19/07/2024: We visited on Tuesday and the loveliest most welcoming woman served us I was getting a oat cappuccino and my daughter was in her buggy and I got my husband a couple of gf chocolates, they were incredible so on way back to car we got a box of them. The lady serving is a credit to the company 10/10 in every way and when we go back to Kilkenny hopefully we will see her again and get some more

Yew Restaurant
29/09/2023: I am reviewing breakfast only. A beautifully decorated restaurant. It offers a full spread of Irish breakfast, including 2 types of puddings. Very good.

23/07/2026: We ordered subs since pizzas felt overly expensive in here. Food preparation was slow. The employee was nice. Both subs tasted fine and we would eat them again.
Why rank so low? Our child tipped over the drink and staff refused to refill. It's not a given, which is understandable, but missing goodwill definitely a reason for me not to recommend this location. Also there was a television and loud music blasting in the dining room which is a bit too much.
