01/10/2024: Wallace Asti is a wonderful Italian restaurant that offers a cozy and authentic dining experience. We started with a spritz, which was refreshing. For entrees, we had the calamari and burrata — the calamari was perfectly crispy, and the burrata was rich and creamy, a true delight. For mains, we enjoyed the risotto and the "Sud" pizza with Nduja. The risotto was amazing, with a perfect texture and deep flavors. The "Sud" pizza was a standout — the spicy Nduja added a bold kick, making it a delicious choice for those who enjoy some heat. Overall, the food was excellent, and the ambiance made for a great evening. Highly recommend!

12/09/2024: Very warm welcome, impeccable service. We were served by Carolina and Victoria. The chef, also very nice, speaks a little French. We had Carbonara pasta, Crostone con polpo and fried calamari. Very good. The whole team is very friendly.

22/09/2024: My girlfriend and I chose a beautiful place with delicious Italian food, we were terribly unlucky because someone forgot about us when other guests who came to the place much later were getting their food, thanks to the understanding staff we got a pizza with a hair in it, it was replaced with a new one and we got extra drinks for free.

11/09/2024: Normally it’s quite hard to find good vegan options at an italian restaurant but this restaurant had options for all diets. The food was lovely and the service was excellent. Beware of the bottled water and make sure to specify tap when asked.

18/08/2024: Great, cute Italian spot to enjoy a meal in Dublin. Diverse menu with Italian favorites, classic pastas, and pizzas. Food quality was high, advertised local ingredients, and service was great. My dietary requests were accommodated well. Call ahead to reserve a 4-top next to the windows for the best seats. There are a few areas for improvement: The restaurant can get warm, smoky and stuffy unless staff opens the door, the menu does not list allergen ingredients like many other restaurant menus, the server’s English language skills were very limited resulting in a mistake with our order, and white wines by the bottle pricing seemed high at €38-€42 per bottle. However, the pizzas were quite delicious, made in a proper pizza oven, and overall still a delightful experience.

29/09/2024: We have been here three times in last two years and are looking to come a fourth time, if we can find a space! Really fresh, simple, flavoursome and authentic handmade pastas. Really lovely staff. We really like the tiramasu, so satisfying.

22/09/2024: Mediocre would be the best way I could describe our experience at Grano. I'm not sure where the standard for Italian food is set in Ireland but this was overhyped. As reservations are near impossible to get I was expecting a meal worth remembering. To start we ordered, The Meatballs which were soft and cooked well in a red sauce that had some good flavor. Calabrian dips which were okay and the Burratta which was firm, compacted and more like Philadelphia. Our mains comprised of the special Ossobuco Ravioli and the raved about Balanzoni. Both dishes were nearly indistinguishable in taste. It was really unfortunate, because the pasta is beautifully made by hand all night ultimately to be let down by sauce and fillings which fall flat without any depth of flavor. Overpowered by salt and butter it almost felt like eating a child's pasta dish. Unable to taste any of the fresh ossobuco and the Balanzoni had not even a notion of sage, ricotta or mortadella mentioned in the dish. We followed with the Tiramisu which was the best part of the meal. Service really left a lot to be desired. We had a constant rotation of wait staff which required more difficulty than desired to flag down. Stopping everything and waiting like flagging a Taxi down in NYC. They appeared too bothered with regulars and cleaning glasses to care. We really do not understand the hype and how such bland mediocrity is book out so far in advance. Save yourself the hassle.

19/09/2024: Very friendly service and very tasty risotto and rigatone al ragu. Authentic Italian cuisine with not exorbitant prices. Highly recommended!

29/09/2024: Breakfast was included with our stay at Haddington House. Everything was perfect; perfect view of the ocean, perfect and friendly service and the food was also exceptional.

17/09/2024: We entered by chance, without any previous information or recomemdation. We do mot regret and surely we will come back during our next trip to the beautiful country of Ireland and to the friendly Don Laoghire (sorry for possible incorrect spelling: it's easier to pronounce than to write!). Food was in line with our expectations for a top Italian quality. A special appreciation for the young girl who was in her day of work in Oliveto! We wish her to succeed in all her carreer plans, whatever may be! (We do not noticed her name, but you can easily identify her!)

17/09/2024: We loved Cirillo’s!!! The pizza was so incredible. We also loved the calamari, and the limoncello spritz was the best we had in Ireland! Service was outstanding. We sat downstairs and loved watching the guys cook the pizza. Such a great meal.

12/09/2024: Had an after work dinner here. Excellent pizza, core-Italian offerings, and wine recommendations to accompany the food. Also the staff are amazing and went out of their way to help arrange our booking which I deeply appreciated. Grazie!
