18/05/2025: Lovely, acquaint place, great food

17/05/2025: Great place. They were busy when my friend and I arrived, but we were able to get a table fairly quickly. My only issue with the place was that our condiments were taken away and not returned. When we asked for salt, it took ages for some sachets of salt to arrive (we had previously had a salt shaker). Other than this, quality service. Food was great and very good value for money. We got some cakes to take away and enjoy later with a cup of tea. Over all very pleasant.

01/06/2025: Five of us had dinner at the Hungry Monk on a Saturday evening and had a superb experience. We were seated at a lovely round table and received first-class service throughout. The menu was seasonal and appealing, with beautifully cooked dishes—sea bass, tempura monkfish, lamb, rib eye, and excellent desserts. Portions were generous, using quality ingredients, well presented. The wine recommendations were spot on. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and highly recommended

My son had an absolutely delightful time, and the evening was truly special. The food was exquisite—everyone who attended was full of praise and gratitude for such a delicious dinner. The warm atmosphere, the friendly smiles, and the exceptional service all contributed to making the experience unforgettable. A special thank you for the beautiful room decorations, which created the perfect setting. I walked in, took my seat, and was able to fully enjoy my son’s communion without a single worry. You took care of everything with such professionalism and kindness. Congratulations to all of you on the incredible job you do. Located in the heart of Bray, it offers an elegant and refined, yet warm and welcoming environment. The menu is varied and well structured, with dishes that combine classic and modern flavours, prepared with high quality ingredients. Each course was delicious, well presented and served with great attention. The staff are friendly, professional and always available to recommend the right dish or a good pairing with wine. The relaxed atmosphere makes The Wild Goose perfect for a romantic dinner, a lunch with friends or a special evening. A restaurant that is definitely worth a try if you are in Bray. We will definitely be back!

Truly living up to the reputation of pubs in Ireland, very congenial atmosphere, everything just perfect. If you find yourself in the Wicklow mountains, it is a must-visit.
