that kept spirits high throughout the evening. It added an extra layer of fun without overwhelming conversations. Overall, Deep South Pub delivered on all fronts: great food, an amazing DJ, top-notch service, and a superb atmosphere. It's an excellent venue for a corporate event, offering everything needed for a memorable and successful gathering. Highly recommended!

06/07/2025: It is what it is. Has not changed in years which is great as your guaranteed to be wwll fed and watered. The seats are a bit tightly compacted for let's say a private chatter, but I still love it as it is

11/06/2025: I always struggle to order here as everything is delicious. Chose the dish al forno today and it was heavenly. Can't fault it.

29/04/2025: Had an incredible stay at the Montenotte Hotel – easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Ireland. The views over Cork are stunning, the design is chic and inviting, and every detail has clearly been thought through. A special shout-out to Erin, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable – so warm, helpful, and professional. She truly made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Can’t wait to return!

28/04/2025: What a beautiful hotel in the City of Cork! My wife and I had a lovely stay. We really enjoyed the grounds and pool. Everyone was incredibly hospitable. Ken at the door had great recommendations!

27/06/2025: We booked a staff night out for last week on Friday. There was 15 of us. The minute we arrived, we were told there is no table service, as they are under staffed. There was 4 barmen at the bar and it was not that busy. They refused to take even our food order at the table. I then had to take an order from all of us and I didn't even get thanks from them. Food was absolutely gorgeous, but we didn't enjoy it as the service was absolutely awful. I have worked in restaurants-bars and this is absolutely unacceptable. We dropped well over €1000 there and left with a feeling that we will never go back, as our business was not appreciated.

21/06/2025: Great lively spot, good atmosphere, good pints. However, the service was poor, and the staff just didn't appear to want to be there. Another example of a pub that wants to be just a restaurant. In my opinion.

08/10/2024: Favorite chip shop of mine over more than a decade of visiting Cork on occasion. With that said my last visit a few weeks ago ended up with them giving me the wrong order that I did not realize was the case until long away from the shop. Chicken supper instead of the Cod Supper that I ordered. It was still good but it sad that I didn't get one last Cod Supper before they shut down for good this past weekend.

04/07/2025: The most disgusting smelling ladies toilets I’ve ever in my entire life have smelt!!! The place is absolutely filthy!! Never in a million years would I order food!! (Toilet smell has improved a lot, (03/07/) however it still smells rank!! Go invest in industrial cleaners to get it sorted and up to standard! )
