13/08/2026: A lovely traditional Irish pub just around the corner from Dublin Airport. The ambiance was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It had a wonderful mix of tourists and locals, which gave it a very authentic feel. The food was delicious with generous portions, and I was particularly impressed with the kids’ menu. Instead of the usual fast-food options, they had proper choices — my kids had the penne and really enjoyed it. The portion was just right for them. There was also a great selection of local beers, and plenty of paid parking right next to the pub, which was very convenient. The only downside was the wait for food — we waited about an hour, although the pub was very busy that day, so it may have been an unusually busy service. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you’re staying near Dublin Airport!

28/06/2026: Sophie and Ruth and Millie and Zara were the most professional and fabulous servers on our weeklong trip to Portmarnock. We thoroughly enjoyed interacting with each of them on multiple days of our golf vacation. We wish them well and are so pleased that we had the opportunity to meet them. They are all genuinely lovely girls who are serving the best interests of this great resort!! Thank you very much!!!

22/06/2026: I tried to play golf with my GF, having booked 2 lessons slots and after showing up at the golf shop, we were told that we must be at the wrong place and the employee sent us to another golf club on the other side of Portmarnock. There, we were told that there is no way we're at the right place and were sent back to the golf shop. The employee was very unprofessional and demeaning, looking at us like we were crazy to think that we could play golf when we had our bookings confirmed. We tried to make the most of a bad situation, but the employee was very unaccommodating and acting like he was better than anyone else. We only wanted to play golf at a place where we had our time slots booked and confirmed. The employee did not feel bad for them having such a deceitful and scammy golf booking system. I felt bad after my interaction with the employee, that we wasted our time and money going there, and how our date was ruined because of it.

28/07/2026: I’m pregnant and had been craving lasagna. My husband called the restaurant to ask about ordering takeaway, and he was told that orders couldn’t be placed over the phone and that he would have to come to the restaurant to order in person. After he arrived and placed the order, he waited for 15 minutes before being told that they wouldn’t make the lasagna for takeaway and that it was only available for dine-in. If that was the policy, they should have told him before asking him to come to the restaurant. Instead, they made him travel there and wait 15 minutes just to refuse the order. It was a complete waste of time and a very disappointing experience.

23/04/2026: Fabulous food. Really enjoyed it. Got the warm goats cheese salad and a portion of really nice chips. My friends got the special of the day, the vegetarian option- ravioli with garlic bread. Delicious! Waitress was really friendly, service was prompt.

10/05/2026: Vegan salad was good a little spice or some Tofu for protein would have elevated it. Sticky toffee sauce was delicious but the pudding had a burnt after taste which ruined a great dessert.

15/08/2026: A very welcoming restaurant with a lovely terrace and a perfect atmosphere for relaxing. We especially enjoyed the main courses. The starters, however, seemed a bit underwhelming due to their preparation, although ultimately it's a matter of personal taste. Even so, a pleasant and charming place.

10/08/2026: I went to this place to order a dozen oysters. An older man came and gave me a menu and once I told him I only wanted a dozen oysters, he told me they were too busy for that and every table was reserved. There were only a few people in the restaurant at the time. I passed by an hour later and the restaurant still had several tables available. I went in again to ask why he wouldn’t serve me when the restaurant clearly had availability and he simply said that it was his choice. I left… I don’t normally write bad reviews but this particular man was extremely rude. I do not recommend this place…

13/08/2026: Family friendly bar/ restaurant with delicious food through out the day and evening. Ample car parking for party and other family events.

07/05/2026: It is a nice restaurant. The temperature is good, it's always warm. The food is fresh and the portions are nicely sized. It would be nice if one of the waitresses smiled more. Also, when eating burgers, it would be nice if they brought gloves. It would be cleaner and easier to consume.
