03/03/2025: We dined in Bon Appetit in Malahide last Saturday evening. My daughters brought me as a birthday gift. Just read some bad reviews and our experience was very good on our visit. I have dined here a few times over the years and never had a complaint. The serving staff were young but I found them excellent and very friendly. The food was excellent and we all enjoyed our meals, we shared four desserts between five of us so we sampled the full dessert menu and we loved all of them. Great coffee.

12/02/2025: What can I say. We can an exceptional experience here. The food was fantastic, the staff were so friendly. We mentioned it was our anniversary and we got a lovely message on our dessert, a really personal touch. The beef bourginoun was melt in the mouth, absolutely delicious. My fiancé asked for a drink that they didn't have at the bar, rather than tell us no they went to their sister restaurant adjoining them at the back to source it there. We will most definitely be back!

21/02/2025: Most of the staff here are excellent, but don't call in the evening after 10pm as although the shop is open until 11pm, the staff don't want to serve you. I called in at 10.30pm Wendsday, and rather than go in, I went to the drive tru, where someone screamed at me "we're closed", and then switched off all the displays including the ones over the counter. Try BurgerKing at the Applegreen, Dubber Cross, where I drove to in approx 20 mins, where they served me at 10.55. ADDITION: The scam that is being run, which head office staff are totally ignorant of is that the time on the security system is 1 hour out. I gave them the ability to investigate this, where they replied with ".... I’ve looked into this, and I can confirm that the restaurant and drive-thru were both open and serving until 11pm as usual. There was no indication that customers were turned away at 10.30pm... John" As I advised, avoid this place. They don't care about any customer including you and I.

28/01/2025: The restaurant & the food is absolutely delicious but they are let down by the service. Firstly they didn't have our reservation (the receptionist didn't pass this on) then when we eventually got a table (not busy, tables ready for breakfast at 8.30pm) the service was atrocious. None of the waitresses seemed to be bothered & they all looked miserable. They need a proper booking system & staff that smile/are friendly at customers.

06/03/2025: Sherry and his team are always a pleasure to interact with. Polite, courteous and always presented immaculately. Customer service from Sherry is second to none! Food prepared fresh and cooked perfectly to order!

09/03/2025: We went for a coffee. It takes ages to order. Siting are inside was closed at 15 o'clock at the busiest time. Staff is very slow, rest of a tables was all dirty.

02/03/2025: I have visited several times and have noticed this on many occasions. The cafe is understaffed and has inefficient workflows. Order taking is painfully slow, tables are often dirty and not cleared before you sit down. Staff always look run off their feet with any additional asks you request feel like an inconvenience. Self serve water area is messy and even after bringing it to staffs attention was not replenished with glasses in the 40 mins I spent there. There are often little fruit flies hovering around as you eat your food. Given their prices are comparable with other local cafes with table service this really takes away from the overall experience. Coffee itself is ok but even for sit down service is brought out in takeaway cups. Their market section is good with a nice range of local and alternative products that you can’t find elsewhere.

04/10/2024: A delicious goat cheese on sourdough accompanied with Berry tea, just now Oct 4th 11:30 The 2 staff on duty just now here in The Pavilions are 6 stars, happily assisting everyone where needed. I was carrying multiple bags, so they brought everything to the table and even a hot water refill. Well worth the break, and I hope the staff receive some acknowledgement for being so good.

01/10/2024: O'Briens is a guarantee for sandwiches. Always. We use to go when we have the chance. But in the pavilion is for sure the worst we have been to. It's Tuesday and is not so busy, all the tables are dirty and full of trays with stuff. I moved stuff and cleaned myself to have a seat. And The girl at the till is absolutely unkind. I understand working with customers is hard and sometimes a challenge and we all have a day no, but this doesn't allows her to treat people with complacency.

11/03/2025: We went in to get coffee and a scone. There was a cashier/waitress behind the counter with a short, shaved hair style. She was incredibly rude, made us wait, and when we asked what the pastries were, she told us and walked away, completing ignoring us again and starting cleaning. It was not busy, no one else was waiting, and there were several staff.

09/03/2025: Long, long, long, long waiting. Have been queuing for 40 mins, ordered and paid for the food, and another 20-minute-waiting. The food was ok but the portions was different.

02/03/2025: Costumer service was terrible and my order was wrong.😡😡😡

01/03/2025: Update 1st March 2025: They have now earned the "worst McDonald's EVER" title. Gave them another try, never coming again. Probably the only McDonald's that cannot make a cheeseburger. A cheeseburger consists of: beef patty, onions, ketchup, mustard and pickles. Somehow this place NEVER adds the mustard or the onions. We go here frequently and every time we get a cheeseburger, we have to ask the staff to add the mustard and the onions. Its not even like they're out of these 2 things. We went back again tonite to order cheeseburgers. I placed my order yo have extra mustard, onions and pickes. Got the order, checked had only one (1) pickle, NO onions and an absurd amount of mustard -to the point where it was dripping out of the burger. I asked the staff to check the label to see what i asked for and to look in the burger. They said "the onions are on the top." which there was none. I dont think making a cheeseburger is rocket science.
