04/04/2025: Had a birthday dinner here and experience wasn’t good.
Food was meh, waitress was a bit rude, orders were mixed up even though it was all double checked after making the order.
The pizza was ok but no one liked the carbonara. When asked about the food we didn’t like the carbonara and were being asked why we didn’t like until the very last minute we were, not very comfortable for us.
Don’t really recommend this place.

05/06/2025: The Melon Martini cocktail was overly sweet and lacked balance. On the bright side, the appetizer—a goat cheese tartine with fig and prosciutto—was outstanding: flavorful, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The cod was cooked to the right texture but unfortunately quite bland. The pancetta dish also leaned too sweet, and the accompanying cream lacked depth of flavor. The Garden Room itself is bright and airy with a lovely view, and the staff were excellent—attentive and welcoming.

17/08/2025: Have been to Il Corvo many times pre concert and always a good experience so was disappointed to find that both food and service were so bad at our recent visit. We had a table for 5:15 and were seated at 5:30 which was expected as it was so busy. We ordered immediately however 40 mins later we still were waiting for starters. We asked for water 3 times and never got any. The main courses were mediocre. The vegetarian pasta was basically plain pasta with broccoli and tomatoes all over cooked. The carbonara was very greasy and the sauce was minimal.
So disappointing and for the price I won’t be returning.
Maybe it’s ok on a normal day but on a match or concert day I would steer clear.

16/10/2025: Our server Asha was next level for hospitality. Down to cutting my pizza for me since my hands were occupied with the baby. This was our first meal in Ireland and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The pizza was delicious for all.

18/10/2025: Myself and my wife had dinner here on a Friday night and had a really great experience. The food was delicious - for starters we had (1) the prawns in nduja and herb butter and (2) the burrata di bufala and mains (1) rigatoni arrabiata di pollo and (2) rigatoni all’ amatriciana - all dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty.
What stood out for our experience was the service! The two girls looking after the restaurant were very friendly and although the restaurant was busy never they were calm, engaging and ensured a very pleasant dining experience.
We will definitely be back!

28/07/2025: Absolutely magnificent restaurant experience at Sands Mediterranean in Clontarf. The food here is to die for...we ordered the best Frutti di Mare pizza ever with the most delicious seafood toppings, the wonderful baked hake with pasta and the freshly battered fish and chips. The garlic pizza starter went down a treat and the triple cooked chips and garlic mayo are superb. Mick and his staff are the best and so welcoming and accommodating. This was another really top notch dining experience and I highly recommend putting Sands Mediterranean on your list of restaurants to try in Clontarf. 5 stars all day long!

12/10/2025: If you are in to that type of food you will be very happy. If you are looking for quick meal you will be happy as well.
Food is prepared quickly, portions are big and food is tasty. Comparing to other similar chippers this was is on the highest level.

17/09/2025: Visited the Aprile chipper, today, looking at the menu, decided on what I wanted to order, voices behind the counter, had to ask can I get served, female popped her head up, put the order in, male then served me didn't like his attitude, if he smiled, he'd get a santa visit, often went in service was great, food was lovely,

07/08/2025: The quality seems to have been going down for a while, but since its close we order anyway. Today though we orderd doners and they were absolutely inedible. Not sure if the meat is old or not stored properly, but I ended up binning the food and will not order from Romayos again. I wouldnt recomended anyone else eather.
