11/04/2025: Exceeded my expectations. Quality of food excellent. Shared a bowl of mussels, served in an njua sauce with focaccia. Than had the pan fried hake for mains which was served with veg on a divine tomato and basil sauce. 10/10. Very good value. Excellent service.

27/03/2025: From the welcome to our depture from the restaurant everything was great. Our waiter Peter was very very professional and looked after us so well. Food excellent and portions very good. The neighbourhood menu was just lovely. Value for money 5 Star 🌟.

19/03/2025: Very disappointed as we caled in for lunch and was given a menu.Tables not cleared or those that were as we were at not wiped clean.One other table being used so quite inside three girls inside counter talking and one drinking a can beside the edge of counter We stayed over 10 minutes waiting to be served while trying to catch eye contact to order.More interested in talking to each other then serving customers or cleaning the tables.Went across the road to a large sports bar and the service plus the food was excellent.

16/03/2025: €17 for pint of Guinness and captain Morgan with diluted orange, this is outrageous it'll not enter this premises again never.

15/03/2025: What a nice place to come by truck. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to leave the cooler there unless you turn it off from 9 p.m. until the morning. Tasty dishes and very friendly service. Very nice atmosphere! If I can, I will definitely come back.

30/03/2025: Another firm favourite both for Lunch and entertaining visitors , food is good , especially daily specials , roasts , deserts, home made soups , service generally is good , by can be hit and miss when it gets busy , has lots of comfortable coves , large dining room , main area is a bit without atmosphere, food is worth the price , Bar has excellent pint of Guiness , more of a winter location but still worth a visit if you are passing for lunch etc , plenty of parking , fish of the day is excellent here as well , as is the lamb , roast beef , ham , fresh fruit pavaloa is beyond sinful ( v good ) 😊

20/03/2025: This wonderful stop is in IRELAND! 🤩 Our food was delicious. Staff was very sweet. Very helpful to us, as we were first time visitors. Loved the atmosphere in this place. It has so much character, so many things to look at. Quaint place. I would definitely recommend! If ever in Ireland again, I would definitely return to The Balrothery Inn!

18/03/2025: Excellent food, best crispy chicken burger in the galaxy. Brilliant service, barman brought drinks to our table in the lounge as he saw my golf companion was limping from the hip. ( Due to my friend imitating a mountain goat on the corballis dunes). 5*****food and service.

11/03/2025: Large establishment with a bar restaurant section, a classic pub section and a beautiful exterior at the rear of the establishment, the garden bar. Nice choice of draft beer, classic cuisine, no surprises.

01/04/2025: The best meniu that I tried. Friendly atmosphere. I can talk about cleanliness separately(which is a bit rare to see in Ireland, no bad smells or anything dirty), clean cutlery. Everything that I ordered was very tasty and well combined. The waiters know their job well and can advise you on what to choose. So they are part of very good team. I will definitely come back here. Highly recommend!

31/03/2025: Wonderful classic French bistro. Quaint and located across the street from the ocean. Seafood dishes range from traditional (fish and chips) to modern fusion (red Thai monk fish). All were equally good. The owners came out to greet each table and were extremely warm and engaging. Will return for sure when we travel back to Dublin in the future!

09/04/2025: Absolutely fantastic, I couldn’t believe the service, our waitress was Ava I believe, she was an absolute pleasure and the the food was great , I especially loved the chicken burger 🤗

31/03/2025: Went with a couple of friends last weekend so we ordered a lot of different foods to try. Not sure if they just had a bad batch for us (judging from other reviews) but food was mostly disappointing. Pasta with prawns was cooked very sour, (vinegary not lemony) same for the wings, chowder was super salty, the steak meat was tough, the chicken strips and mushrooms were the only good foods. Also I get people come here for alcohol but it's strange they can't come up with a single mocktail, not even on request? Idk. A bit disorganised. We came with a reservation and they had to ask 4 different people before they figured anything out. It was also very hard to get the servers' attention when we were trying to get the bill (and we weren't the only ones with this issue) and even when we finally managed to, the server didn't even react to let us know he'll be over in a second he just kept going on his way. Surely the common sense is to give a smile or nod or anything really... Anyways the atmosphere was good but just because the locals were lively and the interior looks design looks neat. That's about it.

28/03/2025: There was 10 of us for food, service was great food arrive quickly, hot tasty and good selection. Good portion sizes, big inside plenty of seating worth going to.

18/04/2025: Large and beautiful room. The view can be nice if you're on the right side and on the right floor. But there's no cold water from the faucet, no handheld showerhead, and it's very difficult to adjust the temperature.

04/04/2025: Amazing. Food and drinks came so fast. I'm a vegetarian, so always struggle to find food in BBQ type resteraunts, but the Moving Mountains burger was so tasty!!!

03/04/2025: Unfortunately there seemed to be a couple of things missing like classic coke and ice for drinks. Luckily the waitress found a coke in the store room and was kind enough to offer it to me. The service was great and the food was good. Worth a visit even if it is a bit out of the way
