The best restaurantsof italian in Dublin

12/12/2024: Not for me. Had a date with the wife. I got a burger and chips and she got pizza and chips. Dinner before a gig. Burger isn't great. It looks like two supermarket burgers, really small and not great tasting. I expected a nice beef burger but nope. Pizza was lovely especially the base. Chips were fine. As always, my issue is charging 3.50euro for a 200ml coke zero. Pure robbery. Wife had a pornstar martini and she said it was nice. Prices were ok. 70euro for two dinners, 1 Toblerone desert, 3 coke zero and a cocktail. Service was fine. Got food order right which is great. Food arrived quickly too.

17/11/2024: Really enjoyed visiting this place. The food was lovely. If you are into your wine, then this place knows their wines! Also, its propperly authentic italian food.

11/11/2024: We had a lovely dinner here at the weekend! Great selection of Wine. We asked for a recommendation on the red wine and it did not disappoint. We all ordered different starters and mains and everyone (6 of us) were very happy! Will definitley be back!

25/10/2024: This review is for delivery order. Half of the order is missing, and this is second time this restaurant has messed up my order in such way. I will not be giving it third opportunity to mess it up like this. Avoid at all costs.

29/11/2024: Maybe good place to eat but within 30 minutes we ware not even ask for order! Was busy but not soo busy to ignore customers! Please check your cameras again because yes ware inside and for short time we ware without a table and yes that’s not a problem during busy hours but after that we was having a table and 3 or 4 groups of people that come in after us ware asked for order we didn’t - 2 adults and 2 children. We ware asked for order only once one of your staff discover that we want to leave. Something like this is not acceptable to ignore customers and once you checked cameras fair play for doing this but your reply is not 100% right.

18/12/2024: Took a long time to seat us eventhough we were the only ones waiting and the place was not full. Then, we were ignored until I flagged a waiter. Food was average. Not my best experience.

16/12/2024: We had an incredible experience at Milano’s, thanks to Robyn, our server. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her warm, positive attitude made the entire evening so enjoyable. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely loves what they do, and Robyn’s professionalism and kindness stood out in every way. She truly made our meal memorable - thank you, Robyn!

13/12/2024: ordered delivery there, comes up saying delivered , point blank DIDNT deliver to me, ROBBED me of £20 and then on the phone pretends she cant hear you and hangs up!? JOKE! delivery driver obviously had it as came to hotel reception and was told in the order the room number and pretended he didnt know it, he also had my number on the order ZERO attempt to deliver, robbed!!

13/06/2024: This is a great restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and the staff have always been friendly. The food is also delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

09/11/2024: Overpriced food but the food was ok

09/11/2024: Went in ordered a pitza there was no one else in the restaurant. Chipper seemed slow too. Ages later the staff came and asked me was I OK. I was drinking water ordered with pitza. I put my hands up with a shug to say still waiting on my pitza. Se goes oh god I forgot to put the timer on it was burnt to a crisp!!🤔🤪. Being the only person in the restaurant who she had passed by many times I wouldn't recommend it .. had to pay parking to sit and wait for burnt pitza obviously I didn't eat it and left 😤

28/11/2024: This is a longer post. First and foremost we booked a reservation and were sat pretty quickly and maybe 5 minutes later we were asked by a not so nice waiter if we were ready. We were then taken over by Zachariah who was AMAZING! He was so nice and attentive even tho he was the ONLY WAITER THERE. The place was packed full, and he was the only waiter working. Insane. But he was great! The food was good. I got the pan fried chicken. Once we were close to done, a man (not sure what his position was) asked can we leave soon cuz they had the big party. I said absolutely not, we booked a reservation at 6:45 and it wasn’t even 7:30 and per your guidelines on open table, we had a 2 hour time slot and hadn’t even filled one. We had also not finished yet. We were left alone after that and again Zach was great! I feel like if the big party wasn’t there, we would have been okay. But regardless, food was good.

22/10/2024: Sooo bad. €17 for a pizza that was clearly a cheap frozen pizza from Tesco. Like the bottom of the barrel cheap €2 stuff. It had the little factory holes all over the bottom so it obviously wasn't made in the restaurant. It didn't have any of the toppings from the menu, just bland, tasteless cheese and tomato sauce. It was gross honestly. Waiter was pretty rude as well.

11/10/2024: The food was good, expensive, but in the end normal for Dublin. The staff has been very unpleasant, we were just talking and they have come to ask us to lower the volume a couple of times (it should be noted that the place was practically empty except for us, who asked for a lot of things). Afterwards they have made fun of us several times for being Spanish, even speaking to us in Italian and telling us nonsense. We had been there for an hour (there was still no one in the place) and they kept looking at us, gesturing for us to leave again and not because they were going to close but because they wanted us to leave, saying “bye” several times. I have to say that the man at the register with the glasses was very kind, but the girl and the boy in the kitchen literally kicked us out, this had never happened to me.

19/10/2024: Chips much better this time as I asked for them to be fresh, not reheated, cause I got bad chips on my last online order. I did take away. Much nicer chips, fresh cod was lovely batter nice and crispy. Not much to say about service cause nobody ever says much when you place your order, but to be honest they have a job to do. But a smile or some pleasantness would be nice. Children's burger chips good, and nice little treats with it was a lovely touch.
