28/01/2025: Had a lovely brunch and coffees here with some family! The big terrace and tables make it a great spot to meet up and chat on a trip home. The chilli eggs are absolutely delicious, the staff were super helpful and its just such a lovely location down by the harbour! Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Bray!

16/02/2025: I have just had Sunday Lunch here today with my family. 5 adults 2 small children. It was so good. Forget your Greystones overpriced eateries. The food here is fresh, seasonal, well cooked, delicious and value for money. The pan fried fish and Sunday Roasts are particularly good. The staff are welcoming efficient and good humoured. Well done all.

10/02/2025: Three of us went there for the first time on Feb 9th. Warm friendly staff, prompt service, good quality food and excellent value for money. I shall certainly be returning and highly recommend a visit if only for a creamy pint.

09/02/2025: Had full Irish breakfast, was average at best. Microscopic knob of butter for two slices of sour dough bread . It arrived with 2 poached eggs , now I never been served poached eggs on a fried breakfast before without at least been asked. C'mon guys converse

08/02/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by this little unsuspecting cafe! Food was really quality ingredients and clearly homemade, staff were friendly and efficient and the interior was very cute. Great value for money too.

02/03/2025: Nice cozy spot and great after a walk around Glendalough park, the staff was really nice but the food did not leave a mark. It was just ok. Nothing particularly bad but nothing memorable either.
The flavors were basic, and the presentation was standard. It’s an okay spot if you’re hungry, but not a place I’d go out of my way to visit again.
02/03/2025: The Wicklow Heather is a must for any visitors to Glendalough! It makes for the perfect stop after visiting the park; the atmosphere is cosy, welcoming, and magical! The restaurant itself is full of first edition books by famous Irish authors and other antiques that adorn its walls; you’ll never be bored dining here! They have a wonderful Irish menu with seasonal vegetables and meats, all fresh and perfectly cooked.
We’ve been there each time we visit and are never disappointed!

The Dining Room at Rathsallagh

22/01/2025: Rooms were a bit dated and some had wallpaper coming off the walls in places, few bathrooms still had carpet on the floors. Small corrodors throughout the accommodation although the hotel itself is very old. It looks like a good option for a wedding although it wasn't the aesthetic we were looking for. Fantastic location as it's well out of the way. If the rooms had a revamp it would be a fantastic place.
14/01/2025: I had the pleasure of photogarphing Ellen & Paul's wedding at Rathsallagh House - What an experience from start to finish. These guys really know how to run a good show from start to finish! Every direction you turn there are opportunities for photographs!
I can't wait to work here again soon!

Usually go here with my family after a swim in Shoreline on a Sunday. Don't know what happened today, whether or not there is a different chef on mid week or there is a new chef in general but the food was awful.
Went on a Monday as kids were on mid term. Really disappointing everything we ordered was night and day to what we would usually eat here. The chips normally have a seasoning, omelette was greasy, French toast was doughy. Even the coffee was terrible. Very Strange

18/01/2025: Unfortunately I can't comment on the food here but I went for coffee to meet a friend and it was nice. It has an outdoor smoking area to rear with heating and cover for inclement weather. Atmosphere was fine big tvs with football all in all a nice place would like to try food.

31/01/2025: Great fish bar/restaurant. Friendly service. The chowder is absolutely delicious. There menu has all the usuals, burgers (saw one on another table, it looked great), fish & chips and lots more. But there is also a separate blackboard with a long list of fish dishes. Great Beamish too! It isn't cheap - but it is good value.
