The best restaurantsof italian in Dublin

18/05/2026: I really enjoyed my meal here, staff were very accommodating and managed to seat us even though we hadn't book (I would book though). It's an actual Italian rather than a Italian thats changed it menu to meet the needs of the tourists who pretend their Italian. Don't order the Guinness.

18/05/2026: Arguably the best Italian restaurant in Ireland! Delicious food, authentic taste and ingredients - the quality of the pasta itself makes it worth a visit. Great friendly service, good selection of wines, really feels like a restaurant in Italy. Excellent!

06/12/2025: Excellent range of coffees including complex filter coffees. Quiet and secluded. Hard to not be tempted by their delicious cakes and buns. Warm friendly service. Wish it was bigger but that’s part of the appeal too. My fav coffee shop on Galway bar none.

28/11/2025: These guys know what they’re doing. Excellent latte that had no need for sugar or syrup. I even picked up a bag of the same beans used in their espresso. My wife tried their ube matcha and it was also delightful.

14/05/2026: We visited The Blind Pig Speakeasy twice during our recent trip to Dublin. Andrew was able to find seats for us even when things were busy, which we really appreciated. He was a great host — friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to explain the history behind the cocktails on the menu. We also requested a Vieux Carré, and he did an excellent job with it. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail made this one of our favorite cocktail spots in Dublin. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a true speakeasy experience!

14/05/2026: Not sure how I knew about this fun place, but it was on our list to “to do” in Dublin. Omg! It was fantastic ! My friend and I shared the little pork sandwiches—don’t know the Italian name off the top of my head, but they were fantastic! Great great atomosphere! I would definitely go back and highly recommend it! Also probably get a reservation just to be safe. There is another speakeasy near it called the Little Pig that the waiter in the Blind Pig recommended which was also neat and fun!

11/04/2026: Very nice restaurant in the heart of Dublin. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered the Carbonara and the Amatriciana. There was a problem with the Carbonara and the staff was quick to offer another plate or to remove it from the bill. The Amatriciana was delicious with a great sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. We will definitely give them another try. 👍

09/04/2026: Restaurant was empty, Quick to have a table. Then... 30 minutes to get 4 pizzas, no kids format, no burgers, only pizzas and pasta. Pizzaiolo was in shorts, no regular coca cola but a Gaza cola which was annonced as a cola. Overall not so great on the service or menu, but pizzas were good !

09/04/2026: Got a takeaway pizza from here. Very good quality and tasted amazing. Only thing I would say is it would be great if delivery pizzas had better packaging/were packaged a bit more securely.

04/05/2026: We had such a gorgeous meal here yesterday. I had the wild mushroom and sausage pizza and it was the nicest pizza I’ve ever had. The base and the toppings were perfect. We also ordered the arancini as a starter, the ragu for our child and a Hawaiian pizza. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and the staff were very friendly.

08/05/2026: We had a lovely evening. The Parlor bar is amazing. Very quaint, fab decor and the view is amazing. I also liked the fact that they transferred our bar tab to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is lovely. Nicely set tables, generous space and friendly staff. Food is good, but lacking a little. The rigatoni was under cooked, the chicken just was far too salty, and the leaks lacking flavor. But overall a good meal. The bill included 10% gratuity.

29/04/2026: No pizza but still plenty of other options on the menu. The buratta was the standout dish hands down. Virginia was such a great host.
