25/12/2025: Real nice place! Fun bar and good restaurant. Employees are super! Other than a walking trail nearby, you have to drive to get anywhere.

14/01/2026: I’ve been coming here more and more lately with my girlfriend, and we always enjoy it. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, food is always top, and the service is great every time. Definitely our favourite place to go

26/12/2025: We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Our waitress Olga was absolutely fantastic—so positive, friendly, and professional. Her lovely personality really stood out and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The service was brilliant and truly enhanced the whole visit. The food was also very nice. We’ll definitely be back.

23/10/2025: €16 for a 9” pizza Charging different prices at the till to which is advertised on the overhead menu. Definitely not recommend

05/11/2025: Stopped for a quick coffee & snack. Had veg soup, roast beef toastie, a couple coffees, all were very good! The service was warm and friendly!

28/12/2025: Normally this doesn’t disappoint but today absolute shit wouldn’t give it to a dog lasagne heated to hard crust disgrace and chicken curry same thick gunk for curry and burnt in microwave will def not be back if this shit continues gone downhill so badly

20/12/2025: Sometimes when I'm taking public transport between Limerick and Kilkenny, the bus is late arriving into clonmel; meaning id have to wait around town for a few hours. Usually I would be mad about this, but having an excuse to visit this café always almost leaves me excited to miss my bus

14/11/2025: We landed by accident at the Parkgate Coffee. It was the best coffee I had so far in Ireland. This place could be in London. The Coffee was just amazing!

06/02/2026: This was my second time ordering the flame dog. The first time was just before closing time so the lack of tortilla chips supposed to with hot dog was missing. So today I went back at 5 pm. I ordered the flame dog again. This time the amount of taco sauce was laughable, a bare bit on one corner,and again no tortilla chips. The taco mince was lukewarm which i didn't figure until after I went back and said it about the sauce and tortilla chips,they gave me more taco sauce but said they had no tortilla chips,which the hotdog needs for texture to an otherwise mushy dish. How do they not have tortilla chips on a Friday at 5pm. Or are the tortilla chips non existent? I'm sure they are apart of the 8.50 price. So if they're not giving you what is advertising they need to either reduce the price or remove the tortilla from the menu. The chef looked like he didn't care when he was told. The waitress was no bother.

08/10/2025: This is hand down some of the best food I have had in my life. It is definitely the best cheesecake I have had. Everything I have ordered was delicious. Their coffees are perfect, too. What a gem!

30/09/2025: If you are driving you have to park at the mall and walk to the bakery, which is right at the corner. Everything here is made from scratch and is great. If you have time just sit and soak up the atmosphere. This place is great to just chill out in.

28/11/2025: This is a great hotel, in a great location in the town. I stayed in a newly refurbished room and it was very modern and comfortable. The adjoining restaurant had a very large menu with plenty of variety, and the food was excellent. The staff were very accomodating, packing my dinner into a take out bag (with a bonus desert) to take back to my room. My stay this time was for business and I will be returning here for my next trip and any leisure stays in the future.

04/10/2025: Nice, older hotel. The hotel has seen better days; the rooms are functional and clean. There's no elevator, but you can have your luggage brought up to your room and back down again. Friendly staff. The breakfast was a bit odd; rolls were counted, and if you wanted more, you were given toast. The selection wasn't great either. But it's fine for a short stay; the location is very central.
