The best restaurantsof italian in Dublin

11/01/2026: I had a great experience at Angelina’s Restaurant in Dublin. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was delicious — well seasoned, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The bread was soft and complemented the filling really well. For dessert, I had the cheesecake, and it was absolutely amazing: creamy, rich, and not overly sweet. The service truly made the experience even better. Haryel and Teresa were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, making us feel very welcome from start to finish. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed, perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

08/01/2026: Angelina’s had a bit of a mixed vibe for us. It was quite dark inside and not very quiet, and we ended up seated almost right in the middle, which made it feel a little busy. That said, the food was really good, and it definitely made up for the atmosphere. If you’re there mainly for the food, it’s well worth it.

19/01/2026: We came here for some gelato when in Dublin. There are a couple of the Gino's around town and we came here as the pomegranate sorbet has had my name on it since we arrived. It was just over €5 for one scoop. We had a sample of the white chocolate and pistachio and bought a scoop of the vanilla and pomegranate sorbet. This was so sweet and delicious this flavour, I wish this was more popular. Would really recommend as a refreshing sorbet

17/01/2026: Donaghy was so nice to myself and my daughter. Think they had a little trouble with a crowed of teenagers in the shop but he assured us if they bothered us he would have security deal with them.

20/02/2026: Honest review.. Food did taste good but main portion sizes are small and sauce to pasta ratio is more sauce than pasta. Tiramasu desert had no flavour and was all cream. Considering they say they offer a pasta school I am disappointed with the food. Service was ok, very slow and on 2 occasions we had to ask for either a menu or someone to come over. House red wine very good, smooth. prices ok. looking at other people's meals, the pizzas look a good option. 1 starter, 5 main course, 2 desert. worked out €37 per person with 1 drink each

17/02/2026: The setting is wonderful, even for a romantic dinner like mine. I dined at this restaurant on Valentine's Day, and it was wonderful. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the food was excellent. Despite the restaurant being full, the staff were truly prepared for the evening, and the food was excellent. I will definitely be back.

03/01/2026: So. After a day carrying bags for an (almost!) 17 year old, I had the good fortune to find myself staring at the menu outside Pacino’s door. Saying that I was hungry was an understatement. The bags I was laden with were beginning to look edible. Dublin on a Saturday, at 5 pm, I tried more out of hope than anything by asking the nice girl inside the door was there any chance of a table?!?!… and I truly don’t know what class of an angel was looking down at that moment (…possibly the one that looks after lost causes???) but she said YES!!! The place looked stunning, all still decked out in twinkly Christmas lights, and the menus are delightful, with something for everyone. We had a mix of starters, mains and pizzas, and one common theme throughout them all- they were all as equally exceptional as each other. The “Arancini Al Funghi” is to die for… delectably delightful balls of mushroom risotto, with a crispy coating and an arrabiata sauce- it s perfection. The pizzas are just how Nonna likes them… light and airy with just the right amount of topping, and the flavours from those toppings jump out. I had the Salami & Gorgonzola with oodles of smooth blue loveliness all over it. Pacino’s is definitely my new favourite Dublin eatery, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it just feels “right” if you know what I mean? The only downside is that I need to find an excuse to get back over again soon!!! Treat yourself, I know if Al is ever in town, he’ll stop by… 😉 17/10 for pizzaness… 😇

03/01/2026: Absolute must eat in Dublin - especially late at night after a few pints of Guinness! The guys there were hilarious, and our margherita pizza was divine.

04/01/2026: We ordered two main dishes: gnocchi and chicken/pasta. Both entrees were obviously reheated since we received our food 5 minutes after placing order. Flavor was super bland and reminded me of something ordered from a kids menu. On top of the blah food, there were gnats diving bombing our plates. I shared this info with the waiter and he acknowledged that gnats have been an issue. WTH!?!

08/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining in this amazing restaurant during my trip in Dublin. As an italian I’m always skeptical about italian cuisine abroad, but when I tried Pinocchio’s food I couldn’t believe I was tasting true italian dishes outside of Italy. The ingredients are so authentic and fresh, they truly bring to you the italian flavours. I was waited on by Erika and Dalila, who were extremely prepared and helpful. Their kindness and spirits is what makes the restaurant experience great. I hope to be back very soon! Go girls!!

08/02/2026: I spent a really lovely evening here at Pinocchio restaurant, by far one the best restaurants I’ve tried in Dublin. The staff has been very helpful, in particular the waitresses Dalila and Erica, who welcomed us and made us feel home during our dinner. The food was also great and worth the price. I highly reccomend this place if you happen to be in Dublin!

10/01/2026: Where to even begin? 1) Michelin-star prices for frozen microwave dinner quality food - supermarket budget own brand frozen calamari with the consistency / texture of minced meat, 5 pieces for €13 - seafood "risotto" made with basmati rice, 4 small frozen prawn tails and no other pieces of seafood, copious amounts of cream and salt, taste and texture more akin to a cheap curry - ravioli in canned cream of tomato soup masquerading as a sauce - chewy, supermarket budget own brand quality olives on soggy bruschetta - tiny pizza with a soggy base, dried cheese, hardly any toppings, could well have been frozen, for €23!! - no bread / anything similar for the table - 2 coke zeros both served flat, I suspect poured from a 2L family value bottle rather than from cans 2) Hidden 10% service charge for a table of two 3) Poorly ventilated, stuffy and smelly space - you will leave with your clothes and hair stinking of deep fried fast food 4) Had to ask several times for water for the table - it eventually came after we had finished our meal, I suspect just another subtle way to squeeze more money out of you by ordering drink refills instead It's baffling how this tourist trap has gotten any positive reviews outside of bots / fake accounts by the owners / friends of same or perhaps tourists who only had time for airplane food on their flight to Ireland to compare it to.

04/01/2026: Had dinner here this evening with my son, my God it was amazing. From the time we walked in until we walked out the door our waitress Alex was very attentive, serving with a big smile on her face making us feel so welcome and looked after. For starters we had the king prawns, chowder and shared a garlic bread, it was devine....from the first bite until the bowls/plates were empty the flavours were amazing 🤤 i'd have asked for seconds only we had mains on the way.Mains were Raviolli and Octopus Spaghetti, both were exquisite, again the flavours were amazing, the chef really knows how to put flavours together. A couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio to wash it down we moved onto Dessert, we shared the profiteroles,my favs,presented well and tasted delish. A great hidden little gem with great food,service and atmosphere, easily accessed from multiple bus routes,limited parking also available. We will definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu 😁

22/02/2026: They seemed to be short staffed the day we were there, but all staff were friendly. The lasagne was full of flavour, we only had a main course. The restaurant was relatively busy on a Saturday afternoon. I've been here before and will definitely go again

03/01/2026: Unfortunately we wont be back again as the food was so disappointing. We ordered a buttermilk chicken burger, a couple of pizzas and chicken tendors. The chicken in the burger was exactly like a frozen birds eye chicken fillet...not what you expect when eating out. Both pizzas were tasteless and we didnt even finish either of them which says a lot. Staff were friendly and nice!
