The best restaurantsof irish in Limerick

02/04/2024: In 2 words- tasteless and uncomfortable. I have to say, the area is wonderful, in between beautiful lake and historic places, but as a pub serving food is shameless for the business of restaurants in general. I have to say that in 10 years in Ireland is the worst-burger-most-dry-ever-made burger I ate. The service was far from comfortable since I ordered a Beamish and the answer could be, "no I dont have", or anything. But "This is not Cork".. to be honest, I dont care. I am not Irish to enter in disputes. I only wanted a Beer. Guinness is from Dublin as far as I know.. and what I took finally. The carving of Turkey was 1 SLICE, - just 1 - tasteless. A pity, because I always like to explore new places but sometimes you find this places that survive because they are "the only pub open there". Ah, forgot to say, €16.90, the burger, €14.90 carving. I felt scammed for what I ate. A Mc Donald's would be better solution and almost 1/3 price.

21/03/2024: Food exactly what I needed after a long journey. The gravy chip was fantastic had a chicken wrap with gravy which was fantastic. late night atmosphere was great with music. Fast service and friendly staff. Will be sending all my friends who visit the city

20/03/2024: First time at chicken hut and I got a very terrible reception from the sales attendance. She made it seem as though I was bugging her all through with my questions of wanting to know about the meal boxes and the contents. I settled for two snack boxes and I got just 3 sachet of ketchup for two whole meal box. Her attention was called to this and her reply was awful, had to leave because I was not really in the mood to go back and forth. 3 sachet of ketchup to eat two meal boxes is just the craziest and the most awful service I have ever experienced here in Limerick. Do better and be kind !!!

30/03/2024: Poor extremely poor buffet over priced, manager looked like a nice man but didn't look like he could handle the food service ,food is so bad in the buffet cold aswell definitely won't be coming back.

04/04/2024: Had dinner with family on Easter Sunday when visiting the area. My wife and kids had roast of the day , turkey & ham , I had steak , both dishes were delicious and very reasonably priced. Kids portion were perfect size . Owner & staff very friendly , short wait times for food .would definitely visit taste Glin again.

30/03/2024: Really great food! The "roast of the day" dish and the cod (fish and chips) were both really good, with a large amount of food. The staff at the restaurant were very kind and nice, with a very friendly atmosphere

25/03/2024: Ordered a small Coke and small chip. I was left waiting over 20 mins before I was served with several people served before me. They seem to prioritise takeaway and especially food delivery app orders

05/03/2024: have to change my review of this supermacs. what on earth is going on with the food as of recently? the chicken was despicable, it tasted like rubber, it was so rough and barely any skin on it! and not to mention SO DRY!! barely any meat on the chicken either! i got a lunch box meal, and couldn’t get a drink with my order on uber eats??? ended up ordering food for my friend and had their drink, but they gave me a CAN of diet coke instead of in the cup? i had supermacs from singland a couple of months ago and the food was lovely, so it must just be supermacs in town??? STAY AWAY!! someone needs to sort them out!

29/03/2024: I visited Bowes Ryan in Arthur’s Quay today with my family for lunch. We had the pleasure of being served by a wonderful staff member called Mary who was so friendly, and despite being super busy, went out of her way to accommodate us and made us feel so welcome. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! From the lovely staff, ambience and food, I will definitely be returning!

24/02/2024: Lovely food and big portion sizes and very nice staff

08/02/2024: Dining experience was ok overall. The restaurant only had garlic mushrooms as a vegetarian option which was disappointing. I got a toastie which was made out of a thin cheap sliced pan. You'd expect more for €7.20. On the plus side, the cappuccino was very nice and the service was quick.
