Can recommend, will be back, no matter what rebrands lie ahead.

23/08/2026: Nice place, with good live music. Had the Cesar salad it was tasty and huge, for dessert we shared a brownie and a cheese cake, the brownie was my favorite.

05/08/2026: The service was 4/5 👍. Unfortunately, twice we were served food that belonged to another table, but I understand that mistakes happen, and it was actually quite funny.
Unfortunately, my burger was very dry and in places badly burnt, which made it taste bitter. Even worse, my daughter's chicken sandwich contained a bone! Thankfully, it didn't end with a broken tooth.
12/06/2026: €14:90 for the most disappointing eco chicken curry from eco at the marina market. No curry sauce & tough chicken. We live close by so opened it at home & it was not eaten. What a waste of money.

We ate there several times and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The dining room is comfortable with a wide selection, and the food is of very high quality. Honestly, I highly recommend it.
08/04/2026: It's ashame this pub is closing tonight because it is one of the nicest pubs in Cork City the food i had was perfect Heineken zero beautiful. Ok the service wasn't the best tonight but i guess that was to be expected with staff loosing there jobs. The pub was busy they were short staff. I really hope someone buys this pub. It has serious potential. Anytime i walked past this place it was busy it just needs to new ownership and management train new staff the food is perfect.

17/06/2026: Zero stars if I could!!! I ordered through deliveroo and the pasta - which did not have cheese on the ingredients list!! - came with cheese on it. The restaurant was not willing to help solve the matter at all! So I ended up paying twice! Even more with the service fee! Unbelievable! Never ever order food here! And the restaurant is responsible for the ingredients listed on the deliveroo Website!

28/05/2026: Came with a tour bus. Even though they knew we were coming, they were not prepared. The two servers had no idea where to take it. Only options for the pub were pizza or salad.
18/05/2026: I had a fantastic stay at Cork's Vienna woods hotel. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious. There is a restaurant and bar at the hotel. I really enjoyed the location of the hotel.

12/05/2026: Found myself in Blackrock today and happened across On a Platter Deli. The coffee is so good I can't even begin to describe it, I would drive out of my way just for another one really soon.
Had a beautiful sandwich which was freshly made and have to say 10 out of 10 all round.
The service was super, happy and attentive staff, the selection was more than ample (everything from Vegan delights to meat lovers dreams) and the real family feel to the shop means I would definitely be back.
Thank you On a Platter for making my day.

04/07/2026: Never actually considered ordering from here until I picked up a few orders while doing some Uber work some evenings. When picking up the orders, I was was impressed by the store cleanliness, seeing their cooks use fresh ingredients, and the lovely friendly service from their staff.
I finally decided to try it myself and I was highly impressed! Ordered several times since and their food always hits the spot.
Chips (including garlic and curry variants) are by far the best I've had in years!
All of my family share my opinion, it's our new favourite takeaway in Cork!
