13/03/2026: Had breakfast this morning in room8 and I can not fault anything, the food was so tasty and fresh, nicest breakfast I have had in awhile. We will definitely be back.
12/03/2026: Food was delicious despite poached eggs not being runny, homemade hash brown was a nice addition.

07/03/2026: Fish and chips were flavorless except for oil. Burgers were ok. Never checked on once after we gave order. Not an enjoyable meal.

Food was very bland and meat was very tough. We had a party of 10 and all tried each other’s food, nothing was seasoned or tasty. Sauces were watery and flavourless, steak couldn’t be cut with the steak knives.
They also hadn’t put enough tables together to fit us all, so we were on top of each other the whole meal. We didn’t want to complain or cause a fuss but no one was happy.
When we went to pay, they said as we were such a large party they had a policy about the tip. No one even got alcohol, just water and food. They didn’t serve us any more than a smaller party. We thought the tip we decided was very generous considering the food, but they were very unhelpful and just kept saying it was their policy and it had to be paid.
Wouldn’t have bothered me much if the food had been decent. Not a nice experience at all. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

Ryan's Bar

07/03/2026: My two friends and I went to Ryan's Pub last night to buy drinks, but when we reached the counter, the guy behind the bar refused to serve us because my friends were not wearing jeans, even though I was the only one wearing jeans. I then tried to buy drinks for all of us by myself, but he still refused to serve us. We also saw people wearing work clothes who had clearly come straight from their jobs without wearing jeans being served without any issue while we were refused. We have been to this pub a few times before without wearing jeans and never had any issues, yet suddenly there was a so-called new rule about what clothing people can wear. Ryan’s Pub is absolutely ridiculous. Why do they care about what clothes people wear? It shouldn't matter as long as we're paying them their weekly wages. It’s a pub, not a nightclub, and this so-called new rule completely ruined our experience, so we would not recommend anyone go there, and we will never be going back again.
24/02/2026: Went to watch the rugby match, big screen, loadsa room and not busy, it was great. Staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful.

17/03/2026: I love supermacs food and the menu here is great, food is fresh and staff are friendly. The door is a nightmare to open with a buggy though, defo need another person to help as it’s very heavy.
