The best restaurantsof irish in Leitrim

13/06/2025: I have visited numerous times and the Steak Sandwich never disappoints. I might go as far as saying it’s the best steak sandwich in Ireland (and I order one everywhere I go if it’s on the menu). Perfectly cooked to your liking lovely size prime sirloin steak, with mushrooms & onions on a crispy half panini style bread, and chips and nice pepper sauce. Even the salad wasn’t an afterthought, lovely dressing with coleslaw and an onion rings to top it off. We also stayed a night in the B&B Previously, the room is lovely and clean, with the full Irish breakfast in the bar/restaurant the next morning. All good. My husband had a Guinness and he wanted me to try it because it was such a nice pint of Guinness! Everything simply perfect. Five stars.

12/05/2025: I love this coffee shop, I can't pass without getting a coffee and have been known to drive from sligo to get a coffee, too, lol. I just we had one in Sligo. Always friendly service. Loads of indoor and outdoor seating. In the summer, they even have a coffee cart open outside to save you queuing inside if you're not getting food. Loads of parking around too.

02/06/2025: Busy here, too nousy for me as I am sensitive to noise but was a very popular choice given how busy it was :-) service was excellent, did not get food was meeting friends.

16/05/2025: Trad session on on a Thursday night. Ot a big crowd so plenty of seats available. Music was OK but it gets repetitive and really needs some singing to lift it. But I suppose the musicians were happy

02/06/2025: I stayed here for 2 nights Bed and Breafast during the Rory Gallagher Festival. I sincerely could not fault it on any level. From when I booked my stay until I left . Top notch. Breakfast hit the spot. The young lady who served was at the top of her game. The hostess was very courteous when ever we spoke. And the gentleman who checked me in was equally respectful. Looking foward to staying here again. Local bus into ballyshannon. Right across the street. I have no problem in giving this gem 10/10. Tom Moloney.
