13/12/2024: Just returned from GH after a 2-night birthday celebration & it was just perfect from start to finish. The house itself, the staff, service, rooms..everything was just wonderful. But the food needs a special mention, every morsel was delicious. We were lucky to be there for the Christmas Candlelight dinner (tasting menu) with carols & songs from the musicals by soprano Sarah McCourt. Thank you Paul & team for a memorable stay. Wishing you all a happy & peaceful Christmas 🎄

09/01/2025: Personally I am not a fishy person but my wife is. She declared her oysters as delicious while my special house burger was well above average, we both had the soup to start and it was soup like my mother used to make.. The staff were under pressure but still managed to stay friendly and helpful.
05/01/2025: Great spot , highly recommend the fish taco's ,fresh fluffy gougons and prawns covered in salsa and taco sauce ... declious , the oysters were great too. Was able to eat and then enjoy a good few pints without being bothered about freeing the table up.

28/09/2024: The food is exquisite, fresh and beautifully presented. Lovely restaurant in quaint historic setting always bustling with diners. Had a pre drink at their bar beforehand. Would recommend.

21/12/2024: Called ahead of our hotel stay to see if we needed a booking for food at 5.10pm. We were told walk in only, so we left the hotel and drove 6mins to arrive with the family and be told they finished serving food at 5.20pm .....
Few drunk fellas outside aswell so we were happy to leave with the kids and find elsewhere to eat. Maybe next time inform callers of serving times.

05/01/2025: Nice traditional style bar , wasnt that busy just stopped for a couple , CASH only - theres an ATM in the bar.
28/12/2024: Not happy with being ripped off. I ordered a Jameson whisky. It had been watered down so much that you could hardly tell it was whiskey. Music way too loud. It's a tourist trap aimed at drunk people who won't notice what's in the glass they give you. They only take cash at the bar and the cash dispenser in the bar charges €3 to withdraw. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend it
