The best restaurantsof irish in Limerick

13/11/2024: The (probably) restaurant manager brought us the food, put it ON my cutlery without apology or comment and sat at the next table next to a guest with whom she spoke very loudly and animatedly (probably in Polish), which really bothered us. After about 20 minutes, she got up without paying any attention to us and went with the guest into the "Staff Only" area. None of the 3 other bored waiters (with a maximum of 10 guests) showed any interest in us or served us or cleared away the dishes in the next 60 minutes.

22/10/2024: Nice place - friendly, clean, good prices. Staff are very polite and helpful. Enjoyed several visits over 4 days

07/12/2024: The food was delicious and the coffee was very tasty. Polite staff and the atmosphere was cosy 👌☕️

21/11/2024: Overall, Delish Cafe Castletroy is a lovely little Café and restaurant. I've tried some items off their breakfast menus and maybe one or two things from their lunch/brunch menu. All I know is that; the food is 10/10, service 10/10 and the atmosphere was quiet when I was there every time but it was a bit too quiet, still a solid 8/10. Otherwise, the staff, decor and seating was all great. I've tried the basic breakfast (including your choice of egg, toast, baked beans, rashers, sausages, pudding, hash browns, butter/sauces and finally a drink like coffee/tea hot/coco of ur choice) I've also gotten the chips (French Fries), and a chicken burger before. Also I've gotten chicken tenders of some sort too. My family has ordered other items too such as vegetarian options (salads), rolls/wraps and different breakfast options. They've also tried other hot drinks such as cappuccinos, Americanos, black coffee, lattes etc. They may have also tried cold beverages but I'm not quite sure. I, myself loved the place in every way. Other than the food, I've also had Hot Chocolate multiple times before. They offer much sugars, marshmallows and/or sticks to stir your hot beverages too! All I'm saying is, I recommend going there and trying out anything. No matter what time you go, the warm and welcoming staff will help you. 12/12/2024: I have eaten in Franklins on and off over the last year's. The food in General is good, but it is always cold. If I wanted old food I'd have a salad. I think where the food is served from does not keep the food hot.

16/11/2024: Came back here after a while, and the food is still delicious, specially the beef pudding that I tried. Very nice staff by the way !

07/12/2024: It's all over the social media that it is infested would rats how could you eat there after after seeing the pictures of the rats sometimes when you look at the new suit but they were all shoes maybe they don't clean the kitchen too busy being racist the last time I was there some people was in front of me and they told the people that they needed bookings because they were from the Travelling community and when I came they said yes we have a table how many people I do not think this is right in this modern age
