05/08/2025: We stopped there for lunch between the visit of Loughcrew and Fore abbey. The place was quiet. We really like the decoration.
We had carvery dishes as main, leg of lamb and turkey and ham. They were very nice, and so were the side dishes. That was very good.
The deserts were not as good, still ok. The apple pie's crust was very soggy though the filling was nice. And why the plastic cup under the ice cream?
Setvice was good.

13/09/2025: I got a sausage roll which was nice. My partner got a waffle with banana , and a tiny Dribble of Nutella. The waffle was stone cold so exchange it for a apple crumble, which was ok. Had to go back and ask for a refund. We also witnessed one member of staff handling food with there Bare hands while using the cash register and making coffees , so that was a Red flag. Staff are lovely Though.
01/09/2025: Super cozy, I discovered it while waiting for the bank to open. I need to comeback with the wife. Lovely shop and a very friendly girl served my tea.

24/08/2025: I love the southern style chicken box with the oreo milkshake! This is one of my favourite fastfood places ever.
Last time it was emptier, less saucy, etc and the service was slow with two staff members (but this is very very rare), but Gabriela (I might spell it wrong) made my order perfectly (super saucy and cheesy), was super nice and offered great fast service. :D

24/08/2025: Wouldnt recommend, we got food from the takeaway menu, the chips were below average and were of cheap quality. The burger was ok but poorly wrapped and fell apart before even opening the burger.
There were multiple tables available but when we arrived back 30 mins later those available seats still werent filled.
Not worth your money/time if you dont live close
Table service could be different but it all comes from the same kitchen

08/08/2025: My family and I stumbled upon this little gem on route to a different place. Setting is really nice inside with vintage bits and bobs throughout. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was just beautiful. We had the turkey and ham, lasagna, chicken goujons and the mixed grill. All prepared fresh and piping hot. Well worth a visit!
01/08/2025: Food was delish!
I do always miss their thai chicken curry from their old menu but I had a bacon cheese burger and sweet potato fries and it was very tasty!

06/09/2025: For the past 6 years we have booked rooms for 7 families to visit and enjoy Laytown racing.
We stay 2 x days and Reddan's cannot be anymore accommodating. We love everything about this hotel.
Location, rooms with stunning views, food, service and the owner is absolutely lovely.

21/09/2025: Large bar in town that now seems to be food led which has contributed to a drop in the atmosphere in the place. Standard selection of beers, diner style food selection (burger, wings etc). Busy for a Friday lunchtime.
17/09/2025: We stopped by for lunch and portions were huge! The panko fish was excellent! We had a few drinks as well.

03/09/2025: As far as chippers go in Navan, you’re simply not going to beat the valley for quality. They are unreal. However they are on the pricier side and chip portions seem to have gotten pretty small in recent years- hence the 4 star. Would rather pay a bit more and get proper portion of chips

05/08/2025: Truly the hotel was fine. But the restaurant staff were very careless, and the service was slow even though it was almost empty. My meat was overcooked, and my brother had to wait 30 minutes for his food because the waitress “forgot” (that's what she said) to write it down. It also quite long for us to receive our drinks after we requested another round. After complaining about this to the waitress she confirmed to us that our desserts would be removed off our bill and put on the house. After asking for our bill and having to wait almost an hour, it came back complete without our desserts removed from the amount. The food was also mediocre at best.
02/08/2025: Best hotel around, top class, very reasonable, great staff.

19/08/2025: Pizza House in Black Castle Navan were incredibly unprofessional in their response to my partner ringing them to check where our food was. They answered the phone and abused him, not letting him get a word in edgeways before saying they were cancelling his order. I think this is completely unacceptable from the restaurant. This is not the first time we’ve had an issue with them whenever we ring to order they are always exceptionally rude but to throw abuse down a customers ear for simply asking the whereabouts of our food that we paid for is beyond a joke.

10/08/2025: If you're reading a google review about a chipper you probably care somewhat about the finer details. None of our other reviews detail chippers as none of them really stand out, despite many being of relatively good quality. Tower Grill here almost seems healthy ! Decent staff, really good quality fish, big thick pieces, good batter, staff who care about the produce and their cooking. New set-up apparently, they recently took over the business.

But im coming on here too note that a woman that works he has gone above and beyond with her work. The lady has not stopped making sure everyone is happy. Cleaning up when shes not busy and always on the go. Asking everyone if we need anything. Very polite. I havent seen that tyoe of service in a long time. Fair play too her.
27/05/2025: Twice now I've ordered and the burger is not cooked.
My advice to people is to stick to the chicken.

12/03/2025: Family of 6 visited for breakfast on my Dad's 80th birthday as we were staying in Bunclody. I'd pre ordered an 80th birthday cake to pick up when we'd eaten but they brought it out with an 80th candle and sang to him which was lovely. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming and more than happy to accommodate changes to the menu we asked for such as scrambled instead of fried egg, nothing was a problem and the coffee was great. All 6 of us enjoyed the variety of breakfasts we chose. The cakes looked lovely but we didn't sample them as they brought us plates and a knife for us to tuck into the birthday cake (which was lovely). Would highly recommend if you're in the area.
