16/12/2025: A safe bet for Italians! A very refined atmosphere, a very nice place! The food is good Italian for a foreign country, recommended for those who want a pasta dish or a good main course! The staff is very kind and friendly, greetings to Giorgia!

13/12/2025: I ordered the 23 euro carbonara. I found it too salty for my taste to be enjoyable. I know carbonara contains salty ingredients but I've had others that were more balanced. The portion size was too small for me personally especially considering the price, I was still a bit hungry afterwards. The service was ok, but it seemed like the waiter didn't care and might even come off as a bit rude. I don't think we were being terrible customers. The atmosphere and the decorations were very good. I would not recommend the carbonara and would suggest ordering something else.

15/12/2025: Pasta is the best in town. However, I feel like the quality lowered down in few things like the complementary bread at the beginning (before they brought more quantity and olive oil where now they serve a small portion of focaccia). Also, quite expensive the focaccia for the portion. They used to have bigger portions of desserts where now the cannolo comes in a small millegoglie. The tiramosu used to had a delicius crushed dark chocolate and last time it came with one that seemed like the milk Cadbury one from the celebration boxes. Hoping that they keep the amazing standard on the little details that they used to have. Finally, the attention and atmosphere there is amazing. They make you feel like home.

16/12/2025: DON'T BOTHER!! I went in and asked for a table for one around 4:30 pm. The hostess asked me how many of us there were, then started looking at her screen. The other host walked back and they began speaking to each other in another language. She then looked at me, smiled, and said they didn't have anything available at the moment. There was no option to wait a few minutes or anything. All the other 1-star reviews had a similar or worse experience with rude service. DON'T BOTHER! 16/12/2025: Efficient and friendly service with helpful menu advice. We were a group of 8 and everyone enjoyed the experience. The antipasti platter was particularly good.

06/12/2025: Party of four for dinner. Limited gluten free options. Service was slow but they were very busy to be fair. A side salad was just a bowl of lettuce, which seemed poor. Overall, some meals were good, but slightly over priced. 10% service charge was added by default, which is bad form for a small table. Wouldn't go again. Pleasant atmosphere and a good view though.

14/11/2025: Fantastic experience this weekend for a special birthday celebration lunch. Virginia and the entire team at Oliveto and The Parlour, were outstanding. Nothing like a warm welcome and personal service as well as fabulous food, beautiful surroundings and a venue with style. We are very grateful to Virginia and the team for their upbeat, professional engagement and service. Our drinks and bar snacks afterwards at the Parlour with some additional guests, were also superb and enjoyed by all. A big thank you! We will be back!

14/09/2025: Service was appalling, was trying to order a drink was asked to move certain area so I did. Then proceeded to get ignored by the bar staff who asked me to move in so I asked why, again because I was “not in the que” even though there was no designated Que here sign. Didn’t get name but very distinct staff member, Round glasses and mullet working upstairs by the smoking area absolutely awful service. All could have been avoided by better communication.

02/01/2026: A very good pizza, surely better than pizzas served sometimes in Italy, and prepared with good quality ingredients. Atmosphere is simple and friendly, very nice reception and highly appreciated the limoncello offered after dinner. Great job guys!

22/12/2025: This is the best place to have Italian cuisine in Dublin. Live the food, its quantity and taste. Also Joshita is a very friendly and nice person in the store suggesting the best of their dishes. Recommend it a 100%.

19/12/2025: Had tried their Pollo Funghi pasta in creamy sauce. Fabulous. Good quality & quantity italian pasta within affordable price near city centre. Located at the end of tbe Talbot street. ( Be safe while walking at night in these region)

05/10/2025: We went there for a birthday and really enjoyed it. The place was comfortable and pleasant, and the staff were patient and friendly throughout. The food was very good, with some nice vegetarian options that were well prepared. Overall, it was a relaxed and enjoyable experience, and we’d be happy to go back another time.

29/11/2025: We were there for dinner at 20:20 and even in the entrance they said they close at 2200. They took our order and it came 2130. Anyway during our order we asked spoon they didn’t bring it, we needed to ask again and again. There was a group asked for dessert it was 2210 but they said us to close at 2200. So weird place to go. Wouldn’t recommend.

27/11/2025: I love going to Milano in Grand Canal Dock before going to a show in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. The staff are super-aware of the fact that most people eating at that time are going to the show and the service reflects this. Therefore, I never feel stressed and worried about the food taking too long to arrive, etc. making me late for the show. The atmosphere for pre-theatre goers in Milano at that time is delightful - everyone is in good spirits looking forward to the rest of a great evening.

21/12/2025: We booked a table at this restaurant for December 20th. Upon arrival, we were presented with a set menu costing over €40, with no option to order à la carte. This is completely unprofessional and definitely made us want to leave. The food was good, but rather conventional. Given the price, we expected a more refined experience. Overall, a real disappointment.

18/12/2025: I went to this restaurant and it was outrageous. They force you to eat the Christmas menu, 2 or 3 courses — no choice, mandatory. A million rules: prepayment required, strict time limits at the table, what you must eat, how much you must eat. Splitting the bill? Forget it — impossible. I follow rules at work all day. When I go out for dinner, I want to relax, not be stressed to death. If you want to experience maximum stress, go to this restaurant. Otherwise, stay far away. Stress guaranteed!
