As it's a busy place...sometimes there is a delay in taking the order,but definitely worth the wait.😉

The Central Bar

11/10/2025: Perfect bar for all ages. Large smoking area upstairs with cocktail bar. Another bar with love music and downstairs has a more relaxed atmosphere. Definitely returning soon
05/10/2025: Had a birthday party at the Central this weekend. As always the staff were wonderful. The food was fantastic and the cake made in house was so good. We would highly recommend

04/08/2025: The Gate is hands down my go-to spot whenever I’m in Navan. It’s the only place I trust for proper, freshly made food that hits the spot every time. The homemade soups are absolutely delicious, full of flavour and clearly made from scratch. I had the chicken Caesar salad on my last visit and it was perfect: crisp lettuce, juicy chicken, and the dressing was just right. Their wraps are always fresh and generously filled, you can really taste the quality.
The service is super friendly and welcoming, which makes all the difference. You feel looked after from the moment you walk in. Whether you are popping in for a quick bite or sitting down for a relaxed lunch, The Gate always delivers. Can’t recommend it enough!

03/09/2025: As far as chippers go in Navan, you’re simply not going to beat the valley for quality. They are unreal. However they are on the pricier side and chip portions seem to have gotten pretty small in recent years- hence the 4 star. Would rather pay a bit more and get proper portion of chips

They had a lovely deal for cocktail on this day.
Worth trying out if you’re ever in town.

19/08/2025: Pizza House in Black Castle Navan were incredibly unprofessional in their response to my partner ringing them to check where our food was. They answered the phone and abused him, not letting him get a word in edgeways before saying they were cancelling his order. I think this is completely unacceptable from the restaurant. This is not the first time we’ve had an issue with them whenever we ring to order they are always exceptionally rude but to throw abuse down a customers ear for simply asking the whereabouts of our food that we paid for is beyond a joke.

But im coming on here too note that a woman that works he has gone above and beyond with her work. The lady has not stopped making sure everyone is happy. Cleaning up when shes not busy and always on the go. Asking everyone if we need anything. Very polite. I havent seen that tyoe of service in a long time. Fair play too her.
27/05/2025: Twice now I've ordered and the burger is not cooked.
My advice to people is to stick to the chicken.

16/03/2025: Just awful awful- terrible service took my money and received no food .. then cancelled my order and had me waiting days for the refund… very unhelpful when I called.
