11/06/2025: This place is the only place that the prices feel like the early 2000's. If I could give the service 10 stars, I would. Very friendly staff and the food was really good. The place had nice music inside to keep the atmosphere going. Would 100% recommend and will definitely come back when I visit Tralee again.

25/05/2025: It is a family run business. The staff is welcoming and they make you feel right at home. The selections of coffee and tea are varied and you can always find an old favorite or try something new. My husband and I and two friends can spend hours here just talking and we are never made to feel we have outlasted our welcome! Wait times are just about non-existant. We try to visit about once a week.

25/06/2025: Didn’t eat: Kitchen closes at 21:00, not 23:00! Apparently restaurant can’t change this time…

22/06/2025: Wow! The flavor of everything was outstanding. From the starter, the main meal & dessert were incredible. Favorite meal of the trip so far.

06/06/2025: The loudest restaurant we've ever experienced, not even in Sicily!! 🤭 The pizza dough was more like grissini, with a bit less spinach. Very attentive and friendly service.

13/06/2025: Today was my first time at MJ'S. I ordered a burger and homemade fries and curry sauce. I ordered food on the spot. After ordering, I sat down at the table to wait for the food. In the meantime, cleaning started around me (I was an hour before the restaurant closed). They started vacuuming (a great feeling and smell when the vent is pointing in your direction). Imagine my surprise when I got the food packed in a bag. When choosing the bag, I said that I ordered on the spot, but after they started cleaning the restaurant, I didn't feel like eating on the spot. I decided that I would eat in my car, parked near the restaurant (I must point out that I hate it and usually don't eat in my car), and here again, surprise, because in the bag, apart from the food, there was no salt, tissues or fork. As for the food, I liked the burger and I think it would be even better if I didn't eat it in the car. The fries were ok, but not my cup of tea. The curry sauce was ok, but I prefer it a bit more runny. This one was too thick for me. Much too thick. I doubt I'll go back there because I didn't feel well served there.

02/06/2025: Coming here twice a month past 3 years , because the food is the BEST around and I live in county Limerick. The staff are always so lovely except for today. The waitress who was at the ice cream machine giving out cones was SO ignorant it made me not want to even order dessert. We were seated and left there for over 10 mins I had to go looking for menus myself. We asked the girl at the ice cream machine could she take an order as we were in a rush to eat and go because of bed time for my kids , she said so rudley ' you'll have to give me a few minutes now I'm doing something' . She ended up making the cones for us she came down and handed me the cone with nothing on it I asked could I get some sauce or something on top of it and she rudley barked back ' I wasn't told you wanted sauce on your cone' bare in mind she didn't even say what sauces/ topping she could offer us, I'm a waitress myself and to me this is absolutely un acceptable. It costs nothing to be nice we all have problems in our life mabey she was having a bad day but leave the problems at home because I have to when I go to work. Looks like she hates her job to me. Food as always was top quality

14/06/2025: I recently ordered from Rustic Boowa as a little treat for my team, and wow it completely exceeded all expectations. The spread was honestly stunning. Beautiful boards filled with fresh fruit, colourful crudités, dips, focaccia, cheese, olives, energy balls, health bars, yogurt pots with granola... the works! Everything looked incredible, but more importantly, it tasted amazing. What really impressed me was the attention to detail. Everything was so thoughtfully arranged, and they made sure there were delicious vegan options included too. You could tell a lot of care and creativity went into putting it all together. My team were genuinely blown away. People couldn’t stop talking about it! I wouldn’t hesitate to order again, whether it’s for a meeting, a celebration, or just because. Highly, highly recommend Rustic Boowa.

09/06/2025: I enjoy coming here frequently as I work close by. The service is always super friendly, the pastries and salads are delicious and they have good coffee too. They also sell some of their homemade goods and they’re very good.

09/06/2025: Just love this place! I get a coffee before my walk with friends, the coffee is always good and they have delicious treats especially their cacao and orange protein ball. Perfect place to grab and go aswell!

09/06/2025: Just love this coffeeshop, I come any time I come to town. They always have such good coffee and lovely homemade treats especially the Cinnabon and the muffins. All the staff is so friendly and my dog is welcome as well. Definitely a must stop in Tralee!

27/05/2025: One of our favourite spots in Tralee. The owner is super friendly and they have a wonderful range of fresh dishes! I can just recommend it if you are into carefully prepared delicious food. Also very nice atmosphere.

25/05/2025: We had lunch at The Cheese Shop the day before starting the Dingle Way and came back the next morning to pick up sandwiches for the hike — and we’re so glad we did! The staff were very friendly, and the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. We also tried a selection of local cheeses. Highly recommend this spot to anyone walking the Dingle Way — perfect place to fuel up!
