16/06/2024: If you're in town to see the castle (of course you are) and want to get good food without getting sucked into a tourist trap, you'll want to go to Christy's. The seafood chowder and brown bread were excellent, as were the sandwiches. Wait staff super, super nice. Would go again!
09/06/2024: Establishment allowed male server to work with a bad cold. Red nose and sneezing! We should have just left but took our chances.Maybe a coincidence but 24-36 hours later my throat was scratchy and now sick with a cold. Whether he was the cause or not who knows, but a server should not be allowed to work with obvious signs of illness.

26/08/2024: El desayuno aquí suele ser bastante bueno. A pesar de la música de alto volumen.
Esta mañana esperamos un par de minutos para que nos ofrecieran una mesa. Luego rápidamente nos dieron un menú. Nos fuimos unos 10 minutos después pensando que si tardaba tanto en tomar un pedido no merecía la pena esperar.
Por favor, trate con el problema del servicio y baje el maldito volumen.
18/08/2024: Llamé la semana pasada. Había una buena selección en el menú.
Fui por un sandwich de carne.
Me impresionó mucho cocinar a la perfección. La verdura también estaba sabrosa junto con el pan de ajo.
Personal muy amable y eficiente.

24/07/2024: Lovely setting with views over the River Lee. Staff were attentive. I had the hake and my companion had the duck and we were both happy with our food. The cheesecake which we shared for dessert however was disappointing. Base was rock hard and difficult to cut. Wouldn’t have it again.

12/05/2024: Chips way over cooked and cold, Fish was no bigger than a gold fish covered in batter.best part of the meal was the curry. Never again after paying nearly 35 euro which mostly went into the bin.

25/06/2024: Am absolutely astounded how anyone with an inkling of a cooking background could serve up what I was served today - it was nothing short of shocking......
The bread was stale.
The bacon overcooked and greasy.
The mushrooms slimy.
There was NO redeeming feature about this plate and I paid €16 for it????
I wasn't even asked as I left it on the plate - if it was O.K?
For goodness sake - hire a Chef and don't continue to offend your overcharged clientele.......

26/07/2024: Wir haben wirklich lecker gegessen, die Speisen waren lecker gewürzt. Die Kuchen waren ausgezeichnet. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Das Café ist sehr zu empfehlen!
Das einzige was uns gestört hat, waren die Fische vor dem Klo. Tiere so zu halten ist nicht in Ordnung.
24/07/2024: Very average service , disinterested waitress. Long wait for 3 sandwiches . Food was tasty when it eventually arrived .

18/03/2024: Had the pleasure once again of dining in Rathcormac inn co cork
On St Patrick’s Day. It was packed to the rafters.
We had a beautiful roast beef lunch. It was just divine.
Well done to the chef and all staff in Rathcormac inn.
