02/08/2026: I had my 60th in peacocks on Saturday night upstairs. I have to say from the time I booked it to the time it was over it was all so well organised from barry and all the staff ..the food was amazing and I would highly recommend anyone to have a party there. Thank you again to the staff for making my night special.

05/09/2026: “All burgers come with fries” After you choose the burger option it ask if you if you want to add an extra patty, cheese, beans etc. I chose beans and paid extra, meal arrive without the fries. I called to discuss and the manager who refused to spell his name for me told me I only wanted a burger and beans so that’s what they delivered, he refused to offer a refund for the fries and also refused to deliver them. Their website is not clear and therefore I would expect a better response especially from a manager. Terrible customer service.
05/09/2026: The place is super cute, the food is delicious, and the staff is always attentive and smiling. It was my first time at the restaurant, and I'm already planning to go back! 😍

15/08/2026: A very welcoming restaurant with a lovely terrace and a perfect atmosphere for relaxing. We especially enjoyed the main courses. The starters, however, seemed a bit underwhelming due to their preparation, although ultimately it's a matter of personal taste. Even so, a pleasant and charming place.
10/08/2026: I went to this place to order a dozen oysters. An older man came and gave me a menu and once I told him I only wanted a dozen oysters, he told me they were too busy for that and every table was reserved. There were only a few people in the restaurant at the time. I passed by an hour later and the restaurant still had several tables available. I went in again to ask why he wouldn’t serve me when the restaurant clearly had availability and he simply said that it was his choice. I left…
I don’t normally write bad reviews but this particular man was extremely rude. I do not recommend this place…

12/09/2026: I went to Ruby’s yesterday and, unfortunately, it was a real disappointment. The service was good as always, but the food was simply unacceptable.
I had recommended the restaurant to someone I know because I had spoken so highly of it, and I honestly felt embarrassed afterwards. The piece of meat we were served was an oddly shaped lump, full of tough gristle and extremely difficult to eat.
It was simply very disappointing, especially considering the reputation of the restaurant. I really expected much better.

31/08/2026: Not a bad spot, staff are friendly, food was spot on, the place could look a bit cleaner to be honest, an oul mop of the floor wouldn't go a miss but other than that everything else was spot on
05/08/2026: Having checked the reviews I made my first visit to Supermacs Donabate, about 7pm on 5th Aug 26, with trepidation! I was there as the local chippy reviews were even worse! I was pleasantly surprised. Great vibe between the manager and staff, everything clean and tidy and when we got home the food was hot, fresh and very good to eat - well done guys!

26/08/2026: Just got completely ignored at the drive through! Waited a few minutes at the speaker and no one came so drove around to see if they were opened and staff looked at us and just stood around chatting won’t be going back customer service if awful!

01/07/2026: Not gonna lie. I heard blindboy boatface talk about this in his audiobook. Thought it was an actual fair. Can you imagine my disappointment when I drove past a food shop.
Quiche was nice though. 👍🏻

31/07/2026: Big Bones in Fisherman's Pie, Fresh Cod was Frozen, Eton Mess lives up to it's name, as it was a complete mess, cream & strawberries & "fresh cream" tasted synthetic. Beef Burger was the only positive.
2 wine glasses replaced 1 after the other with chips at the bottom of the glasses 🍷
€157.70 for that let down, won't be coming back.

31/07/2026: Ordered a Large meal and a regular McFlurry. Collected my order and it was missing a drink so I had to let the staff know. Once I was out of the place, I realised I was given a Mini Mcflurry too. At that point I didn’t bother going back in. Waste of money

The worst restaurant I've ever seen. Dirty is an understatement. The manager doesn't see anything. The food is very poor quality. Only after I pointed out that it was dirty did they start cleaning. The kitchen staff were laughing and joking, and there was no one to clean.

Wrights Cafe Bar

19/12/2024: We had our Christmas party for the 3rd time there! Food was good as always, but the music wasn't as good as previous years, and one of the bartenders had a bit of an attitude at some point! Overall it was a good experience, and we are looking forward to finding out what's coming next year!
P.S.: Ruaidhri was there for us every year for our Christmas parties, making sure that we are having the best experience, so we do hope that we will see him there again in the new wrights adventure!

02/12/2025: Great spot for a toastie and hot cuppa on these cold days.
01/07/2025: There is one golden rule when travelling: you eat where locals eat. It never fails.
Courtyard Café has well-earned the straight five stars in its reviews: on the spot made food and snacks, great coffee and friendly atmosphere.
So, do not hesitate and go to visit Sligo and, when there, go to Courtyard Café or viceversa.

The Brasserie
22/04/2026: Ate here a couple years ago and found the food pictures in my phone. Forgot to put in my review. We enjoyed our meal very much. Nice ambiance and the service was fantastic.
10/04/2026: Leisurely dinner the night before our flight. Excellent food. Ionut, our waiter, was attentive and lovely even while the restaurant was slammed.
