05/10/2025: Had dinner at Marcello’s and it was honestly one of the good Italian meals I’ve had in a while. The bruschetta was rich and flavorful, the spinach pasta main course was excellent, and of course, the tiramisu stole the show , easily the highlight of the evening. Great food, cozy vibe, and definitely worth a visit. 01/11/2025: Honestly, the best most sincere welcome in a hotel ever from Ken at the door. The hotel was just spectacular in every way. The bar area and gardens were exquisite and what a view!!! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The layout was great for a family of 4 however I would have liked a larger bed in the master bedroom. The only thing missing in the whole apartment was a mirror beside a plug socket for styling hair...I had to wing it without a mirror which meant I had a questionable hair style for the duration of our stay! The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were fabulous. We walked and bused it into city centre, bus is 5 min walk away or city centre is a 20 min walk. My advice, walk in and bus it back as its a steep climb up to the hotel. Get train to Cobh for an afternoon out or drive to Kinsale 40 mins away, it's beautiful! We hope to return to this little gem of a hotel in the future. Thanks so much Montenotte Hoyel!

29/10/2025: We stayed 3 nights in a 1 bed apartment and let's just say it was compact and expensive Fabulous view over the city

04/09/2025: Very comfortable and well-maintained rooms. Breakfast is served in the neighboring restaurant and includes a buffet and a selection of hot dishes from the à la carte menu (included). The breakfast is very generous, but the quality of the ingredients could be improved: the avocado toast is really not good, the omelet is super greasy, etc. Perhaps it would be ideal to have fewer choices (8 or 9 à la carte dishes) but better quality.

21/07/2025: El almuerzo aquí fue mixto. La sopa de mariscos con pan integral era excelente, pero la pizza pepperoni era decepcionante... .. corteza empapada y todo. La talla de carne asada era bueno, pero lado acompañante eran sosos.

08/10/2024: Favorite chip shop of mine over more than a decade of visiting Cork on occasion. With that said my last visit a few weeks ago ended up with them giving me the wrong order that I did not realize was the case until long away from the shop. Chicken supper instead of the Cod Supper that I ordered. It was still good but it sad that I didn't get one last Cod Supper before they shut down for good this past weekend.

06/07/2025: It is what it is. Has not changed in years which is great as your guaranteed to be wwll fed and watered. The seats are a bit tightly compacted for let's say a private chatter, but I still love it as it is
